First off let me say I am truly blessed, appreciative & thankful for Verrazano Motorworks assisting me in my desperate time of need. When I thought life couldn't get any worse for me especially when it came to my car knowing how expensive BMW's are. As well as knowing my car was standing on its last legs. Verrazano Motorworks stepped in (and said were gonna take care of you, don't worry about it) I'm sure we've all heard that before so as a human I was skeptical but then when I saw the vibe & the genuity from the staff there. Luigi, Eddie & John we're incredible people. What an amazing team. They showed me what ideal customer service, good prices, reliability & integrity is about. I have a bmw 335i xdrive 2011 that was barely standing giving me all sorts of problems from engine issues, timing belts, Idrive console, window buttons, expansion tanks etc that was gonna cost me 15K+ they have worked their magic for almost half the price & all bmw certified parts no after market junk. They have went beyond their way of providing me fair prices to stopping everything at a moments notice, heard me out when it came to the car & helped my comfort with giving me different options. They made me feel welcomed respected & have not only made me feel like my car works better now then when I originally bought it but they made me feel like family. I never got the vibe like (we need your money money money from them) I will refer anyone that has expensive/foreign vehicles & any vehicles to them. Honestly this kind of service & value you get when you deal with Verrazano Motorworks is beyond rare nowadays. Mechanics make you feel like once they fix something nowadays something else falls apart because they can make more money off of you long term, with these guys they wanna see you happy & satisfied. Which is what I am thank you so much guys. I can vouch for their service & shop 1000% Thank You Verrazano Motorworks. This is a very happy & satifsed customer - "S.A" read more

Having recently moved to New York, I had been looking for a BMW shop to establish with. To provide some background information, I own a 2007 E92 335i (N54 engine) and 2009 E92 328i (N52 engine), both of which I custom ordered from Germany and have owned since 3 miles on the odometer. I am extremely particular regarding the work performed on my car. My 2007 335i is almost track ready; I have performed most of the work on it myself, maintenance and modding included, and have always been present for any work not performed by me. Having said that, due to my job and new responsibilities, I no longer have the time to perform the work myself, yet I am just as enthusiastic about my car hobby and being a gearhead. Luigi and Eddie have proven time and time again how meticulous they are and their strong work ethic. I have brought both of my BMWs to them for routine maintenance and modding. Verrazano Motorworks is the only shop I would wholeheartedly trust to work on any one of my cars without being personally present. Their display of professionalism, efficiency, and diligence is exemplary. I highly, highly recommend them for any mechanical work, for any car, and in particular, German imports. read more

I want to first start of by thanking the guys over at Verrazano Motoworks for the awesome work they did on my BMW. I was referred to Luigi and Eddie from a long time customer of theirs and was a little nervous about anybody but BMW doing any work on my car. I first had some hoses replaced and they did excellent work on my vehicle. Some time later my engine started leaking and needed work done immediately. Luigi told me it was going to be a tough job however he pulled out the engine and fixed the issue and now my car is running like new. He was very fair with the pricing which was a sigh of relief because anyone who owns a BMW knows that once the warranty expires that is when the expenses start. I recommend anyone not sure of an issue they are having to pop in and let Luigi or Eddie take a look and give you their honest opinion. These guys are the best and I can't forget about you John as well thanks again for everything. See you for my next service! read more

I work hard for my money and look for the best value when purchasing goods or services. That said, I have on occasion made a purchase that needed some TLC. Luigi, Eddie, and John at Verrazano Motorworks have bailed me out when purchasing a couple of old BMW's and bringing them back to life for me. Case in point.. i just received back from them my somewhat rare 1988 E28 M5 that was in need of refreshing and some restorative work. i wish i could post some photos so i could show you all what a beautiful a job they did! From a complete interior refresh to wiring, coolant issues, suspension work, refurbishment of the front air dam an lower fog lights, and many more bits.. the results have been nothing short of amazing - and all at a reasonable cost far surpassing the quote i received from a well known BMW shop in Ohio - Thank you Luigi, Eddie and John for your continued excellent service and customer care - as always! read more

Best shop in the Tri-State area for BMW work, bar none. Luigi, has decades of experience as a BMW mechanic with an impeccable reputation. I've been taking my cars to him for over 15 years dating back to when he was still with BMW, I only trust him and his guys with my ///M cars. their prices are always exactly what I expect and the work is always top notch. Brought my X5M to them recently with electrical issues, they had my car back to me fixed, with a detailed receipt.... the same day. NO SURPRISES. BMW dealer wanted the same amount of $$ just to diagnose the issue! I'm on Bimmerpost, StatenEye if you want to PM me for more details about my experiences with Luigi and Verrazano Motorworks, which includes suspension modification and repair, multiple electrical repairs, major turbo repair on an F10 M5.. just to name a few.. trust me when I say Luigi his shop have saved me on several occasions. read more

I have owned my 2002 BMW 330xi for 15 years and in that time I have had numerous difficulties with auto repair shops: some have insufficient experience, some are hard to communicate with, some drastically overcharge, and some do all of the above. For the first time, I have found a motor shop that has first-rate knowledge and expertise, whose liaison is easy to understand, and that charges a decent rate for work. I found Verrazano Motorworks through a Google search and agree heartily with the high reviews it has earned on Yelp. I came looking to bring my BMW up to standards, and Luigi walked me through all the specs on the car, informing me I have a vehicle recall, and predicting, based on my mileage, that certain things will need replacing imminently. Verrazano Motorworks charges good prices and gives expert registered repair. I will definitely be returning here. read more

