I was surprised to see such low ratings on Yelp for this place...Our experience here was extremely positive! Husband and I visited to look at some cable + wifi packages, and Dan did a wonderful job helping us. Dan walked us through some options, broke down the costs, and showed us the details to each option. He also looked into deals and discounts (since we use Verizon for our cellphones too) and found us a sweet deal. Everything was printed out and explained to us clearly, and pretty straightforward. We ended up setting up our wifi + cable the very day! (Thank you, Dan!) The downside of this place is DEFINITELY the location. It's hard to get in to this place unless you're on the store-side of Transit. Other than that, would definitely recommend! :) read more

This place is alright. It's not an official Verizon store, but yet a reseller so they are not able to return items bought at others stores. This was definitely an inconvenience. The store itself is neatly laid out and the representative was helpful, but just be aware: you may not get the service here that you would get from other stores that are owned by Verizon. I came in with an iPhone 6 that was not connecting to data outside of wifi range. I was told that I would need a new phone and that insurance would not cover it because it was not a "damaged" phone. The guy suggested I try a new SIM card as old ones could have trouble connecting. Tried that, didn't work. Begrudgingly, I opted to buy the iPhone 7. The employee started the process of backing up my iPhone 6 but for some reason did not wait until the process had finished to erase the contents and set up my new phone (did not realize that till later). There was an error with the Apple log-in during set up so I had to complete it at home. I set up my brand new iPhone with outdated settings.. and STILL was having the same connectivity problem. I call the next day (refused to go into the store this time) and a woman suggests I refresh the network settings so the phone can reconnect to local cell towers. It worked. In the end, 10 seconds and someone who was knowledgeable about phone service was all it took. I guess from reading other reviews it seems like the staff working here are not (all?) trained technicians so that is why the "easy fix" was not suggested in the first place. Boy, do I feel duped. I will never come in here again. TLDR; I came in with a simple iPhone problem that was not addressed by Verizon staff. Instead I was led to believe I needed to buy a new phone. read more

Absolutely terrible. If your in the market for a new phone do not go to this store. When I purchased a new phone they added insurance to my plan without even telling me. About 6 months later my wife bought a new phone and guess what? they added insurance to her plan without telling us. This is one of the most disreputable businesses I have come across in a long time. Everything the salesman told me was a lie. He told me the cases for my phone's were $30, but put $160 on the bill. He told me the unlimited plan would be $80, but it was $150. He told me the phone would be $22 a month, but it was $45.The scumbag is Jon Calabro. Do not do business with this store. Find a Verizon corporate store, and especially don't do business with Jon Calabro. Every word out of his mouth is a lie. I had to spend over a hour on the phone with Verizon. I ended up with a 10gb plan that still cost more than the $80 I was quoted. To Verizon's credit they agreed to honor the $22 price, Stay away from authorized resellers, especially this one. read more

We used to go to the Transit and Main Street Verizon store to address our cell service needs. Then this store opened up about 1.5 miles from home. YAY! Our contract was up and we wanted new phones, so we headed over to take care of business. This store is SO much less busy than the Transit & Main store. We walked right in and sat right down with Giovanni. At Transit and Main we've always been in a queue with at least 3-4 people ahead of us. Giovanni took a look at our current data usage (on our family plan), showed us some phones, and started the process of making our transfers. Our transferred plans saved a good amount of money and we even got my Mom her first smart phone! Giovanni was very thorough and walked us through the process... But the process seemed to take forever! Not his fault, these things always take a long time. We were there for over 2 hours! I can't wait for the day when you can just walk into a store, tap a few buttons on a touch screen, and get an instant transfer and new phone, lickety split! Until then, I'm glad this store opened and is close to home! We'll see you in 2 more years Verizon! read more

