Three employees standing around socializing, almost blocking the entrance, continued to ignore me as I entered. A person at the counter, busy with another customer, finally waved one of them over to me, ten minutes later. The employee, African American and middle aged, wouldn't even offer to look at my phone. She told me "put it in rice, if that doesn't work, it's an insurance claim" and then promptly went back to socializing. Everyone knows that the "put it in rice" is an urban myth and doesn't really work. Everyone, it seems, except Verizon employees.

There are a few nice AT&Tributes about this store, let me explain…read more Yet another AT&T store that I stopped in and and hung out on my travels which is in Texarkana which is not the kind of town where I would probably purchase a cell phone plan cuz I usually just come In-N-Out of this area. No burger pun intended, but whataburger they make at In-N-Out. Lol. We've been thinking of switching cell phone plans to AT&T from my current Verizon which is really expensive. But honestly while it will be a bit cheaper, it might end up being more expensive once we get all the stuff that we already have and who knows if the service will be as good cuz we don't really have too many problems with our service right now - just really obnoxious obscene price gouging that they are responsible for. Like I've said before - We've been thinking of switching to them and taking advantage of one of these free switch with incentive deals that they offer. So I was in here and I was asking a couple of questions because it's a long process deciding whether we want to do it and if so which company we want to switch to. So the bottom line is that once you get through all the small print and the hidden costs and the not-properly-spelled-out incidence of your rate going up after such-and-such amount of time, you're really going to be paying roughly the same amount as Verizon, as Sprint, or matter who you go with. Unless you choose MetroPCS or Cricket. (((crickets)))
