At the time we weren't looking for a home but we tossed around the idea. Fast forward mid 2018, our lease was going to be up that year and we finally decided to start looking at houses. We weren't 100% ready to purchase yet but we figured we'd start looking. As first time home buyers we were absolutely clueless. Kara was very patient and more than happy to show us as many houses as we pleased. Kara took the time to teach us about the housing market, what to look for in a home and to show us homes purely for education without any expectation of us buying. Her goal as our real estate agent was to make sure we loved whatever house we decided to buy. Well, naturally we did find a house we absolutely loved. Modern, newly renovated, pool. The construction crew wasn't very good about picking up after themselves, which resulted in one of our new vehicles having to get a new tire because a nail was stuck in the inner side of the tire. Michael Biddinger's HOA manager, Teresa Ralls, emailed us a response to our inquiry about reimbursing us for the $224.60 it cost to replace the tire. She said it could have happened anywhere and basically that it wasn't their issue, which is what the construction crew said. So no one wants to be held accountable. There were a little more than two dozen nails on our side of the parking area alone. The nail that was removed from the tire (we which also have a picture of) is identical to the length of the nails I picked up. This is not the first time we have had an issue with these people. It took them several months to repair a hole in our roof and get rid of the raccoons in our attic. Our property management hired someone personally and it took him two days to remedy the issue and get the attic cleared out. I could understand if it were a single nail. But there were dozens. This could have caused a blow out. Someone could have stepped on the nails and been seriously injured. If you're thinking about moving to an area that they oversee I would caution you to reconsider, as you would have more to lose than you would to gain.

So to say I've spent *thousands* of dollars in Swan estate sales and auctions is not an exaggeration. Today they had a sale with some boxes of baseball cards. Of the nine boxes of cards I grabbed, five boxes had *two* stickers that said they were $10. Four had $20 stickers. I asked for a ticket of sale and the man said they were all $20 each. I showed him a box that had two (*two*) $10 stickers on it and he said it was $20 and the stickers were wrong. I put down all nine boxes and told the guy he should remove the stickers that contradict the price he's telling people. He said, "yeah." And started removing the $10 stickers from the boxes that weren't $20. Long story short, Swan does not honor their own stickered prices and will not be getting another cent from this once faithful customer.
