This place was great. I did just that in 30-40 minutes max at this store. I rest my case. 5 stars is well deserved for the speed of service alone, but there are many more reasons to choose this place beyond not wanting to slam your head in the door due to excessive idle wait time. The staff is young, friendly, and welcoming. Translated: they know their technology and they are efficient for your benefit as a customer - not just because they have a Facebook news feed to catch themselves up on. The store is small and neat, and it's not overloaded with 800 accessories to push on the customer. Bonus points for playing decent music at a reasonable volume instead of blasting junk so loud I want to leave. I'm 34 - not 80, but we've all been there. My apologies to the young male and female working last night for not remembering your names. That's key in a commission based line of work so if this store pays based on sales - my bad. Just know my drive back to Detroit was much better with my Beats app. Go out of your way to shop here. You'll be home sooner than if you don't.

I purchased sunglasses from the SEE Eyewear store located at 2945 Preyde Road, Lansing, Michigan…read moreback in 2008. The sunglasses fell apart within six months of purchase. After vehemently arguing with SEE Eyewear headquarters, the lenses were placed into an identical frame by the SEE lab. The second pair fell apart in the same identical location that the previous glasses did. So, to finally resolve the issue, I had SEE take the lenses and place them into a different frame. I paid $52.47 on July 16, 2010 to have SEE cut the lenses to fit the new frame. Now, the lenses are peeling. There are cloudy blotches within the lenses. On Thursday, June 9, 2011, I left the sunglasses with one of SEE's associate at the Lansing store asking what is SEE going to do about replacing the lenses or fixing them in someway?? Is it necessary for me to Small Claims Court?? SEE responded to me through e-mail and told me to take my business else where. Today, July 29, 2011, met a SEE representative in Small Claim Courts. The Court first wanted to try mediation and had us both present our arguments to them. After I showed the sunglasses AND my regular glasses to the mediator, which clearly have blotches and peeling on the both of them, the SEE representative suggested that I was probably cleaning my counters and got chemicals on them. I responded that I didn't get the blotches from cleaning my counters. She need said, "Oh, you don't clean your counters?" She then indicated that I had coating on the glasses which caused blotchy cloudiness after a few years. I then pulled out my glasses that I bought from another eyeglass store about 6-7 years ago. They were crystal clear. She then said that when I took the glasses off my face incorrectly that damages the frames. What does that have to do with the lenses being blotchy and cloudy?? She also brought the warranty policy, which only covers one year. But even though the glasses are over a year old, my glasses from the other eye wear store are much older and they are still clear. Because the magistrate had left, the hearing had to be re-scheduled. While waiting for the clerk to give us the new paperwork, I said to the SEE rep, "who would wear their sunglasses to clean counters?? The glasses are merely made of inferior materials and SEE will not accept responsibility for their inferior products. The SEE rep said something really nasty to me and then I said something very nasty in return. She then told me how ignorant I was, and that it was expected of me. Typical. Basically, what she was saying is that all African-Americans are expected to act and behave in an ignorant manner. After we got the paperwork, I waited about 20 minutes to make sure she had driven off because I did not want any more contact with her.
