Everything could improve. From the customer service to the billing. Every month my bill has unexplained charges. When I call to ask about them, there's always some bogus excuse. I decided to leave and was told by the rep on the phone that they would not release my phone number. I've had this number for almost 20 years. I went with my GF to get a simple phone upgrade. They immediately tried to get her to redo her current plan which she was more than happy with. They wanted to redo her Netflix account also which she has never had and issue with. No matter how they did it they had her paying at least $50 more a Month while saying we were getting a great deal. She kept asking why to deaf ears. Changing phones didn't change anything. They also unlocked her phone security without really explaining why........... They never really explained why she could not keep here original plan also. We felt like we were buying a new car not a simple phone upgrade. We went home and called Verizon who simply directed us to there online store........ Much better service and online help. No salesman tricks to sell you things you don't need. BEWARE!! read more

After a year of thinking about it I decided today was the day to purchase an Apple Watch. I went to Florence to the Verizon Store and they didn't have the rose gold one I wanted. I was going to settle the black one and buy a new band. The lady came from the back and said they didn't have the black one in the size I wanted either. I was really bummed. I wanted it today. Y'all, I tell you I have been a Verizon customer for 20 years, and I have always gotten the best service at that store. The lady who was helping me told SHE would go to the other store and get my watch, that she would set it up, and call me when it was ready. I told her I appreciated it and that would be awesome. Not realizing there was another authorized Verizon store in Florence I asked her where the other store was. She said, "Darlington." I was shocked. This woman spent her lunch hour going to Darlington to get MY watch, brought it back, set it up, called me, and stayed after after when she was supposed to get off to help me. Well I came to Verizon on David McLoed Blvd on December 10th 2021 and was told that I had 7 people ahead of me and they would call me when it was my turn. Today is December 11,2021 and I still did not get my call! Pissed!?! Yes you could say that! This is ridiculous and today I went in and saw 2 ladies who could have been taking care of 2 people, but no they were just talking together. One of them was the one who checked me in yesterday. Oh man! My husband was like honey don't say anything... OMG! If they don't have enough people to work then get more people! Oh yeah there was a lady who was there because she had ordered a new phone and it didn't have a charger. The Verizon girl told her oh they don't include them anymore, but we sell them here. She left so mad she could have eaten nails. So now we sit in Red Bowl killing time to see if we get a call today! If not we may just head over to Spectrum next and get phone service there. It's really hard to believe that with Christmas coming that they are so unorganized. I know it's all due to COVID! I know Covid is still out there, but after so long and if you're going to be open then do your damned job right! But it seems here in Florence we only have one or two places that are actually good customer service. And this ain't one! Lord Lord please help me not get so mad at whomever I get to finally wait on me. Now I'm down to 2 ahead of me and I was waiting inside and was just told we would have to leave to make room for the appointment people. Not sure why when there were other seats open and I have a boot on my one foot to fix it...so not easy to walk a lot. Customer service again is damned near unheard of in Florence SC! Here at Verizon it's nonexistent. And here we wait for my turn. If I could do it online I would but that didn't work right yesterday either. Maybe we should just move the hell out of Florence. I had an appointment and waited an hour for that appointment. Worse is I was there for one of the iPads that I had bought a year ago which still was not getting service. I had contacted IT Chat support 4 times and every time they said it was fixed. Obviously, it was not. I got to enjoy the service team constantly trying to up sell customers who came in. read more

Verizon - Lobby were you wait forever - Mobile Phones Near Me - Florence, South Carolina

Placed my order online for a pick up and when I got there and waited 45 mins they then advised me they were canceling my order. They advised you cannot pick the selected phone up from in store after ordering online. So I had to repay the fees over and they said I would be refunded from the first order. Well after 3 customer service calls later I found out that IT IS NOT TRUE!!!! I been calling since ab my refund and everyone telling me different things. Not only is it an inconvenience but the reps advised I go back up to Verizon. I have limited time and I work two job and this Verizon make you sit in your car until someone become available. Well I seen people trying to get in and reps in the store were not helping anyone and they still didn't let others come in. Next time I will wait for my upgrade to come in the mail instead of going in a Verizon store. read more

I need to give 0 stars, but that is not an option. Calling in to speak with someone is a horrible experience. We have had TWO verizon reps hang up on us!!! I returned a phone to the Florence Store (David McLeod Blvd) over 2 months ago. I never got any credit for my "trade in". Now I cannot get anyone to help me. They say I have to go back to the store & wait (2 hours last time) to see if they can help me. Although the phone was physically put in their hands - and I have paperwork, Verizon rep (on phone) said they are not responsible because it was never sent to the proper person!!! read more

Wuite possibly the worst business in South Carolina waited for two and a half hours for my "turn" when i sat down the employee turned her back on me and started putting cases and screen protector s on two phones for a gentleman that had just walked in this took another 20 minutes we have the extra insurance so the phone is supposed to be covered the employee looked at the phone and said oh the camera has a crack we can't replace it. She said I would need to file a claim. When I informed her that I had tried this 3 different times the previous evening she called a number and was put on hold. She then wrote some numbers on a paper and said when they answer give them these numbers and walked away to help another customer needless to say when the person at asuure the ins. Company asked two questions and said nope we will transfer you so know I've been on hold for another 30 minutes. The woman at the door checking people in is rude and condescending. I would drive to Pennsylvania to a store before ld ever walk through these doors again Do not waste your money on the insurance because it is just another scam insurance company they will do anything not to cover a claim read more
