The Verizon store Internet is down. They do not use the Verizon Internet that they are selling to customers. Think about that a minute.

I took my Samsung GS4 in for a simple screen repair. I gave them my phone Friday night because the…read moretechnician only works on the weekends apparently, and I was told that I could expect my phone fully repaired and available for pick-up the following day (Saturday evening). When I arrived to the store Saturday evening, the technician apparently took off with my phone and said it wouldn't be available until WEDNESDAY of the next week. My phone, like everybody else, is my only way of communication, so whenever I needed to make a call, I had to either bug my roommate for her phone, or Skype call people. I would never recommend this company for phone repairs. 1.) the technician only works on the weekends and is a social worker primarily, so he/she really must not care about the job in the 1st place. 2.) They have a certain polity duct-taped to the counter that states that they will not be responsible for the LOSS/ damage of the phone if you give it to them. (um, sketchy) 3.) The main receptionist (or the girl who often takes the calls) is very sweet and is often caught in the middle of the conflict between the manager(s) & technician vs. the customer. The manager has poor communication skills (I was told the previous week before all this, that I could take the phone in around 7 PM on Friday, but when i called around 6:20 PM to let them know I was on my way, nobody ever picked up, then I saw on google that they closed at 6:30 PM, apparently i got the bad rap from the manager because she said that they stayed open until 8 PM for me (uhhhh, yeah ook)). And the technician is poor on notifying customers about the issue of repairing the phone (my roommate was never called from the technician saying that he/she would have to take off with my phone to another city just to "repair it"). 4.) They may seem very confident in whatever job you bring to them, but really they probably won't have the part or won't have the phone available to you until a WHOLE WEEK AFTER you take in your phone.

My husband went into this store last week to purchase a new phone. He was greeted by a young man…read morenamed Luis & soon things progressed. Not only was Luis knowledgeable but he was friendly, efficient & in less than 30 minutes - YES! - less than 30 minutes - my husband was walking out with his new phone all ready to go! But wait! There's more. Today we're back in Huntsville eating some lunch & decide to see what I can upgrade for. I have an iPhone 14 Pro. We walk in & we are greeted by Luis. We tell him what we're wanting & he takes us over to the new phones. He looks at me & says - "honestly, I feel that you would be trading down, or at least sideways at this point. But let me check to make sure." He walks over & speaks to another young man (I'm so sorry I didn't catch his name) who was also very friendly & helpful. He takes my phone, turns off a couple or things that aren't necessary, they check the "life" of my phone & check to see if I had purchased a warranty - which I had. They suggested that I keep track of my battery life & when it got to a certain point I could have my battery replaced under warranty. That my phone cameras were better than the new phones currently out. They treated the customer better than making a sale! We will 100% be going back to them. Thank you Luis!

My computer had something going on with it that was slowing down the internet speed so much it…read morewould not load any web pages. I took it to Tech ER to find out what the problem was. It turned out to be an antivirus program that I had installed that was causing the problem. They were able to diagnose the problem, get the antivirus program uninstalled and removed from my computer completely. And they took the time to explain to me why I should never use that particular brand and what to look out for when downloading an antivirus. They also took the time to install a good antivirus program, that can be used without paying for a subscription. They took the time to show me how to continue using the software for free, even after the 14 day trial was over. They showed me how to manually scan my computer using the antivirus software. They advised me to use it daily, and explained what to do if it found something during the scan. They were able to do all of this while I was there in the shop. I didn't have to drop it off and come back to get it, like I expected to have to do. And they only charged me $35 to fix the problem. I have used Tech ER several times to fix my devices. They are now my go to place when something stops working. I know that I can trust them and they won't over charge me. I also really like the way that they treat me as a customer. In the past I have gone to other laptop/cell phone repair companies that treated me like they didn't really want my business. I have never been made to feel like that at Tech ER. No matter what I bring to them they always treat me like my problem is important to them, and literally every time I have been in there I have ended up paying less than I expected to
