Came to Verilife after being disappointed with my previous purchase in Chicago. We walked around and then hopped onto one of the iPads/ kiosk that they have lying around almost every corner and made our picks. We headed to the counters to pay and pick up and it was kind of set up like a bank lol. Rell rang us up and immediately apologized for not working with us at the kiosk since it got really busy. I was happy that it was busy because it was a great sign that they had good products. I explained to Rell how dissatisfied I was with The Chicago Cannabis Company and he knew exactly what I was looking for in a product. He switched our selections twice and gave us 20% off. Rell really put in work with us and upsold us and gave us a great experience, I'm not mad about it. Give this guy a raise I'd want him to work for my company. We went back to the hotel and were liftedddd for hours! Thank you love! read more

20 people turned away after waiting in line to 10p. No warning and folks coming in until ten. 0/10 for that. Medicine is real. Good luck!

I went in on March 15th around 7ish. The lady that helped me was so freaking nice. I told her I was from out of town and I work in the industry. She was like "don't stress I will take care of you!" She seemed like she knew what she was talking about. I told her I wanted FULL GRAM VAPES! She showed me 0.3 gram vapes and proceeded to tell me they are one gram and I'll be good! On top of that she sells me concentrate and then tells me it's batter, and it was going to expire soon. When I was about to check out I asked if I could add a vape that was on display and they proceed to tell me that they don't have any of those types and it was only for display which was so weird. Anyways I came back to see everything I have purchased. I have bought 2 .3 grams vapes when I asked for FULL GRAM. 1 gram of concentrate that LEAKED EVERYWHERE! I won't be coming back to this dispensary. If you are from out of town Do Not Come Here. read more

I just went there for the first time. There were the kiosks, which worked pretty smoothly. While I thought there was gonna be a really long line, it went super fast, and the people were really accommodating and helpful, especially my new friend Shorty. I will be coming back to see Shorty in the very near future. I would really like to see some additional brands for in the infused beveraged but the brand that they have is uncle Arnie's so you can't really go wrong read more

overall great but they're so so slow to get an order completed and the line gets very long, never more than 2 people at the cash register, it can be painful. Greenrose up the road is light years faster read more

Great service with a large selection and the value of 40% off from 8 to 10 in the morning is great

I don't recommend , the security at the door is very rude. She was not helpful ,they dont tell you the info before hand or on the wesbsite, i came in from out the country with my drivers license,i left my passport at the hotel because i use my DL everywhere i went with no issuse , but she was veryyyy rude about it , didnt even verify my license ! so i went to another dispensary and they verify my drivers license was OK ! And the service was great!!! read more

I've had the pleasure of working with Rell, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the very beginning, Rell's kindness, professionalism, and honesty stood out. They always take the time to listen, understand what matters, and follow through -- even when things get tricky I appreciate it. read more

Wow Tyler is always so helpful. I had friends in town for a conference so we made a little visit and he was able to help everyone with their needs. read more

Great experience at this Verilife location! Great staff, especially appreciate Justin's help on Sunday!

Finally!! I have finally tried this dispensary lol and I am so glad I did. They have wide selection of flower, edibles, vapes, etch. Great customer service and they were patient with me since it was my first time. They have rotating deals; so be ask for the current deals or sales. Definitely sign up for their reward program and communications to learn of their deals. The space is clean and bigger than I expected!!! Security and front desk is also professional and nice. Definitely coming back soon read more

Fabulous budtenders- friendly, helpful on suggestions, and quick to cash us out despite the long line. A ton of deals every day too which makes up for the Chicago tax. Purchased a disposable and a few edibles, all were great. read more

I've been going to Verilife in River North for about a year, and the budtenders have never steered me wrong. I'm bad with names, but every single employee was chill, knowledgeable and asked questions that helped me pick out what I needed. I stopped using opioids and now take CBD gummies for pain and to help recover faster from the gym. The budtenders are really good at navigating the different brands and explaining the effects. I would recommend this dispensary to anyone, they have everything, and have awesome deals and promos. read more

Amazing customer service skills. They are very patient and take the time to talk to you and explain to you what they have. The store is super clean and very well decorated. I will be returning. read more

This place always has deals and a great rewards program. The selection is pretty wide as far as I know and I've never had a negative experience with a staff member. Sometime wait times can be long. But I've seen that at every (popular/in a good spot) dispensary. My go to. Won't change! Can't believe the ratings aren't higher! read more

Excellent service was provided by Steven today. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products I was looking for.

Everyone was extremely nice, wish I had paid more attention to their name tags! As a tourist, I was not aware they did not accept Apple Pay so it was a bit of a hassle to go back to the hotel to get it. They do cash and there's ATM's at the store! I advise you pay cash as no service fee. read more

Verilife Dispensary - We waiting more than 15 min in line and still haven't able to order . HIRE SOME STAFF - Cannabis Dispensaries Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

It was cool, knowledgeable staff was very helpful. The place is a bit high techie (pun intended), but it was cool.

Long, slow lines. Alas thanks to the state no atm service along with high taxes. At least there's a parking lot.

