Do not come here. This is a franchise owned by a third party. There is a corporate store down University in Davie. (Would give 0 stars if I could) Went to upgrade my phone which is on a 2 year payment plan. Had my old phone for over 2 years, knowing I owed nothing in it. They tried to tell me I had to pay $300 to pay off the phone to upgrade it. After seeing that I was confused and calling Verizon myself, they quickly back tracked and told me I never had to pay the $300, only the upgrade fee. I was helped my Lamour, who told me at that point that all I owed was the tax on the new phone which was $175. It was not $175, he had secretly added in an extra $80 by putting a phone case and screen protector on my phone. I did not ask for nor agree to this, I assumed he was throwing it in for free since we had bought him lunch. Unfortunately, I did not check the receipt until I got home. This wasn't a big deal, though the next scam the pulled on us was. My boyfriend also upgraded my phone and was offered an iPad at no extra cost. He made sure to ask that he would owe NOTHING extra. They secretly added a cellular plan on it, an extra $10 a month on his bill. When we realized, we went back to the store to return the iPad. We had thrown out the box (our fault) thinking there was no need for it. They said they would not take the iPad back without the box (understandable), but told him in order to cancel the service he would have to buy out the iPad for $510. Keep in mind, Lamour assured him this iPad would cost NOTHING extra. I'm not sure if it's the store or this specific associate, but if you're coming here, be sure to not take anything that is offered to you as they will scam you the second you are kind to them. The entire sales pitch to trade in my original phone was convincing, but flawed with inaccuracies... I was misinformed about their trade-in promotional value for my iPhone at the time; I was misinformed when told that my monthly cost would be lower for the same services I had been receiving; I was not made aware of additional costs that I received a bill for after the trade-in. A couple of months after, I had to argue for almost two hours during a phone conversation, thankfully with a competent and understanding representative, to finally get my monthly bill down to what it was before the trade-in. I am very grateful to that representative for all of his effort, time, and valuable assistance! Everything before that, in my opinion, felt like a nightmare! read more

She is disorganized and apparently monthly payments are cheaper than full value. She was not knowledgable and I was doing my research on what she says and disagree. It is important to note that this location is an "AUTHORIZED DEALER" which means they are not a corporate Verizon store! Taking a trip to any wireless store could be stressful. I've had my share of walking out of Verizon's disappointed. Not with this location....! From the moment I walked in I was greeted by all 4 employees and they all had customers! I went in to upgraded my daughter's phone and it was a successful trip. They were helpful in finding the right products for us and even assisted us in getting a $120 credit on my new purchase. I couldn't have left there happier. Oh yea wait, there was no wait. They were fast and professional. Very odd for that to happen at a cellular store. Only downside is since they are an authorized dealer and not a corporate store, they don't have many phones/products on display. Means you can't really play with the phone you want to purchase and try it out. Also if you want to see the phone before you buy for example check out the colors of the iPhone, they cannot take out of the box. So you kind of have to use your best judgment and already have the product in mind that you want to buy. Besides that all employees were professional and I will definitely be back for a future purchase. Parking was simple and available in the shopping plaza. read more

I am giving them 5 stars. I went to this location to buy a new phone and They all helped me with all I needed and transferred all my data from an Old flip phone which was not easy. Oscar G. was able to transfer all of my data And really took time to make sure all was transferred. John and Nicholas P and John F. explained the functions of the phone and sold it to me and Set up the account and explained all of the account info.. Jeffry Snyder helped me with accessories and explained functions And answered many questions I had to ask. This team was great and I was super pleased with the service. They took a lot of time with me and were very patient. They deserved 10 stars. Just remember when you go you must be patient as it takes some time to buy a new phone or solve a problem. Also it is a busy store. I would recommend this store over all of the other Verizon stores. They are extremely knowledgeable and work together to help the customer. Go to any other verizon dealer! LITERALLY any other! Went here ordered a new s10+, prepaid for a screen protector. It was the weekend and they assured me it would arrive by tuesday and I would recieve a call. Its been two weeks and no call. I called them and was left on hold for OVER 20 minutes while they "checked" to see if any were there. I finally was able to talk to someone by calling repeatedly from a different phone. They then informed they didnt have any and were unsure of when they would recieve more and could not do anything further. HOW ABOUT A PHONE CALL? MAYBE AN EMAIL? Basically ANY form of communication to inform me of the updates on my product. Due to the lack of communication and customer service I will not be returning to this location. read more

