I went to the Clinton store, but they are now closed. As the problem is Verizon in general, I will leave review here... I went to upgrade to the I phone 17 on 10/1, but was convinced to get the 16 promotion instead as I would get the phone for free, as long as I added another line. When I said I didn't need or want to pay for another line, I was assured that I would not be charged for the line. I asked over and over again, why (loss leader) and if they were SURE it would be free (ABSOLUTELY) until I finally believed them and agreed to the 16 promotion rather than getting the 17. I then spent 45 minutes watching the guy remove my three hot spots, as we don't use them, and replace a $68 multi device insurance charge with three $7.95 per device insurance coverages. Fast forward to my next bill: Charged for the additional line, the three hot spots, the $68 AND the three individual insurance charges of $7.95. I called 7 times between then and 2 days ago, spoke to supervisors, was credited all 7 times, paid the amount I was told, BY VERIZON to pay, until finally receiving an email threatening disconnection for having a past due balance after paying said amount! After yet another call and feeling like all was FINALLY resolved, the outage happened and I thought they had disconnected me lol... I will be leaving Verizon the very second someone else will buy out my family's phones. Verizon used to be worth the extra bucks, but I can get shitty service for less money anywhere... read more

They Lie and Steal! I was told I was going to get a $700 credit to trade in an old Iphone that I never got. I did not have the phone with me, but they told me to just drop the phone off the following day and I did. I was told I would get the credit in 2-3 billing cycles. 18 months later.. Despite stopping by the store in person 10+ times being told each time that it would be taken care of in 2-3 billing cycles... I called their customer service which told me the same thing until the last time, they said that it has been so long that they could only give me $300 +/- in $20 credit on the bills going forward. This from a foreign telemarketing sounding negotiator! I have a business account and 10 phones and have been a customer since the late 90's... I will be switching away from Verizon on principle. Dealing with Verizon is worse than a bureaucratic state office with the exception they have some polite people with Zero Authority on the front end with serves only to deceive you to thinking that you will be taken care of while employing delay and deceptive practices. It is cruel job for these people who work in the stores. No wonder they have such a high turnover as honest and helpful people can't work for such a company. UPDATE July 6th, 2025. We were entitled to $1250 worth of rebates ($250/line for 5 lines) NEVER received the rebate and I've been fighting with this location and Verizon for over 6 months. This was my third visit to a company Verizon Store (One in Maryland and One in New Jersey) My frustration at other stores was the unfriendly attitude and the sense that all they attempted to do was sell on various services that were not needed (e.g insurance on the phone at $17/month). So when I walked into the Flemington, NJ store I immediately asked for the manager. I was amazed how kind and friendly Marie the manager was and her staff. Marie clearly explained the pricing related to my trade in and clearly compared my current bill to my new bill. I might add that Kristen , a staff specialist was also amazingly helpful to my wife and I. I think the customer service is worse than Walmart. Irritating that they tell you that have a great deal. Seems great, but they don't tell you the perks you lose when you switch plans. I went from 5g to the 4 g because of all the goodies you get. Didn't tell me I would lose my hotspot. I was online with a customer service rep asking about compatibility or the Orbic 4g. I took my iPhone X for a SIM card change in the morning. After that, the phone worked well at the store but it stopped working once I got home. I called Technical Support. They did not find any issues with the cell towers in my neighborhood. After trying many things to deal with the issue, they advised to go back to the store and get a new SIM card. When I went to the store in the afternoon, the person at Verizon in Rt 202 in Flemington flatly refused to change the SIM. Without any evidence, and contrary to the Technical Support advise, he said that there was a problem with the towers; that I had to wait even if it took days for the service to be restored. When I asked for more details, he was totally rude, and pugnacious. It is correct that the phone worked at the store - which was befuddling - but he did not try to figure it out, and help me. I called Technical Support again. It turned out that the SIM card they installed was for the 5G network. An iPhone X does not support 5G, and that is the reason my phone was acting all wonky. Warning to all: These Verizon stores are a scam, not actual Verizon company stores. Their job is to sell you upgrades, not help you with pre-existing issues. I dealt with two stores today. The Rt. 202 store sent me in an endless automated loop, trying to sell me upgrades and new phones, and the location by Lowe's falsely told me that Verizon will no longer be selling flip phones and I would have to upgrade to a smartphone in January. I was misinformed to my face, as I finally got in touch with the actual Verizon company and given the proper information, including the fact that these stores are barely associated with the company, and rarely give out correct information. And by the way, for anyone who wants to know, Verizon still makes 4G flip phones and they will not stop working after January. The legitimate technical Verizon assistant, Lisa, gave me all this info over the phone, was friendly, truthful, and so helpful. She set up phone meetings with me and took her time to answer every single question. I give Lisa five stars, but if I could give the Flemington Verizon "stores" a star review, it would be zero stars. This store used to provide great customer service and tech support. Not anymore. I brought in a replacement phone to get everything switched over and I was told that do not do this. They said, "they would teach me how to do it". I told them I wasn't interested in that and one of the reasons I have Verizon is for them to provide this of type service. Every time I visit this store there are issues with rude associates. Visited yesterday to upgrade my phone. Was not interested in the monthly insurance. Politely said no to the girl at the counter. She asked me there more times about insurance on the phone. I again said no. She then said perhaps I could buy it for just three months only. No means no. Who needs this badgering. I see multiple associates busy but if there is a line which is being used for serving customers is definitely not First In First Out. I can't say enough about this store and Ryan in particular. About two years ago, I walked in the store very distraught as my flip phone was slowly losing power and was unable to be charged. Unfortunately my dog had just passed and I was about to lose all the pictures. Ryan was having trouble saving them but kept my phone with the promise that he would save and transfer them and he did. Fast forward to present day and I brought in a run over crushed phone. Once again, he went out of his way to help me. He really went the extra mile. I would only see Ryan in the future. read more

Customer service is lacking here, called about a phones availability and apparently sales is a associate that speaks little to no english. I was told she was "outside" and couldn't help me and to wait for her to call back in 5 minutes which never happened. I went to the store only to be judged by the manager who basically told me they did not have it and to look at the other more expensive phones with as much enthusiasm and emotional range of a teaspoon. Stop with the upselling, I have been a loyal customer for years and have dealt with the store alot from them deleting my entire phone contacts and info when changing phones to nonexistent customer service I might stay with verizon however I am never purchasing from this store again. Corporate definitely needs to examine their managerial staff pronto. However some of the staff is great however a few bad eggs ruins the bunch. read more
