Do not use the Verizon store on 223 Indian Lake Blvd, Hendersonville, TN. I was having the issue of not receiving emails. After reading online from Apple that their iOS 18.2 had email issues, it was recommended that the phone settings be checked, so I stopped by this store. The guy not helping me, only suggested that I delete the Mail app and reinstall it. He wouldn't check any of the phone settings at all. It's BS when you pay almost a car payment to them each month but they don't want to help you at all. This Verizon store is horrible. read more

So look, I have Big, BIG, huge issues with corporate verizon. But this store? Incredible customer care. I see Trisha mentioned in another review, and she is freaking fantastic. As was Alexius. Manager Deigo also helped me close out an incredibly frustrating and enraging experience with my broken phone with grace. FYI, do NOT buy the flip phone 4 or any later iteration. Some fatal flaws. Now I'm stuck buying insurance until when I have to get a new phone because it is so prone to breakage and issues. I was in-store for over 2 hours troubleshooting and then on multiple calls with Asurion. I had given up my insurance 3 months ago because I'm stubborn and super-careful. Lesson learned with this mal-developed, should be put out of production phone I'm not stuck with (and my guess is they'll have to replace again). Having worked in Customer Care for 7 years, I can attest to this store's patience, persistence, wisdom, caring, compassion, grace, good humor CORPORATE VERIZON? Y'all can go f-ck yourselves for your shoddy financial practices with issues. In 18 months, I've been through 4 of your wifi boxes, had to use a week's worth of vacation time cumulatively, arranging logitics to work out-of-home and crazy stress (and I don't get stressed unless it's tech or family-related). I've asked for managers for help with credits and whatnot and to very little avail. And this stupid, sh-tty phone? I point-blank asked the store where I purchased it if I should be aware of any issues. I've missed work today and will miss 6-12 hours tomorrow on top of 10 hours today for this ridiculousness. Ride-share costs to and from. Having to leave the dog I'm pet sitting for to deal with this. If not under warranty, I'd be buying a new phone, which I can't well afford. When we thought in-store my insurance was still active, it was still $100 that couldn't be waived despite my heavily advocating for it. And I didn't drop, break, spill anything or damage it. It just stopped working. While I think insurance is often just a bunch of BS, you all have corneed me into having coverage until my phone dies. Or until a competitor does better. You've absolutely lost my loyalty. I have friends who work with Asurion. I've long bad-mouthed excessive insurance. I can't believe I'm praising an insurance company and having to slam you. Which I'll do on your mainstream website when I feel like wasting any more time on your shoddy practices. My online reviews are proactively positive 99% of the time. You've driven me to negative insanity. Get a grip and serve your f-cking true stakeholders and NOT investors first. Your frontline customer care is priceless. Empower your next-level managers to be more helpful, accomodating and rewarding. Especially to life-long customers. Which you've just lost one of as soon as I pay this piece of crap off and find a more customer-friendly provider. Bought my wife an iPhone 14 Pro and needed help setting it up. We were lucky enough to get probably the best experience we've ever had from a store rep from any location (Apple, Verizon, Best Buy, etc.). Ponciano ("Ponci") was excellent, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, not to mention genuine and just simply a really nice guy trying to make the best life for him and his young family. He took the time to explain everything, patiently troubleshooting issues that came up, and even made sure my wife's CarPlay was working correctly before we left. He is the main reason that we've stayed with Verizon for so long....good people giving great service with a smile. Hope to hear a Yelp response back from the store manager at Indian Lake and recognize this young man for making your store and Verizon shine! read more

If I could no stars I would. We went in today to transfer a phone number from a different carrier to a brand new phone with verizon. The gentlemen helping us today was provided all the information he needed including the correct phone number. Somehow he pulled a different number from the other carrier. When we brought it to the attention the of the manager he told us we were out of luck and that he couldn't do anything for us besides pay off the phone we just traded in for, buy another phone, pay a restocking fee, and add another line to switch that "wrong" number over to verizon. I've spent 4+ hours getting transferred between verizon representatives to get this issue resolved. I am highly unimpressed with the stores response to THEIR MISTAKE. read more