Nice to see a business with great customer service and integrity. Listen up ladies (and men too)! But this is for the ladies! Are you looking for a place that to bring your car that won't RIP you off. Bring it to Verrazano Works. On top of being cute, the guys here are honest and professional. I highly recommend them for whatever car you are driving. I've been coming to this location since before VB arrived when it was Model Garage to get my personal and work car serviced. Charlie was and still is top notch. An Old fashion honest mechanic. And the tradition continues with Verrazano Works. Being ripped off is my number 1 fear when getting anything fix as a women. You don't have to worry about that here. I've stop taking my 2010 Cadillac SRX to the dealer since I started coming here. Might keep it on the road a few more years now. read more

Luigi, John and Eddie are nice guys. I recently brought my Honda Pilot in for a repair on the actuator that controls the auto lock on the drivers door. The bolts were in tight and they couldn't get them out so they tried to pound them loose with a hand held sledge hammer, they were still in and now the bolts were chopped up and the door jam was all banged in and I was unable to open the door from inside I had to open the door by opening the window and use the outside handle, I was told now that I needed a door latch (due to there work) that would be an additional $127. Dollars. The out come was I now needed body work and the door jam be painted. Not even an apology, sorry I am now a lost customer. I should have been compensated for the body work and not charged for the door latch that they damaged. read more

I absolutely love the professionalism, quality of work, and most of all the affordability of Verrazano Motorworks the guys are Very polite, friendly and dependable. My boyfriend was having a few problems with his BMW and is constantly bragging about these guys so I wanted to see for myself what the fuss was about and I couldn't be more pleased with the impeccable service & treatment that customers receive. These guys do GREAT WORK and are willing to work with you as well as keep in contact with you along every step of the way. My vehicle broke down in the area.. I searched for mechanic shop near by and Verrazano Motorworks was on top of the search, I gave them a call and explain my situation, they arranged a tow for me and explain the issue with detail. I needed my vehicle as soon as possible and they guys promised me they would have the car done for me by the end of next business day, sure enough next day I got a call telling me that my vehicle was completed, when I got to the shop my vehicle was in perfect running conditions and CLEAN!!! They guys there are truly amazing and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to BMWs... I highly recommend anyone that needs repairs done to their vehicle!! read more

I found this shop through word of mouth through a trusted friend. They were completely professional and confident in their work. Luigi and John were a pleasure to deal with , and along with Luigis knowledge and years of experience with BMW is paramount to his work. Their scheduling and service was extremely courteous to my needs. I had driven from eastern long island to get said service on my 2006 BMW X3.. All I have to say that I was more than satisfied with the service and I will always make the long journey back "over the bridge and through the belt to Verrazano Motorworks I go ". read more

Verrazano Motorworks is a top notch auto repair shop. But, unlike most people who have reviewed them, I don't have a BMW. My 2008 Acura TL was in need of major work, after a mishap that resulted in a bent frame, tire rods, and a steering problem. John was very helpful in his advice regarding the repair, and Luigi and his crew did a terrific job repairing my much loved car, at a reasonable cost. They went above and beyond, even repairing some damage to my rims. They are polite and respectful and worked in an efficient manner. I highly recommend them. read more

It is so hard to find good mechanics now a day BUT I am definitely pleased that I found Verrazano Motorworks. These guys are good honest mechanics who provided me with same day service/repair. They understood this was my only car and did their best to service the car and get it back to me same day. I am new to the BMW car game and these guys explained to me what they were seeing wrong with the car and fixed it with no issues. Great communication and service. I am definitely a returning customer. Thank You Verrazano Motorworks!!!! (Idris) read more

I had an issue with my 435i bmw. Had it at the bmw dealership in edison. There was a problem with my transmission. Drove the car to the dealership and had it towed out ecause they couldn't fix it. That same day I found out about verrazano motorworks and had it towed straight from the dealer. It took them only a couple of days to diagnose and fix the problem that same week. Their prices are fair and do follow up with everything they do while the car is being worked on. They are very professional and do an amazing job. read more

I was looking for a shop to fix the engine on my Mercedes. Every time I took it to the Mercedes dealership they always had terrible service and I was always overcharged. After finding Verrazano Motorworks, I made an appointment and they took me in right away. Very intelligent people who know what they are doing. They took very good care of me and the price was the fairest I've ever seen in my 50 years of life. Definitely recommend if you want your cars the best hands possible! read more

I've been using Verrazano's services from the day they opened and I must say their customer service surpasses any other mechanic shop or dealership that I ever used. Just their knowledge of BMW and Mercedes is amazing. But the same holds true to all makes and models. I have turned more people on to Verrazano and each one has nothing but great things to say. Luigi, Eddie and John are professionals in every aspect. I highly recommend Verazano as your one stop mechanic. read more

If you are looking for a dependable neighborhood shop, this is the place you want to go to. I was having trouble with the brakes my Volvo and took it here to have it checked out. Luigi and John were very friendly and couldn't have been more knowledgeable about their trade. The service was performed quickly and excellently, for a great price also. They saved me money and a trip to the dealership. I would highly recommend them for any and all automotive needs! read more

Was having some issues with my 2007 BMW 325i, brought it to many shops they could not figure out what was wrong with it. Friend of mine referred me to Luigi at Verrazano motor works. He and his partner were very knowledgeable, and were able to diagnose the issue that day. Had my car back to me the very next day, quick and affordable. Even had my wife's Audi's brakes serviced there as well. Definitely recommend and will be servicing my cars there from now on! read more

I really can't say enough good things about this shop.. Luigi is a phenomenal mechanic who is honest, fair and does exemplary work. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Verrazano Motorworks and they have earned a customer for life in me. I would highly recommend this shop for all cars not just the German variety. If you want the job done right the first time, bring your car here! I would give 6 stars but the most Yelp lets me put is 5.. read more
