AT&T Manhattan Store Harvey, Louisiana…read more Ongoing Phone and Account Issues I have experienced ongoing issues with my phone since purchasing it approximately three years ago. My husband's phone and my phone appeared to be connected in a way that caused changes on one device to affect the other. For example, when we tried to update the email information on either Samsung phone, the profile information changed on the other phone as well. We visited the AT&T store on Manhattan a few months after the purchase because we could not change the email accounts on our phones. The representative/technician was unable to determine the cause of the issue. As a result, we continued using the phones as they were until we eventually created another Gmail account. During that process, we lost settings, pictures, and other data. Store Visit on September 9, 2026 On September 9, 2026, I went to the store for assistance with the phone issues described above. The representative was unpleasant and unhelpful. When I entered the empty store, it seemed as though the staff did not want to be bothered. The representative told me, "I am a salesperson, not a technician." Two other representatives suggested that I would need to get the phones and put them on manual settings, but they did not provide meaningful assistance or show understanding of the problem. When I said I would contact the corporate office, their response was unprofessional; they said, "Go ahead."

This review is not about the Marrero Store. This review is…read moreabout Cox Cable Via telephone . I called Cox Cable to speak about them matching a offer ATT had given me. I spoke to the Cox Agent who stated they couldn't match ATT's offer so I said that I would be turning in my Cox Equipment to the Local Cox Store near me and terminating my service. Soon after that I received Texts and emails stating my requested service change adding 500GB to my plan was complete !!! And that my new bill was $30 HIGHER than what I was paying !! I called Cox back and spoke to another Agent and told him that I DID NOT request any changes. He said that he would speak to a Supervisor and that they would look into it. He said he took the change off. Soon after I called back and spoke to another agent and explained that I was leaving Cox because they couldn't match ATT's price and that agent said Cox could match the price and transferred me to the retention Department and that Agent had no info and knew nothing. I explained what happened and said I DO NOT WANT ANY CHANGES on my Service. Soon after that I received Texts and emails stating that my request for in Service Wiring Service was complete !! And that my Bill was going up $35 a month !!! I called back and a Cox Agent told me he was going to report this matter to a Supervisor and what I got out of our conversation was that some Cox Employees added those Service changed to get "END of Month Credits" !!! Thinking I was leaving Cox soon and wouldn't know !! Not knowing I would get Texts and Emails advising me of the changes !! If that is FACT these Employees need to be FIRED !! Making Credits at my expense !! That is DISHONEST and Shouldn't be Tolerated !! Cox Cable I thought and think iss better than that !! Cox Cable if truly sorry about me being a VICTIM of FRAUD should call me directly and apologize !! Unfortunate and UNBELIEVABLE !!

I brought it around 2 in the evening and they tell me to come back around 6pm to get it. At 6pm it still wasn't fixed and I had to wait for another tech to come in due to the female tech not being comfortable with fixing earpieces. and to come back at 8 or if I could come back the next morning to pick it up. I explain that that doesn't work for me due to having to work from home and my verification software is connected to my phone. So I decide to just wait two other techs look at my phone then ask where the crack on my phone was it probably messed up the ear piece I the explain that it was working with the screen being broken. They tried their hardest to try and make it seem like they didn't cause the problem. I didn't get my phone back to almost 9pm. After 2 days I started having battery issues the phone barely charges and goes from 98% to 20%. Not sure if they messed my battery up or didn't fully connect it back but I will never ever go there again. They are the worst. Now I have to pay someone else to fix something they messed up.

I had been with DirecTV for 7 years and hated having to hassle with them every year to lower my…read morebill to a price I was willing to pay. It was the same thing every year, call them up and tell them that my bill was too high and then they would enact some discounts that would save me about $30 a month but were only good for a year. So the next year I'd have to call them up and do it all over again. Well last November when I called to complain about my bill they refused to lower the rate. I guess that now they're a part of AT&T they are unwilling to negotiate on price. So I decided to try switching to DISH. BIG MISTAKE!!!!! DISH suckers you in with their low initial rate but then once you add in extra packages to get what you want it ends up costing MUCH more. I believe their current introductory package starts off at $39. Sounds pretty good right? But wait, you want local channels? Well that's not included. You have to pay an extra $10 a month for that. Who the hell doesn't want local channels?!?! You want a DVR? That's extra also. You have 2 TV's? Yep there's an extra charge for that too. So my monthly bill ended up being $70 a month. That's quite a jump from $39 but still better than I was getting with DirecTV so I decided to go for it. The phone operator told me about the 2 year contract and I told him, "Hey wait a minute. I'm not signing up for 2 years when I haven't even tried your service out yet." I forget what he told me exactly but he definitely gave me the impression that I could cancel if I didn't like the service. When the DISH installer came out to set up my equipment I also asked him about a trial period and he told me I had 30 days to cancel. So everything was going OK until the day of the Super Bowl. We missed the end of the game so I tried to find highlights on ESPN only to find out the package I had did not include ESPN!!!! I called up DISH and was told, "If you want sports channels, that's an extra $10 a month." Gimme a break. What a scam! So now I'd have to pay $80 a month for pretty much basic cable. No pay channels like HBO. I just wanted the standard stuff like Food Network, HGTV, ESPN. So the next higher package was $84 a month and included ESPN but took away DIY and Cooking Channel!!!!! How frickin lame!!! So now I wasn't saving money over DirecTV anymore and decided to cancel the service. I had DISH send out the installer to remove their DISH and take their boxes back. To top it all off now they're trying to charge me a $500 early termination fee even though 2 people at their company told me their was a trial period!! I have filed a complaint with the Denver Better Business Buereau and I will be taking DISH to small claims court if they refuse the waive the fee. Stay far away from this company people. Their channel packages are completely predatory and set up so that the only way you can get the channels you want is to pay for the expensive plans.