This is a cumulative review for two separate visits. It is important that I note that this location is an "AUTHORIZED DEALER" which means they are not a corporate Verizon store! 1/29 - After visiting the Coral Springs (corporate Verizon store) location the previous week to upgrade my phone and service I came to the Plantation store with the hopes that they would have a Samsung Note 5, specifically in white. I called the previous day to several area stores and no store location had this phone so I planned on just upgrading to an iPhone 6s. When my dad and I arrived to this location we were greeted by Kevin and Erickson; very friendly and really wanted to help. Great salesmen! After mentioning that I was looking for the Samsung phone but was just going to get an iPhone instead, Kevin went to the back and just happened to find one saying that it just came in this morning. Lucky me! I proceeded to upgrade my iPhone to the new Samsung Note device which for some reason took over two hours to complete. I had already upgraded my plan when I visited the Coral Springs store the previous week so I'm not sure why the process of just upgrading my phone took so incredibly long. At some point during this process there was an "issue" on their end which had to be remedied. After speaking with Verizon Customer service a week later it appears that they really screwed up my account and even they were confused as to what they did. After the extremely long wait I finally left seemingly happy with my new "impossible to get" phone. Kevin, William, and Erickson were all very nice and accommodating during this visit (which I would have rated 4 stars) with the exception that they couldn't transfer all my contacts over to my new phone and only gave me $80 for my iPhone 5s trade in while my parents received $120 for the same phone trade in at the corporate Coral Springs store location. That should have been my initial warning sign. At no point during this visit did they mention that this location was an authorized dealer nor did I see any signage anywhere advertising this. I've been coming to the Plantation store for many years and didn't realize that the actual corporate store location moved to Davie and an authorized dealer opened in the exact same location. Found this information out afterward. Smart... but sneaky. 2/3 - After about 5 days and not being satisfied with my switch over from iPhone to the Samsung device I returned to the Coral Springs store to swap out the phone since I had 14 days to do so. The manager at that location proceeded to tell me that he couldn't help me because I purchased the phone at an authorized dealer. After driving from Coral Springs all the way back to Plantation I told Kevin I wasn't happy with the phone and wanted to switch back to an iPhone device. He seemed less than pleased but at that point I wasn't too happy about wasting another two hours in their store all over again either. This process took yet another two hours to complete. However, I also decided to put my phone number on my parents plan which took a while to process so I can understand the lengthy amount of time on this particular visit. He did exchanged my case and screen cover which I thought was nice but they didn't have as many case and screen cover options as the corporate store location. At the very end when my mom asked to see an overview of all the charges and what we'd all be paying for she noticed that my phone's monthly charge was more than the other three phones on the already on the family plan. Kevin asked if he had given me any rebates or if the phones were on a special sale last week which we replied no. He suggested that we contact Verizon Customer Service to see if they could adjust the pricing since he wasn't sure why it was more. We contacted customer service that same evening and the rep explained to us that an authorized dealer store can technically charge more for the devices monthly charge since they're not a corporate store location as they're basically a privately owned business. As the manger of that store, Kevin absolutely should have known that and been able to tell us why the charge was more. I honestly feel like he told us that so we would leave the store without any arguments. After discovering this information the only way to get out of this would have been to return the phone to them and go back to a corporate store location to buy the phone all over again. Unfortunately, since I already sold them my old iPhone I wouldn't have had a trade in and it would have ended up costing me basically the same monthly payment amount either way. I really feel scammed by this store and their employee's dishonesty. I now have to pay more each month for my new device and was cheated out of a better trade in price for my old phone when they should have been honest and upfront from the very beginning. In the future, I'll definitely make sure that any Verizon store I visit is a corporate store location. Lesson learned. read more

