I'm sure part of this is because of the small town atmosphere but having been to many a Home Depot I expected the usual minimal staffing situation where you are always waiting 15 minutes to get any help. The hours are more restricted than their Tucson counterparts, but then again I've gotten used to Safford rolling up the streets and going to bed early. Recently they didn't have the correct swing for a door we wanted so the gentleman in that department called the stores in Tucson to find one for us. We paid for it over the phone and picked it up when we got home. Yay for customer service that actually likes to serve the customer!

I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with this store. It started out ok and has gotten…read moreprogressively worse in the past three weeks. Repeatedly we have tried to get them to measure out kitchen for counters and cabinets. They have been wasting a lot of time. Apparently no one knows what's going on there either. We made an appointment to meet with the designer for new counters and cabinets. They tried to discourage us from waiting. We finally talked to the designer and they took our choices down told us they would schedule us for a measure. It never happened then three weeks later tried to refund the charge. I told them to talk to my mother , who has the keys to measure they said theyd call and they never did. So now I have to chase them.down again . So far they have wasted 3 weeks! This same home depot told me my doors would be in in two weeks and they wont be in for 4 weeks and delayed the tile by a week. But by far the cabinets are the most infuriating part of this saga. I was told that everything was cut and dry. The kitchen would be measured quickly and they would be ordered and placed asap. Why was it important for me to give you a deadline on when I wanted this done if it was going to be slow rolled ?

I called a couple weeks ago and asked how much it would cost to hardwire a dashcam. I was told $65…read moreper hour. Great! I knew how much to budget for. I called a couple days ago to make an appointment, and the woman on the phone corrected that price. It is actually $95 per hour if you do not purchase the dashcam from Audio Visions. She was polite and it seemed like an honest mistake, no big deal. She also told me over the phone to go ahead and bring my car and camera to the store, because they would be happy to take a quick look and determine if the employees knew how to install it, and we would go from there. I thought it was good customer service that they were willing to look at the camera before I committed to a formal appointment and payment. I told her I would come Thursday just after 2 pm and she confirmed the time. So, I went into the store today, and told the employee at the desk I was there for them to look at my dashcam. She told me to come back next week because there was not an opening today. They did not seem willing to look at the camera like I was told over the phone. I don't think they were expecting me at all, even though we had previously agreed upon the date and time. I am frustrated because I have been told something different all three times I spoke to an employee. $95 isn't much, but I will take it elsewhere. TL;DR: Problems with communication.
