I can't believe your offering someone a better deal when you stuck me in a $112.00 a month phone bill...I was on government funded fone and paid nothing and my first bill was to be $98.00 that was $40 activation and bill. No then it went to 112.00 then 132.00 , then 151.00! While I had Verizon watching this happen but couldn't explain why, and then my Jan 29tj date moved to 20th! And its still there and bill is still $131.00! It's sad when you took advantage of someone that's on a monthly low income living..I'm also a senior Verizon did me wrong I can't pay 130.00 and hey I told her someone messed up because im to be on 55.00 plan and to be honest I was signing up with straight talk. I moved from Cherry Hill, NJ to Mays Landing , NJ in March 2024. I was a Verizon / Fios customer for approximately 16 years. When I moved to Mays Landing I found out that Fios was not available so I signed up with Xfinity for my TV and Internet. I maintained my Verizon Mobile service. I was having trouble connecting my Samsung phone in my new home. After a month, I went to the Verizon store and requested service for my phone because I wasn't connecting at home. The representative looked at my phone, checked my account and said you earned a new free Samsung phone. I asked if my phone could be repaired. He said it doesn't matter because you get a free phone. He set up my new free phone with all my current information. Unfortunately, I was still having connection problems at home. Then I added a landline ($30 per month in addition to $61 for my mobile phone=$91). I called Verizon several times to resolve my connection issues (sometime up to an hour on the phone). The customer service associates were very nice but my service was still poor. One customer service associate said "it looks like you need at least 2 more towers in your area". I was tired of complaining with no results. I was paying for a mobile service that I wasn't getting. I finally decided to go to Xfinity. Yesterday I received a bill for the remaining mobile service $60.87 and $585.86 for the FREE phone. Shame on you Verizon. After the many years of doing business with you! I was paying for mobile service $61 per month that I wasn't getting. How do you justify that???? read more

I used to love Verizon in general not speaking about this any an individual store. But there customer service on the 800 number is the worst. You can't get to a live person without going thru the automated system which each time took me a good ten minutes They have no interest in keeping their customers and make sure you read all the fine print about their deals. read more

I sent my mom here to get the new Pixel 8 and a galaxy watch 6. Employee name Reggie lied to her about the phone not being compatible with the watch. After I looked it up on Samsungs website (took me 20 seconds) I insisted he give her the new Pixel 8 I sent her to buy. After I got off the phone, Reggie conned her into getting a Galaxy s23 anyway by lying about resell value and build quality with no proof to back it up. My mom came home with the wrong phone. I guess Samsung was giving out sales bonuses this month. Don't trust this store to be honest with you about the products, they push you into whatever gets them the better commission/bonus with lies. I almost forgot, they sent my mom & dad home with a watch & 2 phones and none of them were activated lol. This store does not even deserve one star! My nephew brought his iPhone 7 in to see about a new SIM card. Long story short they talked him into upgrading, we talked sense into him and we went back that same day to return phone and get his old one back. They told us to come back the next day. Well he has been there all morning. He can return the phone but they are refusing to give him his old phone back. He called his mother and she has been on the phone with corporate Verizon while they argue with the Verizon store! They are part of Verizon and won't even listen to the corporation. Terrible service from a young guy named MD or MG at this location. I sent my mother to pick up a new phone which was preordered online and he treated her terribly! Rushed through instructions when further explanation was asked for, kept walking away abruptly with no indication of when he would return, insulting through the process. Made critical comments such as "if you can read and hold a phone then you can do a transfer yourself at home". Inpatient. Rude and borderline abusive. We have been loyal, paying customers for over 13 years. Terrible experience that has me seriously considering switching from Verizon. Went to a corporate store expecting expert service. we dealt with Ken the store manager who was fine, got us all set with phones plan etc. There was a problem with loading the new plan and he said it might take awhile to resolve to come back the next day. We weren't happy as we are 30 miles away but he said he would let us know when it was resolved. Ken was off the next day, never heard from him. I got an email about how much my next bill would be so I knew it had been resolved. We went to pick up our phones and went home. When we got home we realized the new sales person gave us the wrong phone. We had to drive up again the next day and dealt with yet another person. She was nice enough but she told us we would have to pay a restock fee for the wrong phone we were given, lol. The manager in charge said pay it and he would deduct it ( guess we will see). Left with the correct phone and have not been able to make or receive calls presumably because of something they did with the plan. When we go on the site it says we have two plans. I guess we will make yet another 30 mile trek tomorrow to try to get it resolved. There is no way to email or contact anyone at the store. It's a nightmare and a new phone has lost all appeal. Worst possible customer service. Went in to buy a phone for my wife for our anniversary. Was going to pay full price. The young man helping me tried to get me to add the phone to my account and pay monthly for the phone. I told him that I would be paying the full $700 price in cash and my wife