This used to be my favorite place to go two when I was pregnant to get strawberries and cream. They closed for a while and reopened. Was excited to go back and get some strawberries and cream. Idk what I was given but it wasn't strawberries and cream. It looks like strawberries in milk ? And it's got a cinnamon taste to it. Normally I'd just eat it but even the granola is mushy. I just walked out and got in the car and was excited to take a bite and this isn't strawberries and cream. Super disappointed. For 10$+ change & tax I will not be going back. Plus they don't even cut the strawberries fresh it was sitting in a cup in their fridge and the guy just grabbed it out. Who knows how long it's been there for. I came here to support Latin businesses, and I wanted to like it, but I was disappointed. Our party of 5 thought the ice cream flavors were simply "okay". I also ordered nachos--the cheese was cold and the chips tasted stale. The guy at the front didn't seem friendly, which didn't make our experience memorable. I wouldn't recommend this ice cream place, though I think it has potential. I'd like for them to deliver better quality for the prices they charge. Id also like for the pictures to match or be close to match what the customer receives--I find them misleading. I really hate giving such a low rating but I have to be honest. I ordered an esquite (corn in a cup) the menu showed $2.99 but I was charged $4.99. When I got rung up I pointed it out and she did apologize & explained that the sign was incorrect but that they needed to open up shop and had not fixed it. I was like ok I normally pay that price elsewhere anyways. I walked back to work & tasted it & it was nasty!!! Wayyy too much mayonnaise and the corn was bland and overcooked. I am not one to return items and make a scene a I just chalked it up to a learning experience. Now I know to just stick with La Michoacana on Sanderson. Their yogurt topping area was very minimal.
