Terrible customer service. Quoted for a half hour wait on the notification texted to my phone. So I wait in my car, an hour goes by and I go in. Don't get greeted for another half hour, and they said they already called me and admitted I wasn't notified I was up via text notification. Apparently they expect you to stand in the store looking at the wall for a long time. Then when I finally get to the desk my mom is the acct manager and when I got my mom on the phone from the number that is the account manager, when my mom told them to let me upgrade the phone, they said she had to be in person, and when my mom objected the lady said "You can just hang up the phone, I'm not going to talk to her". Should have gotten it in writing!!! My husband and I went to see about upgrading my iphone and giving my current phone to one of our granddaughters. Salesperson, Don, told us if we traded in her phone (iphone 8 which we gave her last time) we'd get at least $440. So I bought a new iphone 13 pro ($1,000), but when we brought her phone in for the trade-in - the lady with the "manager" tag said it was only worth 72 dollars!!!!! And that lady said there were no trade-in deals this month!!!! If you go to Verizon be on guard!!!!!! Very disappointed in the business practices. This is the Verizon store on S. I have been a customer with Verizon for 17 years and I have had excellent customer service at this particular location. When I walked up to the door, a salesperson was there to open the door and they got me in and out quickly. The service that the company provides is top notch, but the pricing for the service itself is not ideal compared to their competitors. Although I love Verizon and the service they provide, I ultimately just recently switched to a company that is charging less than half of what I paid with Verizon. Spoke too soon. Went back to buy a jet pack for internet at home. Got it home and it's not what I thought. After two days it slows to a pace that I can't even use for work. The bill comes and instead of $114 it's $283.93!!! I was already going to call to return the jet pack that day when the bill came. The lady on the phone says when did you buy it? Me: o don't remember. What does it say in the computer? Verizon: Was it a week ago, a couple weeks, a month... Me: 2 weeks ago. Verizon: Well it's past 14 days so you can't return it! Me: 14 days IS two weeks! Why didn't you just say that before asking when I bought it!?
