When I decided to do a gender reveal party for my last baby, it was important to me that I would find out what the gender was with my family and friends at the SAME time - which is why I wanted to go with the balloon popping route... Even though it was going to be costly (Melissa quoted me $140), I decided to go with Melissa because she was the only vendor who said that an ivory balloon was doable (all other vendors I asked said they could only do black because the pink or blue confetti/mini balloons inside would be see through). So when I asked Melissa about an ivory balloon and she said that was doable, I trusted her... I even asked her once before I sealed the deal (out of hesitation and my gut from all of the other vendors saying they could only do a black balloon) if the confetti inside would be see-through and she reassured me it wouldn't be. I regret trusting her and should've followed my gut. Melissa comes on the day of my gender reveal party, with the ivory balloon, which is totally see-through. The blue inside couldn't be more obvious. What sucked was as soon as everyone walked through my door, the first comment they made was "we can see the blue inside..." - so to say my gender reveal party, which is supposed to be a special, sweet, and truly once in a lifetime moment was ruined by Melissa and her ignorance.. is an understatement. Horrible customer service, with her ungroomed dog running around matted up and all smelly, she nickel and dimes her clients, she doesn't give any type of discount on repeat clients, she will charge you to the penny. I told her I needed 3 letter balloons blown up and she never charged me for that so it was her mistake not mine and she still wanted to charge me for her error which I don't think was right when she was the one who screwed up. My total was $101.43 and she wouldn't even just let me pay $100 flat. She shouldn't be in business if she doesn't have the right attitude and etiquette period. And she has a smart ass mouth. This will be my last time using her services that's for sure. She isn't the only person in town with reasonable prices.... you should try fixing your attitude. You catch more bees with honey... Next time you should admit your own mistake and be courtesy enough to honor if not a full discount at least a piece of a discount when I paid you days ago in full and you're the one who messed up on your math. I mean as long as it took you to write out the invoice I would have thought you triple checked your math. Admit when you're wrong and instead of falling under grass, put your big girl panties on and take your $15 loss next time for you not doing your numbers properly. And don't advertise free delivery when you gave me a hard time coming to downtown LA for my $100 order when I had no problem paying you. Maybe you need to hire some drivers if you don't do downtown deliveries where you can accommodate more clients and provide a better service.
