Went in to transfer phone and once again was come at with a $15-$35 charge. After discussing what I had learned through Yelp...that the rep names their own price...rep got mad and literally and rudely told me to just do it myself. So after choking the number out of the rep I made the 30 minute phone call and transfered phone myself for FREE in the store since I did not have a working phone. I know there are good reps in this store. They are always busy bc people will wait longer for them. I did not have that luxury this day. read more

My husband and I were considering upgrading our phones. We were hoping that someone would help us sort out the options. We had already researched options online. Instead were were told by someone who remained seated at his desk that we could review the videos and let him know if we have questions. We left. When taking my Mother to the local AT&T store I had a much different and positive experience. Considering switching. read more

I have been without service during different times during the year and a half that I was forced to use them. The last time was this week. I was told that there had been an outage and they had been bombarded with calls. I was without service for about a week intermittently. I called and my phone call was disconnected for two days. When I finally reached an "agent", first there was a language barrier. Secondly, I did everything that I was told to do, still no service for my TV in the bedroom. I had service on the TV in the living room, after doing everything I was instructed to do, I was put on hold and the TV in the living room stopped working. She continued to put me on hold to check different things. After one hour, she said that I needed a technician. The technician came and got my service to operate. I received a bill for $64.00. I challenged the charged because I did everything the agent told me do, and she lost the service on the TV in the living room, and the remote to the TV in the bedroom stopped working. I was told that half was a fair charge for the technician. I hung up on the "agent's supervisor" and I canceled my service that day. AMERICAN customer service was not shown to me. The agent made my situation worse, and I was told that I was responsible. Wrong Answer. I would give a -10 rating if possible.

There was no response from WOW on phone calls, email or visits to their (suddenly abandoned) office in Dothan. We returned the equipment, and sent a letter cancelling service and requesting a refund of the May prepayment. Instead, WOW continued to bill my father-in-law for ongoing service. After months of trying and after 3+ hours waiting on the phone, we finally talked to a customer service rep in the summer. He said the issue was taken care of. Nevertheless, WOW has not refunded the prepayment and continued to bill. This is the worst customer service we have ever received.

They put some kind of cleaning product on the fan blades which ended up taking the paint off and bleaching them. She (Jennifer) said no refund and that they did over $500 worth of cleaning for $325 and would have to charge again to come back out. DO NOT waste your money.

Jarred went into my attic and crawlspace to look at the 30 year old equipment and I received the proposal the same day. Melinda walked me through the Alabama Power financing process which was painless. I pulled the trigger and once the equipment was on hand the crew showed up and stayed about 10-11 hours (weathering two rain showers) to get it done! A new fan in the attic, two in the crawlspace, 3 heat pumps and a mini-split for the primary suite. Doyle and his crew couldn't have been more pleasant, courteous and professional to work with. Fire & Ice had done some maintenance work before (through the home warranty company) and I can't be more pleased with the results.
