I usually go to the Jericho verizon store but they're always packed -sometimes lengthy waits. But I can see why. Levittown's salesforce are extremely high pressure desperate people always trying to sell you a new phone no matter why you stopped by. I went there just for a new case and the first words out of the salesman his mouth was "I see you have an older model, you need to upgrade". I said that's ok, I like my phone, it works fine, I just want a case". But that wasn't the end of it, he persisted and persisted fast talking me with with figures, rebates, deals, trade-In's......etc.., Then the soft shaming insults started about why I would want to own an older model. Umm, maybe bec it still works and looks fine . When I demanded if he had my case or not, he said no and started again about an upgrading. I felt like saying: "Sir, do you need me to lend you $5 bucks for the bus ride home". How about I just give you a dollar to walk away. Seriously? There's high pressure and then there's strategic begging. So off to the Hicksville store I went. Here's how that went; Me: Excuse me but do you have a case for this phone?" Man: "Yes we do, can I help you with anything else". Me: "Not today, Thanks". Hey Levittown Verizon, when salesman are annoyingly high pressure, customers will sense that whatever you say and offer are filled with lies, exaggerations, scams and misleading deals. Just look at the other 1-star posts. People were mislead into getting add'tl lines. When I decide to upgrade, it won't be there. You credibility is shot. read more