Very disappointing experience. My elderly father managed to lock himself out of his new smartphone and the phone was useless. I made an appointment and came in for assistance, and I was advised by Blake that there was nothing they could do. The only suggestion he had for me was to go to a cell phone repair store and "see if they have any software they can install to give us access to the phone". I even asked about doing a factory reset but he said there was nothing that could be done by Verizon and that I would need to go to the repair shop. I was dismayed that there was nothing they could do to assist me, so I left with a useless phone and went to the repair shop. The tech at the shop was super helpful and did a factory reset within a couple of minutes, at no charge. Within a short time I was on my way and the phone was fully functioning. Today I had some great service at the Verizon store in Hendersonville, TN. Yesterday my phone fell from the chair and half my screen was black. I spent a half-hour with Trisha this morning and we figured out a plan, pricing, etc. I needed to leave but said I would return this afternoon with my phone and would also bring my daughter and her phone to get fixed. When I returned, Trisha was gone but Ponci was there. He worked with us for over 2 hours. I was so impressed with the patience and great customer service of both Trisha and Ponci. When we left, everything was done to our satisfaction. Ponci was supposed to leave at 5:00 but he stayed till 6:00 to help us finish. I am so thankful for all they did for us. I purchased the iPhone 14 yesterday and today am told that I would only be credited HALF the value originally committed!! This store is horrible just like it always has been for years! Had horrible experiences there 4 years ago. Thought I'd try again. They will lie to your face as if it's no big deal. I was told by a customer service rep at this store that Verizon doesn't honor my corporate discount from my employer anymore. Guess what, they do after visiting another Verizon location and couldn't tell me why I would be told such a thing. They just needed to pull up my account to verify, linked to my cell number. So I went back to purchase an accessory screen cover. Just to try a different employee. They tell me that no discount is available on the pure.gear screen protector. So I went to another Verizon store, they asked my phone number and honored my 20% off discount through my employer. Never again.. Be a great place for a legitimate business! read more

Just went into this Verizon location to simply change my number over to my new phone. Walked in and they have one person working behind the counter and two employees talking and joking around behind the counter. After standing and waiting for anyone to talk to me one of the employees who was just joking around behind the counter comes up to me and I tell him what I'm wanting to do. Maybe 10min of work if he was slow as I have already transferred everything to my new phone and just need the number moved over. He tells me they are appointment only and he could try to squeeze me in in about 45min because they only have one person working that could do that. Every time I go into this location it gets worse. Any other location is a better choice or simply calling into Verizon is more helpful than trying to get the employees in this location to work. Not returning again! I was also lied to about a prepaid iPhone. I was told I only needed to pay 1 month of pre paid service to be able to use it on their full network. RUN AWAY FAST !.!.!.!.!.! If I could give this store negative stars I would!!! This store is a rip off and blatantly steals your money. Go to any other store, or better yet, AT&T where they have sales people with integrity and know the value of customer service. I will be working in a Verizon only cell service area for the next couple of months and needed to change from my current provider. Changed to a Verizon prepaid plan in a small town in Kentucky with no issues and no activation fee. My wife and I went to this store in Hendersonville to add my wife and daughter to my prepaid plan and they charged me a $35 activation fee for each phone - $70!!!! Verizon wireless does not charge activation fees for prepaid accounts. As they handed us our receipt, all folded up so we weren't able to immediately read the details, they explained that the $70 was for my prepaid unlimited plan in advance that was currently mid month in payment. My wife unfolded the receipt and noticed the receipt had $35 activation charges on it for each phone and no credits towards my active plan. We were never told this prior to payment and when we asked why are we being charged the fees, the Manager said all phones have activation fees. He bold face lied!!!!! He then indicated online only shows activation fees as the last step. Second lie!!!! He said he cannot help with a credit or refund. Third lie!!!! I hate being lied to and deceived. The manager and rep who was helping us knew they were over charging us and did NOT care. That $70 obviously goes in their pockets. We left the store but decided to look up policies on Verizon's web site. It clearly says, "NO activation fees for prepaid accounts". We go back to the store and ask for the refund or credit for the over charge. The manager said "I cannot do anything about giving you any money back" He wasn't apologetic, helpful, or even tried to rectify the situation. Even after pointing out this policy on the Verizon website he argued it was only for online activations. Here I sit on hold with customer service trying to get this straight and get my $70 plus tax back. It took 1 1/2 hrs on the phone with an associate and I demanded to speak to a manager. The customer service manager Thomas obviously knows the value of customer service and credited our account $80. He also confirmed that we indeed had interpreted Verizon's website correctly and there are never activation fees for prepaid accounts. Thank you sir. Perhaps the manager at the Hendersonville store needs to have further training in Verizon's policies, customer service, and how to deal with conflict. This has been one giant Cluster $&@#!!!!!!! I will never ever return to this Verizon store. I will go back to AT&T first before having to deal with this store. Verizon Corporate please take a look at how this store operates. Finally, after years of dealing with Verizon run-arounds and lame excuses in California, where we originally signed up with Verizon, this store in Hendersonville was a breath of fresh air. We stopped into the store on our way to switch service from Verizon to Sprint because I didn't expect to get any more help here than we had in the Bay Area. We walked into the store and were greeted immediately by Keith, who listened to to my concerns about the phone I had been sold in CA, and problems with our iPhone. Keith explained my phone situation better than anyone had before, and apologized for my previous experience. He made every effort to resolve our issues to our satisfaction, even though his store had nothing to do with the problems. Keith kept us from walking away and switching to Sprint, and we're glad he did. We just didn't expect to be treated so well, when we hadn't been at other Verizon stores. We're extremely happy with the outcome, and we understand our service options better now, as well. We will definitely be doing business here again and highly recommend this store--and Keith. read more