Very professional great customer service my account is secure and service is always reliable

This is a rarity by all means-but every time I have come into this store I've been in dire circumstances and i've been welcomed with open arms. When my phone was stolen at Off the Hookah the night before I was supposed to leave town for Christmas break-I found myself waiting here at 8 am so as not to miss my noon flight. Anticipating the typical 2 hour visit to Verizon I've had in the past, I went in tense. I explained that I had my phone stolen and needed to be out ASAP. I was instantly helped and had a new phone with no plan changes (exactly what I wanted!) in 40 minutes. No problems making my plane. Only now almost 2 years later am I upgrading said phone-it's a tank. Back in March, I went in to just inquire about my plan. On an individual plan that cost around $90, I went in just to ask if there was anything I could do or cut out to save me some money since I'm a student on a budget. Whichever gentleman helped me immediately read my mind and slashed my bill by $30 a month. I was THRILLED. I didn't have to sign anything, upgrade any contracts: NOTHING. So easy-so happy. I always come into these stores expecting to be hassled but this location has exceeded my expectations beyond belief. I haven't had any technical problems with phones so I can't comment on the tech support in this location. But I'll come back here for any issues I do have since I've had good service when I have been. Insider tip: come during business hours (i.e. not after 5 pm and not on the weekend), you're way less likely to get stuck with a line and get a lot better help from the staff. read more

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Verizon. And when I'm in back home (NorCal) customer service is an A+! but Everytime I come here, something is amiss. - There's a line for technical support. - but there's a waiting list that you have to wait for a Rep to write you name and issue down - and there's still the line... - The Technician here (the only Vzn store that has a technician On-Site for MILES around Broward) has the gall to LEAVE the store at exactly 8pm, when there is a line of 4 people still WAITING For their phones to be fixed. I'm sorry, if there is work to be done, can you really just CLOCK out per whatever schedule you have?! (I mean, when i'm at work, if there are patients to be seen, there are patients to be seen! we can't just say "peace out!" and leave?!) UGH!!! Either, this store needs to hire another full time technician, or there needs to be a technician hired at another local store. read more

They were very helpful when upgrading a phone and after that you are on your own! They convinced me I needed to upgrade my brokers phone instead of getting it fixed. Then I needed a diagnostic form filled out for my Amex credit card and they refused. Terrible customer service. read more

