Not all Verizon stores are the same! This one has always been great to us! It is a Corporate store (beware, there are franchise stores and be careful of what they promise). Thought wait times can be long here, it's likely because of how customer service oriented they are. They go to great lengths to make sure all your questions are answered and give excellent advice. We don't live in Hutchinson but we travel 30 minutes to use this store because they have taken care of us. The Verizon store closest to me wanted to charge me $40 just to transfer my data to my new phone. I went to this Verizon store and they helped me do it myself for free. I think the guy's name was Austin that helped us. He showed me what to do and if I had any questions to just ask him. This was good customer service ! Even though we were standing up front, the only free sales went to someone else who was obviously already being helped. The sales person helping them told him to help us... He told us he couldn't do anything, was only slightly helpful with insurance. However we did learn something about Onstar. read more

I bought a brand new Samsung 8S Phone. I purchased the recommended screen protector by ZAGG. They had it there and installed it for me. I have had the phone for 6 weeks and it has fallen off twice. I paid $50 for it and sadly it cost $10 for me to send it in for replacment every time it falls off. I feel a little deceived by the staff there. I get that you want to sell me the screen protector but please don't make it sound like I can go in and have it traded out any time when I actually have to pay $10 to have it shipped to me every time. read more

I was a victim of fraud by a Verizon employee in Hutchinson Kansas. This employee allowed someone to purchase 2 IPHONE 7's on my account. I was at the VA hospital in Phoenix at the time. I am a disabled Vet and Verizon can't seem to stop making me relive this fraud committed against me. After hours of trying to get my account straightened out, they want me to pay for their fraud. This employee also took payments from 2 bogus credit cards and now I have to pay for this fraud. Where is customer service? I keep getting agents that won't listen, just keep telling me they can fix it if I pay for it. Verizon gave criminals 2 new phones, put my service on their phones. They turned off my service. We're using two old S5 Samsung phones with bad batteries. The criminals are getting better service than this long time Verizon customer. read more

This store was very helpful. I had purchased a new phone and it needed a different size sim card. I had originally went to the franchise store in my town, they wanted $25 just for the sim, A friend suggested I try the store in Hutchinson and it was a good suggestion, they were able to get the phone working with a different sim, and there was no charge. My husband and I went into Verizon this past Saturday. A salesperson walked up to us and gave us a polite greeting. My husband said that we were there to change our plan. The employees entire demeanor changed quickly. I've never experienced something like this before. It almost appeared as though my husband's accent irritated him and that perhaps he has a prejudice against immigrants. For the rest of our visit, we were treated as though we were incompetent and an inconvenience. Perhaps I'm mistaken on the reason, but this employee could definitely use some professional etiquette training on tone and body language. read more