So great! Tara helped us out and she was so sweet! She gave us recommendations as we are visiting from Denver. Thank you Tara!!

This dispensary requires new management. This is coming from a regional manager of a franchise myself. Every single time I visit this dispensary I wait in line 20+ minutes. Sometimes they will have 2 attendants checking out but 9/10 times you loose 1 attendant to a conversation. Today I finally said something and instead of the manager addressing my concern her turned away ran to the back laughing at me. My previous visit the wait was so long two people behind me walked out and the man in front of me had a dog who was now asleep on the ground. I'm not being dramatic. The wait times are insane! Pick up the speed this is Chicago we are fast paced people. read more

Great store, horrible staff. I'm not here to have a full on conversation with you. Just put the weed in the bag bro. I was in line with one other customer in front of me, no one else in the store, the cashier literally had a 20 minute conversation with the person in front of me. Seriously no one is here to hear your life story. read more

My friend took my by to see this place as he did his monthly "gummy run". Friendly staff, but not a ton of items to see in person. Everything is bought through the iPad. He shops he regularly though and says the products are great. read more

I went there on Sunday around 11:00 a.m. There was one guy working. There were two women he was helping who were from out of town. He helped them order and used a radio or something and called someone to fill the order. This all took about 5-6 minutes. By now, there were 4 of us in line. Instead of asking the ladies to step aside until their products were brought up so he could wait on the waiting customers, he began to style and flirt, and shuck and jive and have just a good ol time. Now there are 5 of us in line and it's been going on 10 minutes. 5 people in line and he simply ignored us and kept on shuckin' and jivin' with the two ladies. They were having a great time. Laughing and whooping it up and now there was 6 of us and he kept on stylin. Needless to say, 2 of us walked out. I went to a competitor and plan to contiue to use them. I'm done with this place. I even sent management an email and they ignored it. I guess they don't mind losing business. read more

Molly was amazzinnggg!!!!! 10/10 recommend. Got a cute shirt and a few other items. Excited to test it all out but thank you Molly!!

This place has good security but is also friendly and helpful. I knew what I wanted when I went in, but I was too frugal to pay any online service fee, but I told the guy what I wanted, and he reminded me they are CASH ONLY! He was nice about it but I felt silly! They have an ATM onsite of course. I get iffy around non-bank ATMs but this was safe, no identity theft so far. I liked their set up and the service. I won't comment on my experience with the product itself, that's for another review. read more

8/7/21 first time here, I got turned onto trying the pills 1:1 THC / CBD to help me with sleep and energy in the morning. Kinda pricey in my opinion, but then again I've never been here before. I only have California to compare dispensaries to, so I may not have had many various shops to compare to. read more

Slowest dispensary in town , if there is more than 4 people in line be prepared to wait 30 minutes +

The staff are nice and the store is clean and well organized, which is why I'm not giving this place one star. But it's a dispensary that literally does not acknowledge medical marijuana card holders. I got my card a few months ago and have since taken my business to a far better dispensary in the city that doesn't treat the marijuana distribution business as "party central" Pathetic. read more

The team is great & always helpful. Never left without a deal and rewards taking off next time. Great prices as well.

Horrible customer service - I had the worst experience when I showed them my foreign Government issued ID and was refused by the manager who insisted on using profane language to "enforce store policy". needs help. needs to be fixed read more

This place is awesome & very peaceful also very understanding. Big ups to Mar cool dude for sure read more

The staff is always very friendly at Verilife. They have good deals too. I usually do preorder here but it doesn't change the wait time as they have one like for both walk ins and preorders. The line can get pretty long sometimes so be prepared to wait. read more

In town overnight with a stonerboy, so we had to check out a dispensary. Chicago accepts out of state medical cards, and this place was in walking distance of our hotel. It was the first time I've actually been inside a dispensary, as the one we frequent at home has a drive-through. I was pleasantly surprised to find the store to be extremely wheelchair friendly, with an elevator to take me to the check in lobby area. Everyone was super eager to help the boyfriend find the product that was best for him. I do wish that I had known about the ultra cute t-shirts before withdrawing money from the ATM because my boyfriend seriously needs the shirt that says, "Marijuana is my favorite flower" or something like that. I don't see a way to.order one from the shop online. So that's a bummer. Still, a great new adventure for me. Would recommend read more

Warning: DO NOT COME HERE AFTER 9:30! The other negative reviews are 100% correct about the long lines and lack of staff. But it's not just about valuing your time. If you come here late because it's open until 10, you will probably not get service. They stop sales the moment the clock strikes 10, no matter how close you were to paying for your product. This only makes the extreme slowness of the registers more infuriating. I could only stand there helplessly as the 5 people in front of me somehow took 10 minutes with 2 cashiers. Any other dispensary will process my transaction in like 45 seconds. This would normally be an annoyance, but it lead to me leaving empty-handed after finally reaching the register (but not quite fast enough). I could have gone to a different dispensary that's open late, but because of a lack of communication and slow service, I have nothing. I asked the manager if he could hop on a register to get through more of the line, but he said he had to just stand there with the coupons ready to give us. Now I don't know their policies but I feel like as the manager he could have hopped on a register. read more
