It's been since August 2009 that I've been meaning to write this review. Words can't describe my…read moreheartfelt experience with Curly and his courier service in Vermont. It all started with having to catch an unexpected, last minute EARLY flight outta Boston to SFO, (crack of dawn early), meaning that I was left in a dilemma of having to spend the night in the BOS airport. That night, the plan was to get me to the Boston airport from Marlboro Vermont, (an hour's drive away). When I explained the situation, Curly went out of his way to take me to a local hotel in Brattelboro, VT, (last minute), negotiated a rate with the hotel, and rearranged his next morning's entire schedule so that he could come for me at the crack of dawn so that I could make my flight. Curly is retired and has this courier business as a way to continue to provide for his family and his just out of the hospital sick wife. So, when he rearranged his entire morning's schedule, (including "dressing and feeding his wife her breakfast because she was too sick to do for herself just yet"), I was speechless. He said that he "just couldn't live with himself knowing that a young lady was sleeping in an airport on his watch." Aaaahh [insert warm fuzzies here]. I love Vermont men :). The next morning he came for me right on the dot, helped me to load my big fat suitcases once again back into the car, gave me fresh juice and snacks, and feed my soul with his stories filled with sincerity about life, love, and the pursuit of happiness. It was only an hour and a half that I spent with him, but that was an hour I'd never forget. Thank you Curly for your genuine concern about my well-being, and opening up to share life's lessons with this 31yo. I loved Vermont, but I fell in love with Vermont even more so after meeting Curly. This could have been just another car ride, but this turned into an experience that has touched my heart forever. TY Curly from the bottom of my heart. FYI: His real name is Lynton "Curly" Worden, President. Fully Insured.
