I have been here several times. Always had prompt, courteous and very helpful service. Other reviewers - some people are grouchy and unreasonable - the same ones who write bad reviews when the other ratings are 5 star. "Consider the source" as Mom used to say about such folks. BUT, I will say that VERIZON SIGNAL IS WEAK around my neighborhood, right in town, Monument Ave. Not the store's fault, but am looking for another cell provider. read more

I went with my Daughter with her broken Iphone 1 1/2 hr before closing on a Sunday. Micheal Kang went far above and beyond the expected customer service...He stayed about 1 1/2 hr. late and resolved all our issues. I normally do not do a Updated review on a place so quickly, as I like to wait at least a year. However, this deserved an update, and I JUST did not want to wait a year. As you know, it is ALL about "Customer Service". I just recently bought a Samsung Note 3 phone from Dan, and within several days of owning this great phone... I noticed it was not accessing 4G, and ONLY staying on 3G, even though I live in a 4G area. So, I called Verizon and a Rep told me to take it the Corporate Store and have them check the phone out. They did JUST that and replaced the Sim Card. I than call Dan at the Verizon place to let him know what had happened and he assured me the next time to bring it there as they would have taken care of the problem. About 1 week later, I was having the same problem so this time I went back to the Original Verizon Store. Dan was not there. However, the Manager by the name of James was there... I had met him earlier, when I bought the phone from Dan as he came over to THANK me for buying the phone in his store. Dan, went over the phone and without hesitation, he went to the back and brought out a NEW phone. He assured me in how he wanted to make me Happy. He also commented how he wants me to return again as a Customer. He set the phone back up and set up my email accounts. The ONLY thing I had to do AGAIN... Go back home and re-down load the Apps and re log back into them them.... So, when I left... I left as a Happy Camper. James and Dan's Customer Service goes beyond Good Customer Service for this Store. If you read this and decide to go into this particular store... Ask for Dan or James. If they are not there, ask when will they return. I am sure the other Reps are just as good, however my experience tells me how these two guys are the BEST in this particular Verizon Store. Great Job James and Dan, as I will be returning, and I hope my friends will be coming as well. read more

We visited here while on a mini vacay. Store is nice and clean and pretty spread out inside. My husband got his phone wet and needed a new one. Service was top notch and fairly quick. I tried to do a trade-in with Verizon and upgrade to a new phone. I was sent an envelope to mail back my device. I received an email that my device was received and I would be getting a credit of $202 ( it was a $500 phone but ok) on the next one to two billing statements. After three billing statements went by and I never saw the credit I call Verizon. I was hung up on, disconnected, and ended up taking four phone calls and over an hour on the final one today to let me know that the credit was actually issued in accessories that I had bought in store!! I purchased a new screen protector, case and case fir my son as the agent in the store states I'd get a discount for purchasing 3 items. I never in anyway was informed that this would take the place of the $202 credit I was promised in 1-2 billing cycles. I never thought with this would in anyway effect my trade-in. All I thought was that if I bought three accessories- I would be getting a discount at the retail store. I was prepared to pay cash for the items; but the agent said they can bill it right to my account. When I called to find out where my credit was for my trade-in device they told me I had been credited in accessories! Verizon was not clear in letting me know this or that this credit on buying 3 items would take the place of my trade in. Now months later they say I was credited towards my accessories? This was not the original agreement. Verizon gets over $500 a month from me and I am now canceling all of their services! What a scam! read more

These guys are so helpful! For many years dealing with wireless providers and equipment changes and the like was a real pain. Now that I am a customer of Cellular Sales/Verizon, that has all changed. This week I worked with Eric from the Patterson Ave store to get a new line and make some changes to a business account. My husband bought us new iPhones the other week and I noticed a $70 device set up charge on our bill even though the store did not set up our phones. When I spoke to the manager about the charge today, he said simply that my husband was aware of the fees (my husband said he thought the device set up fee was the activation fees, which they were not) when signing the contract and was offered a way for the store to set up our device, and therefore, I could not be refunded the $70 charge-- even though no one at the store set up our devices. When I called corporate Verizon, they said that authorized dealerships (like this location) make their money through these fees and they are not corporate locations, just authorized sellers, but in terms of fairness they should have not charged for a set up fee if they did not provide that service. Our lesson learned was to only buy Verizon products through corporate considering we paid a $60 activation fee on top of a $70 device fee (when no devices were even set up). My husband said the reps were polite when he bought the devices, and the rep and manager were professional when I asked about the charge-- however it seems unfair (which corporate Verizon agreed to) that we were charged device set up fees without actually using that service, regardless if it was offered and we denied it. Just know there is a difference between a set up fee and an activation fee. read more

I went here with my friend earlier today because he was in the market for a new iPhone 5S. The guy that was helping us was amazing! He made sure that my friend understood everything about his new plan step by step and always stopped and asked if he had any questions. The process for setting up his new plan and getting his new iPhone 5S activated was so simple. The representative also took the time to get to know us by opening up conversation during the activation process, which is really good. The representative also helped my friend save some money by asking my friend if he worked for a company that qualified for some employee discount. My friend was in luck and was able to have a 15% discount (I think this will be applied to his monthly payments). Most representatives won't even try to help their customers save money. This was certainly not the case today. I was surprised how great the service was at the Verizon, not that I thought it would have bad service or anything. Not as much people were here when we went, but it was around early afternoon, and I'm sure people were at work or something. This location is a pretty decent size store. Very clean setup and a great display of phones to try out. If you're in the market for a new phone or are planning to switch to Verizon, this is a place that I definitely recommend that you go to! read more

I first went here because it was next door to my favorite Vietnamese restaurant and I was in the market for an iPhone 6s. This place was not crowded at all and very clean. I can't remember the salesperson's name but he was very friendly, professional and well dressed. I would have bought my phone here but they didn't have a 32 gig. He called the next closest authorized Verizon store but they didn't have it either. I was disappointed I couldn't buy my phone from him because of the great service I received. But I will definitely come back in the future. read more

Be careful to understand that CellularSales is not a Verizon Company Store. I purchased a gift card for a friend in Maryland. However, they were unable to use the gift card because my friend used a Verizon Company Store. There are no CellularSales Stores near my friends home. So I requested a full refund. The reason for the refund, no one disclosed to me that a gift card can only be used at their CellularSales Stores. At the time of purchases I asked if my friend would be able to use this card. The answer from the representative was yes. That was not the case. Please be aware of the fact this is NOT a Verizon Company store. read more

I see a bunch of good reviews about great customer service, but I did not get that from this location at all. Maybe it is because I am young and perhaps I don't look like I have money to spend. Either way, I walked in with a few questions about upgrading to a new phone. I left frustrated and confused. I was shrugged off by the sales associate as soon as he learned I was not the account holder. I was questioned about why i had a passport instead of a drivers license even though a passport is a valid, government issued form of identification. I work in the service industry, and I know good service. That is not what I experienced here today. This location needs to consider employing associates that can be more helpful regardless of whether they think their guests have money to spend. I was going to walk out with a new phone, but I'm better off going to another location. Sorry if you do not agree. read more