Stay away from these people!! Went in to purchase 2 phones and was incorrectly told that we would have to pay a $400 dollar deposit to ensure that we did not "resell" our new phones. My daughter had just ordered a new phone a week prior and was not told this or charged?? When I questioned the representative she mumbled something about some credit...which made no sense at all. I asked if this policy was implemented in the last few days but received no response and actually she never spoke another word. She offered no explanation or alternative options ...she just sat there until we left ( quite uncomfortable ). I called the "actual"Verizon upon returning home and was told there is no such policy!! When we arrived at this location there was not a car in the lot which is not a good sign. As anyone who has gone phone shopping knows the "authentic " Verizon stores are packed. I work in customer service myself and would rate this experience a zero. Why would I ever consider purchasing anything from these people in the future. Customer service is so very important in today's business environment as there are many consumer shopping choices. Often it's the important factor that retains customers. Went here today (sep26,2022) at about 11am to see what verizon has to offer when i got there! They had 2 personnel which is ok for not a busy day. I was told by the male employee to have a sit and he will be with me after his done with the client that was already there. We had another guy that walked in after i did and they shake hands and they knew each other so after 10 minutes of waiting the employee decided to say sorry to me but he had to take him first. Now I understand having your buddy coming to shop but leaving me waiting extra for it is just straight b.s when i am extremely busy and barely have time to come to store and trying a new service for first time. But no back to AT&T because they do care about peoples time there. By the way the employee laughed after i told him i was leaving because he skip me just said sorry while laughing with his buddy. Classic bait and switch. Sales person showed us one phone and sold us another. When confronted with the error in time. Sales person said it will be hard and nearly impossible to fix because we traded in a phone. Told the sales person you need to fix the error today because I want my old phone back. The sales person mentioned technically you can not and he will call the policed you try to take it back. Wow. How is that customer service. I will call corporate office tomorrow. My iPhone broke around 3 weeks ago, with everything going on the Verizon stores were all closed. So I ordered a new iPhone on Verzizon's chat on the website. Verizon ended up sending my phone to the wrong address. I reached out to Verizon chat customer service when I received the tracking number, the rep I chatted with confirmed he was able to re-route the package to the correct address. It was still delivered to the wrong address. For about 2 weeks I chatted with Verizon customer service every other day with them telling me the same thing... They will look into it and let me know the status within 24 hours. I was usually on the chat for about 4 hours at a time, I would have to explain my situation every time and usually after about an hour or so the chat would time out and kick me off and I would start the cycle all over again. I drove past cellular sales the other day and saw they were open so I stopped it. A sales Rep Ryan helped me and I told him right off the bat I'm pretty sick of Verizon right now and I don't know what else to do. He was more than happy to help out. After explaining my situation he ended up calling Verizon customer service for me. We were on the phone for about 4 1/2 hours with various parts of customer service. We were even disconnected after talking to someone for about an hour and a half. After being transferred around so much we finally talked to someone who was able to resolve the situation. Ryan was able to get them to cancel my phone order and issue me a refund since it was their mistake. I ended up buying a phone from him that day and walked out with a working phone after not having one for so long, If it wasn't for him I still wouldn't have one since the refund went through today. Needless to say he went above and beyond further than he had to with customer service. I highly recommend anyone who needs a new phone or any accessories go see these guys. I will be telling everyone I know to go see them if they need anything. It's hard finding a retailer you can trust, I'm happy I stopped in, I will definitely for any of my phone needs. They lied and said that the terms of the service would not change but it was NOT true. We had unlimited data grandfathered into the original contract and lost it when the service was switched. Not happy after purchasing iPhones for myself and my wife. Salesman hands us a Samsung reader telling us both it's totally free after our $ 1,800 phone purchase. We sign the 2 year agreement and when our bill arrives we're shocked that this Samsung reader comes with a 2 year data contract with an insurance premium added to the data charge. We return and speak to the manager (Gordon) and express our outrage at this obvious deception on the part of the salesman. He promises to call me back that same day and of course never calls. The store admits the salesman makes a commission on the Samsung reader but denies it's connected to my purchase. I will pursue this till they accept the return of a reader we really didn't want to begin with. We both have iPads and use WiFi!! Mike S. 3/11 Spoke to manager again today. He seems fine with the actions of his sales people. I can only assume honesty and credibility are expendable when reeling in the customer to enhance the bottom line. read more

I had a mostly good experience here. The staff I dealt with were nice and the experience of moving from AT&T to Verizon was fine. I got turned off by a few things though. First, I asked if the phone I was considering could do WiFi calling. No one in the store knew what WiFi calling was. That was shocking. I Google'd it on my phone to see if the phone I wanted did do WiFi calling and within a second got my answer. I would have expected employees at a cellphone store would know this. But what was more upsetting was I was charged over $150, which I assumed was for the initial month of service or something. But no, the charge was for 2 things--taxes and "set up fees". The taxes charged was based on the full retail price of the phones. I'm not sure if this is standard or not? I've never experienced that before. But the set up fees was totally ridiculous. They charged $20 PER PHONE to transfer apps and contacts, something which I wasn't told about before it was done and something I could have done myself. That was crappy and definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm not sure you would have a better experience at other stores, but keep the above in mind for this particular location. read more
