My elderly parents were in this store yesterday at 3:00 pm. there was only one person working it was a young man. My parents wanted to know why their bill was so high and would it stay that way. The man was of little use. when my father said "Ok then we want to close our account what would that cost be" the employee said it would be 2500.00 no card, no check only cash... Funny that the online gentleman (mike) was amazing I was able to group call with my folks the actual buy out was 1800.00 and that all verizon stores take cash, check or card. Anyway Don't let your elderly family or friends go into that store alone! read more

Super unfortunate experience at this store. I'm not typically one to leave a negative review, however, the whole experience and customer service was awful. I went in to the store to upgrade my phone. Didn't want anything fancy- just needed a working phone. I was told if I upgraded our plan and traded in my current phone, I'd be eligible for $800+ credit towards a new phone. Did the plan upgrade which went fine. Then came the trade in where my phone data and info was instantly transferred to the new phone and my old phone deleted. Once that was already done- the associate told me "oh no, the promo is already over". So basically told me that they couldn't give me the $800 credit. I was very upset, as that was not what I agreed to. The associate called their manager and I was told they would look into it. The next day I got a voicemail from the associate stating that said they were "shit out of luck" getting me the promo. Angry, I called back and asked for an explanation with no further info. I called the manager multiple times to get more information with no answer and no call-back. I ended up reaching out to Verizon corporate who kindly took care of things for me. But absolutely no attempt by this store was made to make this right. Super disappointed, and won't be returning. I would recommend driving to Boise to a proper Verizon store over this third party place. read more

Short staffed? There was only one employee and no manager available. I wanted to upgrade my phone and I waited 30 minutes when I heard the one worker say "I am off in 30 minutes and I have to go", it was 3:30 in the afternoon. This was my second visit with no hope of getting service because it is improperly staffed. I pay a lot for my verizon services and it seems unacceptable that the one Verizon store lacks adequate staffing and absolutely NO customer service. Please Fix your priorities because this store is terrible for the Verizon brand. read more

This is the second day in a row I've been to this location and each day the wait was in excess of twenty minutes because of there being only a single employee. On the first day, he was fine, when he got to me, but we couldn't do a protection-plan replacement of my ailing XR because of online problems (total visit time about forty-ve minutes with no resolution). Came back the next day and waited more than twenty minutes--single employee was setting up two customers' new phones and the wait was going to be another thirty-plus (?) minutes--before I gave up. I know this is a non-Verizon-owned store and you have to save money where you can but I'm going to Boise from now on. Sorry ... live in Mountain Home and want to support local businesses but not when it takes three days to get something done. read more

Very disappointed! Sleazy experience! First of all, I thought this was a factory Verizon Store. It isn't! They will sell you a preowned phone but tell you it is NEW. They are not honest, and will sneak in charges you didn't authorize. Felt like I needed a shower after leaving this store. If you want Verizon, go to Boise to the factory store in the old Burger King by the mall, but stay away from this one. They pass off refurbished and preowned as new, and are NOT upfront with information. Sleazy and unprofessional. Not just one sleazy employee, but tag team of dishonesty. The worst is that you will not be able to get help from Verizon in resolving issues this store creates. And you will not get a warranty with a preowned phone. Stay away and deal with a factory store. Better safe than sorry. This has been a horrible experience that required a trip to Boise, and three trips back and forth to get it resolved, and I am still not sure we have new phones, but now I am stuck with what I have for two years. Don't get stuck with something you are unhappy with, go to the right store in the first place. (and if you sell back a phone, they tell you that you have 14 days to change your mind, but they ship those phones out of their store every Wednesday, so you really don't have any time to change your mind and will not get your phone back if it goes beyond a Tuesday) ****Note added: Did receive an apology from one of the employees and he made a special trip 30 miles to deliver a new phone to my house to save me a fourth trip in. And he apologized again when he brought the phone. That was an effort on their part. I am still unhappy with the experience overall. She recommended to change my plan to better fit my usage of data and recommended the different accessories that were available in which I picked up. I really don't like giving negative reviews but this store deserves it! The employees are unfriendly, unhelpful and have no clue what they are doing, example I was in there the other day and not one of the staff knew the password for their own stores wifi. Also they hardly ever have anything in stock, there's nothing I hate more than hearing "sorry, but we can order it" No duh, if I wanted to wait I would have ordered it online from home. I came into the Verizon store in a panic. I thought I had lost my IPhone in Walmart and was sure someone had grabbed it by now. I asked if anyone knew how to do the "Find my IPhone" thing. Megan was a life saver. She quickly set her phone up for me to enter my information, and we found my phone in less than 2 minutes. She was fantastic and really knows her stuff about IPhones. I've never had great experiences at these indirect retailers, but this store, and the employee who helped us, changed my view. The atmosphere is professional and the employees actually do know what they are doing here. We were helped by Megan, who was fantastic. We came to the store with a damaged phone (badly cracked screen), expecting bad news on the cost of repair. Megan explained that our phone may well be covered by a warranty and our cost may end up being nothing. When we were given the runaround by two Verizon customer service representatives, Megan took control and made sure we were taken care of properly. She actually fought for us and won, knowing that if we got our way we wouldn't be spending any money! It was an experience reminiscent of a time I thought was long gone; actual customer service. I know that if we had not gone into that store, we would have paid well over $150. You can bet that for any future cell phone needs, we will be back here. The experience far exceeded our expectations and kudos to this retailer for doing such a fine job and retaining wonderful people like Megan! read more