would take care of adding it to her account at her convenience. He told me he had to talk to the supervisor and would be right back. To make a long story short when he got back he told me that he could not sell just the phone because "the store sells service not phones"! lol. what?? I went outside and called Verizon customer service and was told that YES in fact the could sell just the phone at the managers "discretion". Avoid this Verizon store, did not help my parents and used an upgrade from another line to "fix" my phone, which I had a year warranty from the manufacture which they completely ignored and discarded. He brought a phone into this establishment to have it activated, they refused to activate it and transfer his number over to his new phone. They signed me in, I sat for over 1/2 hr watched people walk in after they got taken care of, Store was empty, still sitting, I got up and asked a lady behind the counter why everyone after me was being waited on, she told me "oh there not" but they obviously were and they were finished. Visited the store to enroll in a new promotion - communicated very precisely what was wanted and left the store happy. Thankfully the Verizon system e-mailed me shortly after, revealing the salesperson added a $13/Month product on every device on my plan --- without ever breathing a word to me about it; something I never asked for; something that was never brought up in discussion. This was in addition to an already expensive purchase where cost was an obvious concern as I sought promotional discounts and savings. Very sneaky. SCAM alert!! Terrible experience and nothing like it was 10 years ago! Went to get my daughter a new iPhone and they had the color/ size combo she was seeking. Store had only 2 sales people who were helping other customers when we arrived. Waited 45 minutes to be assisted. The sales person... 1) Told us were getting 3 accessories for $90, but instead gave us 25% off totally $118. 2) Never mentioned the Verizon phone warranty, but added it to the phone for $11/month. 3) Told us we could get a waterproof speaker for $10 as a special for trading in the old iPhone. He never mentioned that what we really got was a $60 gift card which he applied to our account. And paid $79 for the speaker. 4) They do not give you a receipt with what you paid when you leave. You have to log into your account and pull it up. Had to go back the next day to return the $79 speaker, which they gave me there (after waiting 30 minutes for my turn). They said they would give me the $18 difference for the accessories as a credit to my account. It's been a week and it hasn't showed up yet. So I have to go back AND WAIT again. This place is a scam. Verizon is all about getting your money. I switched to T-Mobile and love it. After I switched Verizon is still making up bills for me to pay. Saying that I have to pay $64 because of the 2 "free" tablets I have and also charging me for a mi-fi that has been turned off for almost a year. Had a great experience here last night when boyfriend and I merged our cell phone plans. The representative who assisted us, Brooke, was delightful. She made the transition very easy and smooth and set up our new plan within about 20 minutes! Very knowledgable and friendly staff. The store itself is decently sized, very open and very clean, if a little over-staffed for their needs. We were greeted as soon as we entered and were treated with respect. Bad Experience! The sales guy told me my plan was not eligible to purchase the IPHONE 6, and another issue I had with my plan reset date needing to be reset. He told me it would take a few days to do that, and then tried to sell me a landline phone plan! I walked out, went straight to another Verizon Wireless premium location and was greeted nicely. This sales person took the necessary time, worked out all the issues with my plan and I walked out with a new IPhone 6! I was sold a wall charger on 2/14/17 at the Northfield, NJ location. I was told that the charger would work fine with my Samsung Galxy S6. After bringing the charger home, it held a charge for two days after which my charger that I keep in my car and a charger I keep at work (all ones comparable with my phone) started not working. On Saturday 2/18, I went to the Northfield store to inquire about why these chargers were not working. I was informed by an associate named Rod that the prongs inside the port were damaged and Rod gave me an 800 number to call. My wife called the 800 number and spoke to customer service who forwarded our call to a supervisor named Steve. Steve, based on the information provided, advised us to go back to the store and inform a manager that the product sold to us caused damage to my phone. As instructed by Verizon, i went back to the store and spoke to the manager on site who claimed that the information provided to me was correct and there was nothing they could do. I was told to,file a claim with Verizon. I would like Verizon to fix my phone and pay the $149.99 deductible to fix the phone. So I go into Tilton Road Verizon because of my "LG G3 Black Screen of Death" maybe to talk to a technician and get his advice. So after waiting in this kind of run down store with people standing around. This salesman comes up and I explain my problem. He sees a scratch on my screen saver and says "here is your problem a cracked screen", where I say "no that's my screen saver". So then he takes out his phone flashlight and looks in the USB port and says "Here is your problem it's all corroded." I say "No I'm not having any problems with charging or anything" (Side note went back to work and looked in it with a scientific hi powered magnifying tool the shop uses for checking fiber connections, it was perfectly clean so unless he has Spiderman eyes total B.S. After trying to explain my issue he says "We don't have technicians here we only do general troubleshooting" Nothing no technicians I'm thinking what is the sense of this place. You get better Verizon Phone deals at places like Best Buy, B.J.'s whatever so why go to this run down main Verizon Hub in our area.
