So, I know why the cashiers don't tend to be overly friendly and I'm okay with that. Yet, when I stopped by this location this week (twice- one to shop and once for a return), I was surprised to see the smiling cashier. She was apologizing for the line being so long, but we were all returns and that was the register she happened to be working. I didn't mind at all. After returning my item, and like the day before, I wandered around the store telling myself I wouldn't spend more than $20. Needless to say, I did spend more than that, but I wasn't disappointed. The store is clean and the selection's okay. The only real issue for me was that I made 3 visits to the dressing room where the first attendant was nice and the one for the next two visits seemed bothered by having to help people. This is actually common for Ross, so it was pretty minor in my eyes.

This was probably my third or fourth visit to this location, and this is the second time I actually purchased something. They have a massive selection of clothes and accessories, however, at the current moment (December 2021), their shoe inventory is quite low/unimpressive. I assume this is due to the global supply issues stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. Anyway, Hibbett is pretty legit, and this store is pretty good, I just wish they had more inventory and I wish their prices were a smidge lower.

After deliver, one of the seat cushions was mis-shaped in comparison to the rest of the cushions. Contacted the company and it was agreed that the cushion was defective and that they would replace it. They were supposed to send a new seat cushion, but instead I received an entire base section of the sofa. After delivery, we realized that the new piece was defective on the base portion! The stitching from right to left side was off over 3.5 inches along the front face. I called and sent photos and was again agreed the piece was defective. I was again sent a new section of the sofa. Now, the new cushion seat material has been sewn "stretched", which is causing the whole cushion to "crease" to one side! I have wasted so much time and spoke with so many different people trying to correct the flaws of the craftsmanship of this sofa! I'm exhausted with it. If you are looking for money=quality - this company has not been it!

On 7/8/25 I went in and received a quote for a $4,600 sectional at the Home Zone San Angelo that…read moreincluded additional throw pillows that I added. I was surprised that local delivery was not included. Usually if you spend X amount of dollars locally delivery will be included just to sweeten the deal. However, there was a sale going on that included a free dog bed so that made up for it. My quote included the dog bed so once I measured at home and the sectional fit I came back today 8 days later on 7/16/25 to purchase. Once I got in I looked around for other furniture pieces for my daughters and myself. Got two additional quotes & dimensions for chest & dressers. Then went back up to the counter with my sectional quote from 7/8/25 told the sales person Kat I was ready to purchase the sectional. Kat began recreating the quote once we got down to the end she said you won't be getting the dog bed anymore you'll have to pay for it, the sale ended yesterday. I said but I just got this quote a week ago she said well it ended do you want to pay for the dog bed? I told her I'm paying $4,500+ dollars can I just get the dog bed? She said no the sale ended. I said well I was turned off in the beginning about delivery but now I'm not getting the dog bed either. I was willing too if I still got the dog bed. Kat said well I'm not going to twist your arm it's going in your house. I said okay, thank you. And she handed my quote back to me and I left. Ultimately the dog bed was not what cancelled the sale but Kat's cold attitude and lack of customer service to even try and consult a manager on duty.Kats demeanor seemed as if she was uninterested in making a sale or wanting my business. This experience didn't just stop the sale of a $4,600 sectional but won't have me returning to purchase any dressers for my girls. I'm not anyone special but if I was her I definitely would have tried to speak with a manager to just inquire if there was something that could be done. Just the extra step of trying goes a long way.

Next day my SO and I purchased him a few sets and he was given a discount since he was asked about employment. Ordered a tall pant, was told it would take 10-15 business days. Never received my order. Called multiple times for update or possibly tracking, but was just told the same thing "we will call you when it has arrived" finally cancelled my order after day 16. Overall I believe this place has potential but needs a bit of an attitude adjustment, specially from the lady who initially checked me out. I also think it would help to provide tracking, or at least updates regarding orders placed through the store.

Lots of fun to shop at and some of the staff are very attentive and welcoming. I say some because I've been in twice and twice I had issues with customer service. Once when I stopped by the back firearms counter to discuss a long gun I wanted to purchase. BOTH guys behind the counter were too busy chatting it up with a male customer to even give me the time of day, much less wait on me. That's okay. There's someone else who would like the color of my money. The second time, I was waiting to check out and again, there were two people behind the counter. One seemed to be helping the other work on some type of return and it was taking quite some time. Neither employee behind the counter acknowledged me or apologized for the lengthy amount of time I had to wait. The customer being helped apologized but again, no acknowledgement from the employees. I'm going to try shopping there again. If it happens again, I'll find another place to shop. Somebody will appreciate me as a customer.