This was my second time in this store. I must say both times I have been here, I have had outstanding service. Today I was taken care of by Christopher Meraz and John Owens, both very friendly, professional and extremely helpful to me. I had several questions about my iphone and account features, etc and they both were more than willing to answer each and every question I had thoroughly and they took their time to make sure I understood and it was so wonderful not to feel rushed. DO NOT GO HERE! This store uses deceptive sales practices. I upgraded 3 phones on my account and got a new phone for my daughter. There was a holiday promo going on at the time and I told the sales rep Austin that these were Christmas gifts and asked if I could exchange them if needed. He assured me more than once I could exchange the phones if needed and still get the promo rates. So I went to the store the day after Christmas to exchange my wife's new iPhone 7 for a 7 Plus and at that time Austin tells me if I exchange the phone I would lose the promo rate. He wouldn't do anything me. In addition to the lies about exchanging the phone Austin told me all I had to pay was the taxes and fees for the phones at the time of the upgrade however, I was hit with over $100 in upgrade fees on my phone bill. Never thought Verizon would be so unethical and opportunistic. They scammed me big time. Went in with iPhone 8 after iOS 14 upgrade with issues. Indicated I needed to upgrade phone to resolve issue and he could save me money on a cheaper plan. Transfer of phone data was horrible, took two days of me sitting in the parking lot, wiped out all my passwords and made critical banking and Heath apps not work. 2:30pm until after closing on one day and from opening at 9 til about 3 pm the next day. Yes I listened more to his words than reading the paper. I stood around for Hrs and when he finally was ready for signatures I believed him. So now I have a plan I never wanted and cannot cancel without penalties, bundled items I cannot return or turn off without penalties and I am out over $300 I was not expecting. I love Verizon wireless as my cellular carrier been a loyal customer since 2004. But now Plantation Store #203342 customer service is very poor. Sales Rep (Mike) and Sales Manager (Dewayne) has poor customer service and do not stand by their word as a sales rep & manager I purchased a phone Feb. 09, 2013 Note II with a otter box, after explaining to the rep. I don't want the Grey because of my work it will get dirty I need a black. Mike explained purchase it and then come back on Fri. and he will switch it out. I returned on Friday and they were still out. Now, to bring you up to date. I have went back at least 13 times not to mention text & calling Mike on his personal phone, each time no black otter box. So today I went back to get a credit/refund/gift card so that I could take it to another Verizon to get one. I was informed by Mike as well as the Manager Dewayne that they could not do that because I was pass my 14 day. Not one time did Mike mention that to me. I would have to purchase something in their store IE.. blue tooth, charger or another case. I need an otter box as explained but still Dewayne (sales manager) tuned me out and was rude. I ended up calling customer service (Ellen) and instantly she started working on the issue at hand for me. Needless to say I received credit to my bill and she has mailed a black otter box out to me. Not understanding why they couldn't order one but I think once a sales rep. (Mike) tells you one thing I don't think its right not to stand by your word. *There are over 50 Verizon stores in Broward County. I advise you to spend your hard earned money at a location that will be honest and straight forward. Keep in mind the reps are recieving a healty commission off their sales to customer but are to providing A1 customer service. read more

This is a horrible store and the store manager Brian has an attitude and is terrible at customer service. He gave me attitude about returning a jet pack that I replaced before the hurricane. I do not recommend this store at all and I would only go to a Verizon store from now on because the ones that are authorized dealers do not deliver on the standards of service you expect. read more

Received terrible service at this store, the sales rep (Andreaa) was extremely disrespectful and could not have cared less about my business. She had attitude from the beginning of our interaction and all she offered for solutions was for me to call customer care. Eventually her friend and fellow sales rep (Jackie) involved herself in our conversation when she had no context or knowledge of the situation to try to make me the villain. Went to upgrade my phone. I started off with Andrea who was very helpful. She got pulled away to help one of her regulars but I was handed off to the manager Jonathan and the service was seamless. Great experience. I was the first one in the store at 9 am. It quickly filled up while I was there but it seemed like all of the techs did their best to help everyone in a timely manner. One thing that I liked is that everyone that walked through the door was acknowledged immediately. That goes a long way with me. read more

They are disrespectful to customers and will treat you as if you are a lair and a moron if you go to them with their defective handsets even if the problem is legit. I wish I could give 0 stars! I have never written a review before but my horrible experience at this store prompted me to write. This is by far the WORST customer service I have ever received. When I first brought my phone in the salesperson went through my text messages, which I found very inappropriate as it had nothing to do with the problem. After that I got told my phone was normal and there was nothing wrong. This salesperson was very condescending the entire time. I went back a few months later with continuing problems with my phone and got told I had to pay full retail price for a replacement phone because of the issue I had brought it in for a few months ago that I got told was normal! So now I am stuck with a phone that barely works for another year because of their incompetance! The salesperson I had the second time (John) was also very condescending and berated me for several minutes about why I should have bought insurance. I will never come to this store again, and I advise anyone who is looking for a verizon shop tp stay away! read more
