We were able to grab a table for two in their outdoor seating area without a wait on a Monday morning. Their guava roll is amazing as always, but I would not recommend the lemon roll (it wasn't what we were expecting and the rind itself was too bitter for our liking and did not belong in the pastry). All other dishes were very yummy! I would come back to try their lunch menu!

That said, the stars are based on the food, and unfortunately this was the most expensive meal we had in Mexico City and it wasn't even close to the best. The food overall was decent, but nothing that stood out as worth the price. The pan dulce was all cold and firm no matter which variations we tried. We had a party of 9 and many items were forgotten about, which made service feel a bit chaotic. For my meal I ordered a jamón y queso empanada and a tamale con rajas y queso. About 15 minutes later they came back and said they were out of the jamón y queso empanadas and only had tinga left. I said that was fine, but when it arrived it was cold, almost frozen. I asked them to heat it up, which they did. The tamale, on the other hand, was good--hot with great flavor. The coffee and juice were also solid. More than likely, although the restaurant and atmosphere were beautiful, I'd go elsewhere for better food at a better price.

We tried a few juices, the chicken tomato salad and the salmon tacos. The salad was huge with a big portion of chicken, avocado and many toppings for a reasonable price. The lights were out in the bathroom and in part of the restaurant, so not sure if they were dealing with a partial power outage and impact to the kitchen. Still recommend for the food!

We were told the wait would be 30mins but it was over an hour. At some point the staff member removed our name from the list despite us standing right next to the door and waiting (and asking for updates) the whole time. The host was apologetic about this and tried her best to make up for it with a good table. Eventually we were seated and the menu was great. Really delicious food choices ranging from my Mexican flavors to more basic Western options. Scrambled eggs looked good, the piadina was delicious, as were the chilaquiles! The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning, the architecture and greenery as well as the branded plates and stuff really make you feel its vibe. The service was awkward and slow, but at least the server checked in on us like twice. The entrees were okay, we had the chilaquiles and the breakfast sandwich both were just okay nothing spectacular and portions were honestly pretty small. The saving grace was that pancake French toast thing I can't remember what it's called haha, but it was AMAZING.. I would come back for that alone! Overall an okay spot although my expectations were maybe a little too high.
