My friend and I shopped our hearts out and give this place our highest seal of approval. That's saying alot because we are the divas of bargain hunting! Although the footprint is small it's packed with great stuff without feeling cramped or congested. All the displays are artfully arranged and the inventory current, clean, in style, and cheap! Look up - the orginal, ornate ceiling is so cool! The entire store has a fun, glamorous feel definitely aimed towards the fashion conscience woman. While they had plenty of clothes in junior sizes they also carried larger sizes like L and XL too. Some of our favorite scores: The $1 rack full of brand name clothes for all sizes from last season, all priced at only a $1 each The .50 cent (yes you read that right, or 3 for $1!!) small travel size roll on bottles of name brand ladies cologne (Elizabeth Arden, etc) The REAL, authenticated leather PRADA purse we saw from a season or two ago in pristine condition for $17! The one of a kind beaded fringe necklace I scored for $8.95, not to mention the other cool, trendy jewelry sprinkled throughout the boutique like art. In addition to clothing, they carry name brand perfumes (larger bottles in addition to the travel roll on size) shoes galore (all like new!), purses, scarfs, and accessories. There's two dressing rooms as well. Street parking is meter free. The concept (we learned from the sales girl) is the owner does buy outs from customers like us, carefully selecting and pricing items accordingly for resale. While I don't know how much you get as a seller I'm told she pays cash on the spot or you can get double the worth in store credit. Your choice. If you text PINUP to 57711 you'll get a one time 20% coupon! Despite the distance of an hour and a half one way this shop will be added to our thrifting rotation on the regular.

After several precious minutes, they came back and said they had it in stock. I told them I could get there by 6:05pm and we really needed it. She said, so sorry we will be closed. So off to Wal Mart I went. Imagine the loyalty the employee could have created if she had told me they would wait?? So the next time, and going forward I will simply drive to Wal Mart for the same bad customer service, but at least they will be open. Small businesses complain about the locals not supporting them. This is why. A loyal customer turned away when we really needed the item. So Wal Mart it is. All the best to Weavers.

I don't know where to begin! I visited this store in March 2021 while I (and a small group) was…read morespending a few days near Lewisburg. I primarily collect military antiques but my girlfriend was in the market for a vintage necklace so we popped in as it appeared they had some jewelry. Turns out they have a fantastic selection of antique/vintage jewelry and watches. The owners (Lucie and Barry) were kind, helpful and very knowledgeable. They have an amazing selection of vintage pieces and their prices are reasonable. My girlfriend and her sister bought several pieces of jewelry and I walked away with an awesome, art-deco wristwatch and Civil War belt buckle! The watch I picked out needed to be serviced so Barry did the work and then mailed it to me a few weeks later. It works and looks fantastic. While relatively small, they do have an assortment of smaller antiques but most of their inventory is jewelry/wristwatches. We went to the store three times in four days and we hope to go back next time we are in the area!

Barry and wife are very friendly, helpful and especially good on watch repair, watch history and watch inventory. Barry keeps an impressive collection of classic watches on hand, the kind of dependable time pieces you've not seen in decades, from the 50', 40's and more. This store is a must visit in Lewisburg for items you won't see anywhere else, items you loved once upon a time, but have forgotten about. As you browse at your leisure with no pressing salesman hanging over you, it's likely you'll find something small or large that you just have to have. And prices are more than reasonable. This is the kind of shop that any town would be proud to have, owned and operated by some very nice people.

In all, we bought some apple dumplings, fudge, a desk (which was priced very well), and a few bottles of wine. Annie and Miss Betty were so wonderful to chat with, and the gentleman at Edelholz and the guys moving the antiques in were very nice, too! They were also having a rummage sale in what usually is the greenhouse (but is closed for the season) and my husband found a beer growler to add to his collection. It seems like they have a lot of stuff constantly coming in for the antiques section so it may be worth a second look. It's definitely worth a stop and is one of those places where you could spend either a few minutes (if you know what you're stopping for) or an hour or so (if you are just browsing)! All in all, I'd recommend stopping!

I stopped in at Special Occasion just to browse one day and saw the same dress and designer. She began speaking to my daughter and she gave an even better price than originally quoted. We ordered the dresses in February and in by May. She called us and we picked them up. Since the girls were from several states they took care of their own alterations and steaming. The wedding is approaching soon and Trudy called to ask if everything was ok with the dresses and if we were satisfied. I told her yes and Thanks so much for working with us and keeping in the budget. The store is a small shop in a small town. So it is not a fancy high pressure store. But if you want personal attention and someone that will work with the bride in a personal way they this is a good place to go.

I got the recommendation from a coworker who knew a local bride that actually used Trudy for her alterations without a hitch. At this cozy store filled with prom and bridesmaid dresses, I first met Trudy who was super friendly and welcoming. I called ahead to make sure it was okay to come in. It's a good thing to call ahead because I later found out that she is the only person who runs the store! Don't forget to bring the shoes you will be wearing so she can get the length right. I brought in my wedding dress three months before my June wedding to make sure she had ample time to work on it and I would not be going crazy with last minute details. She dove right in and took note of what I needed done and pinned the places that needed to be hemmed. She gave me an estimated date of when I should expect a call from her. She had one of those big desk calendars to keep her straight and saw her pencil me in for a scheduled call. I left the shop and felt like I was in good hands and marked my calendar as well. It was the week of (beginning of May) when I was supposed to expect her call, which also had been the same month as prom season. Trudy had not followed up with me yet. I gave her a call during business hours and it always rang enough times for me to leave a message. I finally left a message after days of trying, gave her the weekend to get back to me, but still no call the week after that. I finally called some weekday and got her. By this time, it was the end of May. She explained to me that she was very busy with wedding season starting and prom season in full swing. I was holding back my anger and tried pressing her with questions of when she would call me back for the second fitting. She assured me that it would get done. She looked and asked what my wedding date was and said that she had plenty of time to have it done by then. She asked me when I would like to come in next, so I told her what would work for me. By this point I was so frustrated with what she saw was miscommunication, which was really a delay in contact. A nice heads up would have been nice to know that she did not forget about me. I kept contemplating on taking it to another place but with limited amount of time and her already knowing what I wanted, I did not and could not find a place that would take my dress because I bought it elsewhere. Let me tell ya, I did not get my dress back until THREE DAYS before the wedding. Good thing I had off a week before my wedding AND I was in town. My wedding was not held locally, so the fact that I had these days off were helpful. Brides, beware! I noticed this is how she works. My coworker who is getting married is experiencing the same thing. She is getting married next weekend, she came in SIX MONTHS before her big day, she experienced the no callback, the trying to get a hold of her, and also her groom and groomsmen's stuff was not even ordered yet. Their stuff should be arriving...hmmm, let's see...THREE DAYS before the wedding! Not to mention, these guys were measured FOUR MONTHS before her big day. Way to make a bride worry! The exciting upside is that her prices are great! Got my extremely difficult lace dress length shortened, bustle created, adjusted straps (that had tiny beads on it), bra cups sewn in, and other minor things all for under $100! She even did a last minute hem on my brother's pants for the wedding for five bucks! Love iiiiit. I honestly wish the best to her, but making a bride worry like this is too stressful!
