    I was skeptical at first, but Lisa's program delivers in every possible way. I lost fat while getting stronger. I have more energy than I have in years, and overall, feel fantastic, all thanks to Lisa. Why Was I skeptical? I grew up playing sports up until college and "knew" how to eat well. I never thought a nutritionist or trainer could teach me something I couldn't just research on the internet myself. What changed? I hit my heaviest point in my life at 180 and couldn't find the motivation needed to commit to a diet or workout regiment. I looked for help and came across Lisa through a friend who had success. What happened next? I LOVE MEAT, and early on I still ate some and I did have success with Lisa's workout program and nutrition advice. She eventually coached me and convinced me to fully commit to a vegan diet and that's when I started to see changes in my body and behavior. I was more energetic in the mornings, I slept better, and my body seemed to recover faster. Her workouts are fun and she does a great job of keeping it interesting. I still have some ways to go but I am confident I will get there. So don't be like me and wait around, I highly recommend giving Lisa a call, like everyone else who has left her a review, she will Change your life. Your health is not worth sacrifice.

He's kind but firm, without the ego or machismo you often find in this space, and it's clear he and the entire team are invested in real progress, not just selling sessions. At the SM location I've trained with Martine, Conrad, and Sean and, as usual, all are well trained, know their shit, pay attention, and are fantastic trainers! They keep you motivated. Clean facilities and everybody gets their own squat rack for an hour. Time is our most precious non renewable resource in our hectic lives. To get in a full body workout without waiting to share equipment and not spend any mental energy and time programming my workouts makes this membership a great value. 2. It's not HIIT, it's pure strength training using barbells and dumbbells. With 2-3 minutes of rest in between sets. 3. The classes are small and maybe 10 people at the most. It is more of a semi private training experience - all the attention and individualized focus of a top trainer with the social benefits of being part of a positive community. 4. Fast Results. Pure and simple. I've done it all: F45, Barry's, Orangetheory, Indoor Cycling, Hot yoga, kickboxing, etc. I am the strongest, leanest I've ever been and because my metabolism has skyrocketed by adding muscle mass, it's so freeing not to watch calories anymore.

Ray is a no nonsense, just get in and get your workout in type of trainer. I have had great results in working with Ray, Ive lost more weight than I have ever lost - I am at the lowest that I have ever weighed. I am leaner than I have ever been and it is in large part due to Ray's support, encouragement and knowledge. Ray has been a part of the fitness world - it sounds like forever - and with that comes a wealth of knowledge of different types and ways of training. He is able to pull on this knowledge and create a program specifically to fit your needs, limitations, goals, and body's resistance to change. And then to top that off that program changes as your body changes - as it needs more of a certain exercise or cardio, etc etc. Ray is a sculptor and knows which muscles to work to get you the results and physic that you want. From my very first conversation with Charles at Iconix, the experience felt different. He exemplified true customer service -- knowledgeable, patient, professional, and genuinely invested in ensuring I had every detail needed to make the right decision for myself. There was never pressure, only consistency and care. Ironically, my initial visit almost talked me out of joining. The commute was nearly double what I was accustomed to, and the entire reason I started going to the gym after work was to avoid traffic, not drive deeper into it. I remember sitting in traffic convincing myself the entire way there that I absolutely would not be joining this gym. Then I walked in. What I expected to be "just another gym tour" turned into an experience. The atmosphere, the energy, the cleanliness, the professionalism, and the community completely shifted my perspective. I found myself not wanting to leave. What surprised me most is that Iconix became something I genuinely looked forward to. It no longer felt like a task squeezed into my day. Don't know anyone's names but it's comforting knowing they'll be there. The staff since I joined, has been great. The front staff always greet you and say goodbye haha. It's like when you're having a rough day and the cashier at Trader Joe's cheers you up. Even the membership card scanner says happy birthday to you! The maintenance staff is always friendly and say hello. The womens locker room is clean. There's rarely any towels just laying on surfaces in the locker room. I never see litter. Doesn't smell gross. Some lockers have broken hinges, but there's literally hundreds to choose from. I like the new glute and cardio equipment. I've taken a few classes- kickboxing with Steven and Robert and then the mobility pop-up. Steven is more cardio kickboxing while Robert is more about technique. I enjoy chatting with Robert. We always have fun convos. I want to try the cardio dance class. I feel like that would be fun. Shout out to Nic and Donovan. They were the ones who welcomed me on day 1. I miss Gabby's playlists! That being said, the disinfectant wipe order needs to increase. I go through about two wipes per workout- one when I hit the strength machines and the second one when I hit cardio. Or maybe a bottle of disinfectant like how planet fitness has disinfectant stations (2 bottles and a roll of paper towels). See you tomorrow!
