Verizon Lost My Order and Wasted My Time -- New Customer, Already Regret It. I made an online order for Verizon 5G Home Internet and went to the store to pick it up. The employee handed me the device, gave me two printed receipts, and I even received the receipt by email. Everything seemed fine. When I got home and tried to set up the device on my Verizon account, it showed that I had never picked up the equipment. I called tech support, and after they contacted the store, I was told the store claimed they never had a customer with my name and had no record of me picking up the device. How is that possible when I have the device in my possession, two receipts from the store, and an emailed receipt from Verizon? Now I have to waste more time and gas driving back to the store to fix a problem that Verizon created. As a brand-new customer, this is one of the worst first impressions I've ever had from a company. The lack of communication between the store, account system, and customer support is unbelievable. If this is how Verizon handles a simple pickup order, I can only imagine how frustrating it would be when dealing with larger issues. I do not recommend Verizon based on this experience. Save yourself the headache and consider other providers like T-Mobile or AT&T instead. read more

Let start off by thanking the team over at this store, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Sales rep Vincent worked diligently to get me the best promo offers he could to get me out of my previous carrier. I was switching over 4 lines and got an amazing deal. He's very welcoming and professional, in fact the whole team was. I did run into a promotional issue that wasn't applied at the date of sale. However, the Managers, Carmen, and Emily, were super helpful even when customer service said there was nothing they could do to help me. Emily really went beyond any expectations to assist with my issue and used all of her resources to make sure I was satisfied, which am!! Day 5 no port occurred... not staying there as it's easier to move family to ATT then wait a week for a port ...Verizon has better service at work but unfortunately lazy in store and too many prompts for even their workers to want to deal with ... a mistake to make the attempt to switch! Lookin at 2.5 stars at the store says it all... Very nice and stylish facility. Arrived to get some help paying off my phones because the website wasn't working properly and I wasn't able to pay online (minus one for Verizon!). I was greeting when I arrived in the store but 15 minutes later, I was still waiting for assistance except that there were now 4 other customers also waiting behind me. I finally got someone to come and take my money. I was not happy with the way I or the other customers were left to wait in the showroom while the employees stayed in the back room. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & WASTE OF TIME. Walked in and stood there for about 10 - 15 minutes and nobody was trying to help me or even acknowledge me that I was waiting. I felt like I walked into someone's home without their invitation. That was horrible customer service experience I ever got. One gentleman saw me waiting and he was changing signs while I was standing right next to him and then I had to ask him for the help and he told me to wait. It sounded like it was more important to change the signs instead of helping the customer. after waiting for sometime a rep. named Chad finally came up to me. And he was no different than other rep. I have a personal and a business account with Verizon, but today's matter was about the business account. I was trying to add another line but he couldn't find my business account. He kept telling me that I only have a personal account. I asked him if he can look up by business name, phone number or email, but he was giving me attitude like he owns this store. I provided him the phone number, company name. I even showed him the statement with business account number and he still couldn't find it. I don't know how they got this job. I came in to this store today and the guy told me sorry we don't have the cell phone you want but we can order it or you can go to Best Buy/WalMart and get one there. I said ok do they have them and he said yes they always have them but we are on back order. I went to Best Buy and Walmart and they did not have one. I called the order line and was on hold fo 45 minutes. I came back to the store and the guy now says that they don't have a way to order in store to call the line. So we called and continued to sit on hold listening to the music and he joked around dancing to the music saying "it's kinda funny how long you wait it starts to become your jam". Worst Verizon store ever! Walked in to look at the brand new iPhone and nobody even acknowledged the fact that I was in there. Waited about 5 minutes. Tried to pick up the phone to take a few photos and check out the quality but the phones were on lock down. The giant lock cable only extended about 6 inches. Couldn't even hold it up to take a photo with the rear camera! On top of that, nobody said a word or even looked at me except for another girl who was waiting to speak with someone as well. I will never step foot in this store again! Do you realize the only reason someone walks into your business is to give you money. After reading several reviews I decided to drive from Murfreesboro to visit this store in Smyrna instead of our local store and I'm glad I did. Karmen is amazing! She was friendly, honest, and very helpful. She set me up an appointment for Black Friday and got me, my mom, and my best friend into a great deal on 2 Note 9's and activation on a 3rd line with an S7 we already had. I had a problem with my first screen protector and she was super helpful getting it straightened out and went above my expectations, extremely rare these days! After 15 years as a loyal AT&T customer I can honestly say I wish I'd switch a long time ago! I've gone from dropping calls all day every day to only having maybe 1 or 2 dropped calls in the past few weeks. As a truck driver, I'm constantly on the move and reliable service is very important. Three other people walked in after us at various times(over about 20 minutes), and were addressed almost immediately, while my wife was ignored. We left, might go to another store or just change carriers And get her a new phone. read more

It took the rep and his manager just over an hour to solve a complex issue with my Apple Watch. They stayed with me the whole time and engaged in conversation, were friendly and fun, and were just generally wonderful. :) Excellent service and they had the issue resolved within less time than I was on hold on the phone for yesterday trying to get it resolved. read more

