However, GreatAmerica failed to notify me when my lease term ended, so I continued paying each month for outdated equipment until I realized that I could actually end the lease. When I inquired why GreatAmerica hadn't notifed me at the end of my lease term, they responded that it was my responsibility to notify them. Of course! Yet another deceptive tactic to continue the lease in perpetuity while I pay an inflated rate for outdated equipment. Business owners should beware before doing business with this company.

I currently do ALL of my banking with them so you would think with 4x loan amount as collateral and a consistent income it wouldn't be an issue. Yet their underwriters refused to make an exception. First it was canceling my credit card due to possible fraud charges, for buying shoes online, mind you, without a phone call from them verifying it was me. My husband and I both had to go in and request a new card 3 times each and I still wasn't given/sent one in the mail. I guess this bank likes to hoard my money for themselves and don't want me to actually spend it, but I digress. I finally resorted to demanding one on the spot before an international trip before I finally received access to my checking account. The third issue is the most egregious. Issuing travel warnings mean nothing to this crappy bank. We had our cards declined for fraud every single day of our trip overseas. Both my husband and issued travel warnings for our checking and credit accounts, on separate occasions, at different branches, to ensure a safe trip. WTH!!! Every single day we were on the phone with this bank. We were declined 36$, yes you read that correctly, 36 dollars, whilst trying to see a monument in France, for fraud!!!! Seriously. I loathe this bank and would be an absolute idiot if I didn't switch to a competitor. I've heard all the excuses and all the I'm sorry to last a lifetime, but ultimately, they didn't care to ensure my family was safe for our trip. Bye bye Green State, I'll take my business elsewhere.

I did setup my autopay as instructed and because I didn't notice I was 1 day off in last autopay the disqualified me. To me it looked like I perfectly met the criteria but based on their cycles I didn't. Underhanded, deceptive, looking for loopholes to not pay. Also the personal banker I sat with to open my account could have helped explain that 'oh you better change that so you get your bonus. '. Nothing. So, I'm closing everything and taking my $16k elsewhere. True it's not a lot. But I'm warning everyone to not trust them and that their customer service is be nice to your face. But on the backside be sure they don't have pay promised bonuses.