Paid hundreds for a fully activated phone. Was told that it would activate when turned on. It did not activate. Brought it back. Was told I needed to call customer service. I told them there's no phone to do that on, only the one I just bought that's not activated. The employee I was working with tried to send me off without an activated phone even though hundreds were paid for an activated phone. I told him this is unacceptable, I don't know how to activate phones and out of all places to activate a phone, a freaking Verizon store would be the place. He tried to tell me that he's not responsible for activating it, but he will "try" and "it is what it is" Actually, it isn't what it is. Verizon is my carrier and I just bought a brand new phone through them, Verizon is absolutely supposed to help their customers activate their phones. I finally spoke to the manager, Alex, and told her that anything less than an activated phone when I leave is unacceptable. She agreed. Alex, if you're reading this, fire that guy. No customer service or sales skill and zero ambition. He wanted to send me away with a phone that I can't activate and shouldn't have to after I paid your company hundreds of dollars, not to mention the hundreds I pay you guys every month. My wife and I walked into the Verizon store located at 223 Indian Lake BLVD, in Hendersonville, Tennessee on Friday January 4th 2019. Within a short time, a Verizon representative by the name of Greg asked to assist us. We were there to look at a new phone for my wife. She wanted to trade her iPhone 6 with a broken glass screen for something that is an iPhone , but newer. I harassed Greg on everything he showed my wife for about 30 minutes. Greg did not know how to take me, he just kept trying to give my wife great service and to meet her wants in finding her next iPhone. After about 45 minutes, Greg had to order her a new red iPhone XR. When we left, my wife was upset on how I treated Greg. Greg took it well. So I contacted my stepson and asked him if he wanted to upgrade his iPhone X to a newer iPhone. He said sure and he met us there about 30 minutes later. Greg immediately came back up to us without hesitation to see how he could assist us again. Greg was so great I even upgraded my iPhone 6 to a new iPhone XR. I had not mentioned that the Verizon HR personal was there observing. I sat down and cut up with her. She was fun to talk with and represented Verizon management well. My wife and I greatly appreciate the professionalism Greg showed us, and we are so happy with our new iPhone. If you visit the Hendersonville's Verizon, please asked for Greg.