On November 28, 2018 at 7:00pm.I went to the Verizon Store on Sam Ridley Pkwy in Smyrna to get a sim card.I was not added on the account as an authorized user so I had to contact customer service over the phone to have it done, I was on the phone for over 30 plus minutes, nobody attended to me while in the store.The customer service was terrible.This was my first time coming to a Verizon store since switching from another carrier. The supervisor had not said a thing to me since I have been in the store for over an hour.At this point I was beyond irritated.I basically called customer service took care of the issue myself. I waited to see if anyone in the store would see if I need assistance after being on the phone, there were store representatives up to 5 in the store at one time and maybe 1 customer in the store besides me. I waited no one approached or acknowledged me all I wanted to get at this point is what I initially come into the store to get...a sim card.The supervisor approached me asked if I needed assistance after none of the store reps were on the floor and were basically hiding in the back ,out of sight. The original person who helped me was helping someone else and no one seemed to want to help me.The Supervisor reluctantly approached me, at this point I was beyond irritated what should had been a few minutes ended up taking longer than usual. The supervisor had the audacity to tell me he wasnt going to serve me until I lose my attitude.Mind you He didnt even attempt to help me, he didnt even ask if I was successfully added to the account and automatically refused service to me.I told him I am actually on the account, he then changed it to he wouldnt be able to assist me until I lose the attitude.I repeated his statement back to him in a question because I couldnt believe my ears.I said so because you perceived my irritation as an attitude, and I have endured poor terrible customer service, even though I am on the account you are refusing service to me?I didnt leave because the closest Verizon Corporate location was 30 minutes away and by the time I got there they would have been closed. The supervisor then asked me to leave, I told him not until I get what I came here to get.He calls security on me and has me removed from the building. I was not cussing at him, I was not threatening him, I was not stealing anything in the store, I wasnt disrupting other customers in the store...I was simply irritated by the terrible customer service I was receiving so he calls the police on me. Two police officers came up to me. I asked them a question I am just trying to get service and the supervisor claims because of my attitude he couldnt assist me is this correct and means of removing me off the property? I explained i will be calling corporate and in which he states I can call corporate, they arent going to do anything and he still has the right to refuse service because of my perceived attitude. I explained to the police officer I have no phone and the next store is 30 minutes away by the time i get there they will be closed.I need the sim card he said I can come back tomorrow I explained I needed a sim card today.They stated they will have to arrest me for trespassing. read more

I've been a Verizon customer for about 10 years. I have purchased phones through them and of course have had and still have various data plans. Yesterday (Thanksgiving Day), my iPhone 7 glitched out. So on NOv. 23, Black Friday no less, I head to the store to see what's up, since the error was a "cellular data" error, I hoped the Verizon store could help. It was about a 40 minute wait - not as bad as I expected at all, so no complaints there. The problem is when the young man waited on me, he was kind of ... impolite ... and that is me being polite. He vacillated between "I've never seen this before" and "This is a known problem and you should just buy a new iPhone" before just telling me to go to Apple to get it fixed. I can fully understand if the Verizon store can't fix the problem but there is no reason to treat a long-time customer like they don't matter. read more

Then when I engage someone myself I was told that he was too busy at the time working on the shelf that was behind me. I had a major "no customer service" problem with the store and to get someone to help me from the top cost me HOURS of my time and after a week, still hasn't been resolved or communicated well with me.....Just, "I'm going to do this and do that.......and nothing has been done. I've been on hold all morning just waiting to find out the name of the manager at this store since no one else will help. Associate Manager and 2 other staff REFUSED to wait on me last week when I had an emergency breaking my phone and needed a working phone for the next day for medical reasons (terminal cancer patient waiting on a call from doctor.) 3 times in one day I pleaded with them ( while they were standing on the sidewalk doing nothing and last time even joined by the associate manager). Told me to make an appt (for 2 days later). Phone message says "appointments are encouraged" but doesn't state required. The 3 times I was there they, each time at least one of them had more than enough time to sell me a phone (like I already had). I reminded them I had been a Verizon customer for over 15 yrs and all I got was my accountant number and manager said, "you will need this when you switch companies" and looked away (had no customers). My daughters phone acted like it had died, would not turn on at all, even after trying to charge it. She didn't want to have to get a new phone. We went into the store, barely made it inside the door when a young woman asked how we were doing and if she could help. She looked at the ailing phone showed my daughter what to do and the phone has worked with no issues since. After looking around...expecting a shelf to go in buy a BASIC phone & leave...a clerk approached & took name/phone# and said I'd have to wait for salesman. I asked ."just to buy a basic phone?" yes, ma'am. Well after 25 min. a man approached, checked my dead phone "yep, need a new phone" Really??? That's why I'm there!!! So, instead of just getting me what I ASKED for... he tries convincing me I should save $5.00 & get a contract phone...& proceeds with getting another salesperson there to convince me to "upgrade" & takes me to the SAME table of BASIC phones that they say are available under contract for $.99 (which was 1 of 2). The same flip phone I bought originally at WalMart for $19.99 was $79.99 !! The one's under "contract" were $129 & up. I left in tears...stressed over the pressure & ridiculous price. I went to car & told my daughter @ experience...she was MAD! We went over to Target 1/2mile away and bought the upgrade phone they told me "I" couldn't get with basic - but, available under contract for $29.99...my old phone ...yeah, @ Target for $19.99...not $79.99 ! So, I bought the phone I wanted...and will call Verizon to switch my phone number & billing. read more
