This is the worst store ever. Beware of Juan. Was told we can get new I-phones, Apple Watch's and I-pad for free. Told him we didn't need a number for the iPad as it never leaves the house. I expected a $160-$180 bill. I lost my mind when my first bill was $582.62. I called customer service and spoke to a manager only to find out that I needed to pay for 3 additional lines for 3 years. For the record. Covid is stressful on us all. First time into this store. I walk in (with a mask) and before I even get in the door the staff member loudly says "I can't have you come in here, my boss isn't here". Put off and confused because, well there wasn't so much as a hello. I say "excuse me?". She loudly, and in an annoyed tone states "my boss is gone and you have to wait outside until she gets back" still confused I ask why and she replies "because of covid you can't be in here unless my boss comes back, you can wait outside until these customers leave or my boss gets back". I waited, the customers left, I went back in, same staff, still rude. I explained that my hostspot wasn't working and, that it had up until I upgraded my phone a few days before. She snippily responded with "well I don't know what to tell you, I don't know what the other store did". I decided to leave and call verizon rather than have her "help me" It was all in all an odd visit that left a bad taste in my mouth. I would not want to be in customer service right now, I can't imagine how rough it much be, however, one can still be kind. I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt that there was in fact a logical reason for her insistence that I wait outside, but it would have been nice had she, actually stated the reason, and done it kindly. So, once, many years ago I had a not great experience at the location and had not been back. Skip to today ...my husband and I both needed new phones, I had one through AT&T from work but it never worked at our house and I wanted to switch to Verizon... anyway my husband raved about the ladies at this store and it is the most convenient location to us so I decided to go there and give them a second chance... Hailey spent hours today setting up our new phones making sure our emails were transferred and that everything was perfect ... I'm am not good with that stuff, last time I got a new phone it took 2 years to get my work email connected and I never wanted to have to deal with doing it again, she did it for me! She also called around to every store to find the case I wanted. As well as helping me figure out how to retrieve some needed info and how to improve my phone storage. I'm always intimidated asking for help in the situations because I am not a techy person so even the explanation is often lost on me... She went out of her way to make me not feel like an idiotwe are so happy right now with our beautiful new phones all set up and working ready to use! I'd additionally like to comment on COVID protocols, employees have been put in a really unfortunate situation being expected to police mask wearing, these people are just doing their job and what they are required to do when they remind folks they must wear a mask, BE KIND people! I guarantee they don't want to do this, they want to help their customers .... with that said , I'd guess they also don't want to face a $1000 fine and possibly losing their job if they were to not enforce. This store is a 10 out of 10. I can't praise them enough for being so kind to me and my family. I walked in looking to upgrade my iPhone 11 because I had cracked the screen and was greeted by Clarisa she told me that even though my screen was cracked I could still trade in which made my whole day! As Clarisa was looking at my account Cheyenne was nice enough to help me pick out a case and screen protector that I liked and even let me try the cases on my new phone. Both these gals made the whole phone process so easy and not a hassle at all like I always dread it to be. This will forever be my favorite store. I needed complex technical assistance... as my phone sim and ICCID and the IEMI number got mixed and scrambled around when i lost my phone got a replacement provided via insurance. We tried on line through VERIZON carrier to no avail. Marissa the clerk at this store promised not to let me leave the store until it was resolved. She spent 30 plus minutes and SOLVED the problem. I really loved this store and it's employees were helpful with easy issues they could solve, and they offered great suggestions on products. I recommended this store! That changed yesterday. My my glass phone screen protector had been crushed on one side and needed replacing. I replaced it once since I purchase the phone a couple years ago, sadly wasting 2 glass screen protectors trying to put it on without fingerprints and getting it straight. As these protectors are expensive, and I don't replace them enough to become good at doing this, I went into this store for help and they replaced it quickly and neatly, and they were so helpful.. WERE! Yesterday, I showed the phone to one of the two women working there. The one on the left literally barked at be... that it would cost me $20! I was mainly appalled at her attitude, and the charge was absurd! There wasn't a single soul in the store, either! The woman on the left, said that had been a policy change... And she did not even say it nicely. I said OK, I turned around and walked out and told them I wouldn't be back. The lady on the right side was was talking to her, in a nice calm voice regarding what had just happened,and she was barking at her, too. Due to gas prices, I bundle my trips together. I was going to purchasing a couple of car chargers for friend's phones, as gifts. I also needed an Otterbox, or something similar to protect my son's phone! They (the owner of the company) lost those purchases and my business, permanently! Congratulations on your rudeness and uninviting greeting being successful! I always have a great experience when visiting this store which I frequent a lot due to me always breaking my screen protector. Haley and Clarisa are awesome . Haley's customer service is so great that I used to go to the store off Niblick and when she moved to the Theater Dr. location,so did I . As fo Clarisa , she went above and beyond trying to locate a screen protector from other Verizon locations even AFTER I left in search of a protector. I stopped by the Niblick location and the ladies there were actually waiting for me which was surprising. Even though I didn't catch their names they very efficient and kind as well. All senior citizens stay away from this store. These women are rude and so dishonest. I saw countless people come in and rudely turned away if they had a question. I personally was sold a international phone which I didn't need for several hundred dollars and not told there were other options. I take a certain amount of responsibility but when your older you count on folks being honest with you. So I guess I want to warn this is not the store to count for that kind of service. I was sold an orbic hot spot for $200.00 which retails for $79.00. I was sent home with a phone that was not downloaded properly and spent hours doing it by hand. Yes these people are a piece of work. I'm a caregiver and I am way too exhausted to demand my money back. This is my only recourse. Luckily I have the money to absorb this loss. I can hardly wait to see how I was screwed on these supposedly free phones. I take a certain amount of responsibility but when your older you count on folks being honest with you. By far the worst experience I've had at a phone store. Went in on a Thursday to try and get my phone fixed and the girl at the desk was extremely rude and had no customer service. Tried to talk to a manager about it and she didn't seem to give a shit about her job and just brushed me off. I don't know who made her in charge of the store but she should be fired. Unfortunately not a good experience for me. The young woman helping me was not friendly and was either not helpful or not knowledgeable about the options available. I wanted a I Phone SE and was told they did not have any. I asked multiple questions about all the phones and plans. I then was thinking of a Samsung and she said they didn't have any of that model. Fortunately the man who worked there stepped out and told me they did have one. We were starting the transaction when the man also told me about the pre-paid plan for the SE and that they did have that phone. The young woman just sat there and didn't even acknowledge that she had not offered me that option. Upon seeing my paperwork I told her that my address was wrong. I had to remind her 3 times to correct it. Also, after buying the phone, the young woman told me I had to pay for the monthly pre-paid amount with cash only. What? Again the man stepped in and took my card and made the transaction on the phone. Very strange. A short time after this I had a fraudulent charge on my account from somewhere in Florida. If I were the manager, she would not be the person I would want in sales. I almost left several times and went to another store. It was like pulling teeth to get any information. Replacing it at this Verizon store made things so much better: lovely place, caring sales staff member who answered my endless questions clearly and made great suggestions. The port to recharge my battery was broken & I wasn't ready to buy a new phone yet. The clerk, Adrian took the time to find a returned phone that the glass was shattered but the port worked to recharge my battery. He was so helpful. I was ready a few days later & definitely went to him to help me. He said if I had any other questions or problems to come back. He genuinely was concerned & wanted to help. People in the older generation have a harder time with electronics but this young man in his twenties took the time to help me. The other workers there also showed concern as well & were respectful. Big shout out to this group of younger people who earn their wages with customer courtesy. read more
