Holy cow, Veronica was a lifesaver and an amazing coordinator. We didn't think we would need that much help, but I am VERY glad we had her on our team. Even with our pretty low maintenance preferences, tons came up that needed to be done in the crunch time before the wedding. Veronica was there to make it all happen. She had every detail covered before I even thought of it. She had tools and systems that were super helpful and it was very obvious that she has seen it all and is a seasoned expert. She was incredibly professional, super responsive and communicative, she cared about our preferences and worked with us to make the wedding what we wanted. There were lots of details that I didn't have strong opinions on and in the leadup to the wedding I was busy with work and getting overwhelmed. In the end, there were a bunch of details where we left decisions up to Veronica's and Paolo's good judgement (e.g., ceremony setup style, the look of the tables for dinner, decorations around the dance floor, etc), and everything turned out beautifully. She has an eye for design on top of being incredibly efficient and making everything run smoothly. I didn't have to worry about any of the logistics on the day of because she had it all covered. All the many moving parts ran smoothly thanks to her gentle but firm nudging of all our vendors and (when needed) guests to get people in the right place. When one activity ran too long, but it was important to us that we finish the tradition, Veronica was flexible and shifted easily to accommodate our wishes. The wedding was a huge success and we couldn't have done it without her. She also saved the day in the weeks before the wedding by dealing with the nightmarish last minute demands of our venue. She took the stress out of wedding planning and made it easy to enjoy the day worry free. I would 100% highly highly recommended Veronica and her team to anyone getting married or planning any kind of event. On top of everything, her rates were very reasonable and after actually working with her, her skills are easily worth double what she charges. It's taken me way too long to write this review! Our event was perfect and Veronica really saved the day!! Telling you all about her has been on my to-do list for a while. People still comment on our upscale Sunday afternoon BBQ, thanks to her expert planning and design. Plus, Veronica is a lovely person to work with! We feel really lucky to have been referred to her by our contractor. A little more about our experience with this company: Back in October 2017, my husband and I needed help pulling together an event for 80+ people at the last minute after our schedule got too complicated to manage all of the moving parts of a party on top of our new home being heavily renovated on a tight timeline. Desperate for anyone to help, we asked our fantastic home contractor if he happened to know any party planners with design sense who'd be as wonderful as he's been. Fortunately, he referred us to Veronica! Within hours of our call, she was at our home making suggestions about where to place the caterers, what rentals we needed where, flowers, colors, bar services and valet. These were all elements we hadn't even fully considered yet so it was all overwhelming. However, Veronica stepped in and did a quick job of organizing all of our vendors and sourcing additional resources needed for the event which was happening in less than a week. She also collaborated with our contractor to ensure the important deck renovations would be complete in time for the rentals to be placed in advance of the event. On the day of the party, our home and backyard was transformed into a magical place where our guests would surely feel comfortable and relaxed. Veronica was there to direct the rental placements the night before and the morning of, and she was an efficient leader to all of the staff on top of being a welcoming presence for guests. It's easy for me to get stuck in the role of helper at our parties but with Veronica there managing everything seamlessly, I had my hands completely free and was able to fully focus on friends, family, colleagues and neighbors. This experience blew us away. We were very fortunate that Veronica was available to help us on such short notice and that her rate was very reasonable. But, even more impressively, we have never worked with any single party planner who's been the whole package like she's proven to be. Veronica has immaculate taste, an easy-going personality with a problem solving, organized, design-oriented and level-headed approach to her work. In the past we've been happy to get even some of these qualities in a planner, but I think it's rare to find one individual who has it all and Veronica is that person. We planned a last minute micro-wedding with my fiance and contacted Veronica to take care of the organization as well as to officiate our ceremony. We were clueless in the beginning but Veronica took her time to answer all the questions we had in detail. She made us very comfortable with the process and was very transparent from the beginning. Veronica is a very thorough and detailed wedding planner and event planner. She also is really good at designing an event which is more than just planning it. That includes the lighting, colors and even down to the scent! I never knew that this could make a difference but it really does. She wrote a a great book on planning your own DIY event and it is great for those who cannot afford to invest in a planner! The book is called "How to plan and design a celebration of a lifetime" I bought the book and I strongly recommend it for anyone. I have learned so much from it. I don't even know where to start with how talented and amazing Veronica is. The first event she did for me was my wedding in June 13' at the LA police Academy. I learned very quickly after getting engaged planning weddings will make you want to cry, murder and throw dishes at people and walls. I couldn't handle it and Veronica was a God send! She handled the entire thing from coordinating the vendors, running the day of, getting all the decorations everything. I was working full time and going to school so she was amazing about not calling me too often and when she did it was just yes/no questions, super easy and stress free. Complete day and night from what I was going though when I was trying to do it on my own. Day of was crazy but it ran flawlessly. She's a total sweetheart but will also go bulldog on any vendor that isn't doing their job up to standard. Most recently she did my graduation party in which I wanted Alice and Wonderland theme. Thank goodness I called her because with her help the party was a raging success and on budget. She created the most elegant bar set up just using white curtains that glowed under the black light and she also made a glowing Cheshire cat for over the bar, card men, as well as a life sized Alice in wonderland door. Not only is a she a planner but an artist too. The decorations were fantastic and I couldn't believe how she was able to take things from the dollar store and make them look like super expensive and elegant decorations. Things I certainly never would of thought of. I drank way to much at this party and was dreading going back there today to see how badly the place was trashed. I got there and the place was spotless! I couldn't believe she took the time to make decorations, set up, run the event, coordinate the vendors and clean up while I was passed out on the floor somewhere. She's the real deal and the total package and is worth any price. I can't speak highly enough of her and any event I'll ever have she will be behind it. :) read more
