On October 28, 2023, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 phone from the Sebastian Verizon store, which turned out to be a Cellular Sales owned store. I had a problem because I was promised an $800 promotional trade-in on my old phone which was not available on the Verizon plan I had. After 5 months of back and forth, Verizon made good on the original promise and I was satisfied. Then on Oct.18, 2024, just under a year later, I kept an appointment to have the factory installed screen protector replaced under Samsung's free replacement policy within the first year. To my surprise, the repair facility told me that my warranty had expired on Sep 28,2024 only eleven months after my purchase. A chat with Samsung uncovered the fact that my "new" phone was really an "open box" sale that had been sold once before. When I checked my original purchase receipt, it did have an indication of "used" in part of the description. I never saw the purchase receipt in the store. After setting up the phone and factory resetting my old phone, the salesperson put all the packaging material in a bag, then walked over to the reception area where the printer was located, and put the receipt in the bag, and presented it to me. When I arrived home, I scanned the receipt and filed it away never relizing that I had a used phone. As a result, I paid full price for a product that had been previously sold and returned, and received only an 11 month warantee, instead of a full 12 month warranty. This was not honored when I applied the difference of $410.00. We spent endless hours in their physical store, several hours on the phone. Wasted my time on a simple error that should have been corrected from the start. I escalated this to their customer service hotline#877-851-0649 on Dec13, 2022. I called again on Dec23, 2022 was told they were still working on it. Today Jan2, 2023 I received a callback from the case manager saying there's nothing they can do, and I am stuck paying $800(this was the promotional amount that should have been applied. read more

I encountered a very friendly associate, Claudia, who was eager and assisted in helping me switch carriers. She offered trade-in incentives and pre-paid Visas for my phones, which were not delivered as promised. I had numerous problems with my bill and poor customer service (and ultimately a total lack of accountability for any of the promotions offered when I handed over my iPhones). Please don't work with this sales person and if you use this independent retailer, make sure you are not counting on ever seeing a penny on any of the promotions advertised for switching to Verizon. read more

If I could give no stars I would. When we first signed up for Verizon, we were promised prices and incentives that were not honored correctly. They made me trade in my Apple Watch from another carrier and purchase a new watch telling me my other watch would not be able to work. We just switched to another carrier, and my Apple Watch works perfectly fine and transferred very easily... From the start of service our bill has consistently been different prices. Each month higher than the last and a different price than originally quoted. We went into the store to discuss other options and they informed us to "Look at our Bill on the App and figure it out". Our experience with the employees in the store has been terrible, rude, and unhelpful in the sense that they are unable to demonstrate an understanding of their company policies and procedures. read more
