Louis at tHis store only works there. He doesn't care. He made up an excuse that the safe wasn't working when he tired his password however. The other lady could do hers and it would open. He says he only works there he doesn't care about the customer just the paycheck. Beside not knowing how to use the safe he couldn't do the refund right either. I had one of the worst retail experiences in my life here. I went in to buy a new phone. There was one other customer in the store being helped. I waited approximately 15 minutes before the salesperson asked me "Did you have a quick question?'. I replied, "No, I need to purchase a new phone." He informed me that the other salesperson was at lunch and would be back in 20 minutes. I was then prepared to wait the 20 minutes to get set up with a new iPhone. Approximately 25 minutes later. Another customer who had come in after us asked if there were any other salespeople available to help them. The sole available salesperson who was still helping the one (1) customer ahead of us replied "He JUST sat down to lunch". And with that, I was out. read more

Pretty disappointed in my service while at the Verizon store today. While my needs were meet I was treated as an inconvenience to be inside. When handing over my phone I got a dirty look for it having a small crack and the sales person Bracy scratched at it. I previously had a bad experience at the other Verizon store in town. Today I walked in to this store to look at phones, ask some questions and get some prices. I intended to go home and think about it. Well, I bought a new phone and got a free tablet. The manager, Justin, and the sales people, Hayden, Brittany, Josiah and another guy whose name I failed to get; were all extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. There was no hard sell, just the facts. However, they lost one star - and maybe the fault is mine - because there was a casual mention of a "$200 package" that I didn't catch, and didn't understand until it was all over. I spent more than I had planned, and probably more than I would have if I had understood. Hayden kept adding on "free" accessories which I accepted because they were "free." There was also a coupon for this, and a coupon for that, so things really weren't costing very much. But the final total nearly made me faint. Of course I did buy a pricey phone (on a monthly plan) and I know I will be happy with it. But the "$200 package" was optional, and it was the way they pumped up the total cost. If I had planned, I would have left and purchased some of my accessories on-line and probably saved some money. To give them credit, they did apply all those coupons. And Hayden spent a LOT of time with me. He transferred EVERYTHING from my old phone to the new phone (a $19.99 charge that was not specified beforehand), and he applied the screen protectors to my new phone and new tablet. Justin and Brittany gave me a Pandora tutorial. All of them spent all the time needed to answer all of my questions. So yeah, I am happy but poorer. Just watch out for those extra charges and be smarter than I was. read more

The local Verizon store in Susanville has the worst employee turn over rate I have ever seen. Every time I go in there someone new is working. I'd like to see the people that have helped me before and know me stick around. Now, I don't know why these employees are not working there anymore but obviously something isn't being done right with how many people you have in and out of there. read more

While visiting Susanville this weekend I went into Verizon to add more data on my prepaid account. I gave the cashier $20 and she said the system was slow and it should post in a couple of minutes. 2 days later it has yet to post I called Verizon and they couldn't find any sign of my payment!! So I called the store and they said they emeralds someone and they might get back to me tomorrow, they claim it's "a new company" that bought this store... Long story short I got ripped off my $20. No one seems to know where it went... Do not come here!!! read more

Be careful when verizon offers you the free tablet, they have you sign a contract for 2 years and don't explain that it will cost sixty bucks to activate and ten bucks a month to add it's own phone line so your more than paying for this free tablet at two forty for the two year contract talk about bait and switch! I went into the store to look into upgrading my son's phone. I had many questions and was unfamiliar the whole process. Josiah was very professional and very informative. He was able to answer all of my questions and even did some research for me to help me decide (without pushing me towards Verizon's product) between Apple and Verizon warranties. My husband and I were traveling when we had problems with our Jet Pack. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and were helped by two young ladies that seemed to know their business. However, they sold us a new SIM card for the Jet Pack and it still didn't work. They told us that it was something wrong with their system which was why they couldn't activate the SIM card, that once we got to a different area, we wouldn't have any problems. We did more business with them, I upgraded my phone and my husband switched his phone to use my old phone. We went on our way to Reno and went to Verizon where they told us the Jet Pack itself was toast, not the SIM card. So we bought a card from Susanville Verizon when it wasn't the problem, so that's money wasted. Then 2 weeks later, they call me and tell me to send a copy of my driver's license to them! I live in another State and refused. If they wanted to see my ID, they should have done so when I was in their store, not 2 weeks later! Very suspicious of that. read more
