My family camped for the weekend, no RV , just tents and a boat and we had a great time!We were given a shady grass area that accommodates several tents , and a boat slip to slip the boat making my hubby very happy! The couple that lives onsite and manages the campground ,after only two days , I feel like family!Tracy is kind and gracious .Her husband is just gruff enough to keep the drinkers in line lol.NOT AN EASY JOB! Workers been on break for who knows how long now. The sign on the door says they'll be back by 12. I've been waiting for 15 mins after 12 and still nobody. What a joke. They are open and the place looks great. The ramp is free of silt and completely useable. It looks like they will have a small snack shop soon as well. Staff was very friendly. read more

Boat ramp is junk the casino purchased this property doubling ramp fees. There not keeping it in safe condition.The dock is in terrible condition. Be careful the launch is shallow Difficult to get out without hitting bottom. They are not even adjusting the dock so you have very little dock to get your boat off . read more

Nice location. Quiet. Clean bathrooms. I make a run on my skis from here to Old Sacramento. It's the perfect distance. The water at the boat launch moves a little faster then most locations but it's easy to handle if you take your time. read more

When I look it up on google, it indicates "shinglespringsrancheria.com" as the address (Miwok Indian Tribe) and that the marina is "permanently closed". Sad to see this happen. I wonder where they'll put the slot machines :-( read more

Amazing place since Shingle Springs Band of Indians have acquired the property. It is now very clean, and is now a safe place to catch salmon, stripper and just enjoy the property. There is no camping anymore but that is plus because it keeps the water clean and squatters away. Closed for the season due to drought conditions but I was informed when water rises the boat launch will be available. read more

My husband an I stayed out there last summer July thru Jan it was real nice people friendly we had to leave because of flooding ! We came back in April stayed for two weeks we can notice things were changing out there now there rude only can stay for two weeks leave for a week come back stay another 2weeks and the rate went up and now if u don't have a new rv your told to get one then u can come back ! So I don't kno what happened out there but it's not the same it's to bad I really miss it out there bugs and all ! read more

The grounds are nice, the owners are low class. They don't keep up on the facilities at all and take advantage of groups camping there. The man is rude and being a long time camper of the place means nothing to him. I have a lot of friends and family I encouraged to go there over the past four years...I am now going to discourage everyone I know and meet . read more

Visited here over the weekend as a guest on a friends fishing boat. The whole place was very clean and in good repair, lots of neat and clean parking, the ramps made boat launching a snap, they were centrally located to some great places to fish. The boat launch and parking fees seemed reasonable. Their front office currently looks a little like a partially abandoned trailer? However it was the only less-than-well-kept place in whole place.I couldn't find the bathrooms, but the showers seemed nice and clean. It is a place I will definitely go back to for the facilities. I think I hit a bad day with people though? The older gentleman in the front office, well he wasn't hostile or overtly rude, but we were dying for information on fishing, the facilities, the pictures on the wall (of giant fish) and I think we hit a day when he had had just about enough of people, so we got one-word cryptic answers and tired stares.. Everyone is entitled to a bad day, it was a shame that is what I am going to remember as my first experience though, I would have given it 4-stars for the facilities. I will absolutely go back, I didn't go there for personality, I went for the facilities, which are top notch for the Delta! read more

Wow what a find. We wanted to take our new camping trailer out for the first time, but did not want to go far. We had launched the boat here before, but never noticed the beautiful little campground next to it. This was such an amazing experience. So much so that I am hesitant to write this review and tell people about it. Their was so much room for our kiddos to run around far away from the water, electricity hook ups, water access (well when there is water to access), and beautiful scenery. One thing to know before you go to camp is that there are limited tables available for the camp sites and no fire pits or barbecues. read more

I checked in at the office via telephone and internet this a.m. Saturday memorial day week end . No reply from the e-mail and the aswer machine was an unclear recording so I called back 2 more times finally got a live person and he was very helpful and by the way there are no more liveaboards allowed on the Sacramento river due to pollution unless you have a fixed sewer hook up . Thanks for the info . The marina however from the pics. on the net looked well kept and clean . but no serious live a boards anywhere on the river . Thank you environmentalists for screwing up all of our rights and freedoms. read more

Love this place! You know, it isn't your KOA or your fancy Wifi enabled RV park. But is is a great place to get away for the weekend close to home, which feels millions of miles away! RV hookups, showers, camp grounds, pet friendly, launch ramp for your boat and fishing!!! Awesome! Staff is friendly and nice (couple owned) and they are very "laxed" and laid back but attentative and professional at the same time. This place is close to "Swabbies on the river" which if you don't know is also pet friendly outdoor bar/restaurant right on the river that always has live music bonfires and fun events. This place is also so close to city limits that you can still get yourself an Uber to go to and from a bar or restaurant if you really wanted to. We Uber to Swabbies all the time so we don't drink and drive back to the RV park, this place is fantastic. We come here with our friends to have a good time and relax without having to drive hours and hours and hours away. I read in other reviews that people say the owners are low class. Maybe what some people need to understand is that when you run an RV park and have a full-time RV park lifestyle you don't have to wear a suit and tie all the time, board shorts flip-flops and T-shirts and a ball cap are just fine with me and I do not think that's low class at all especially when you're as professional as they actually are read more
