My lifelong love of music, instruments, learning instruments at a music conservatory and DJAning since I am 14 declare why I'm attending concerts. That's why I know lots of locations, music halls and clubs. Worldwide. And especially in Germany.
My experience with Verti Music Hall, the security team and the sound facility is so unique.
I have visited so far only other classic, stored concerts, which I am sure also referred to the ages of the musicians.
At Manfred Mann's Earthband (MMEB) the hall was seated, security in the hall seemed very nervous and approached each guest who visibly sat- holding a smartphone in his hands- in his chair. Each guest had been stopped immediately and thrill-Sergeant-screaming-at-him taking no photographs or making videos, as well not to dance and absolutely sitting on the square. Not to move anyway.
Audible. Indeed, all conversations around mecould be listened to because the p.a. volume had been extraordinary... quiet.
The audience was irritated, individually enchanted, some left the concert and protesters were disappointed: everybody of us invested in expensive tickets. and Restricted freedom of moving around and dancing wasn't very helpful. During the first 15 minutes the audience reflected about tickets, living the band or leaving this uncomfortable situation. Without cash back. Of course.
The performance of the band did nothing to do so.
Since I assessed the hall and - for my understanding - also the experience in the hall, I would like to recommend the MCs and promoters or event managers to meet the needs of concert visitors. read more
