I have requested to do my testing at home online as the recruiter stated all applicants can, however she keeps "forgetting" to send it. They do not validate for parking which is 1 dollar per half hour, thus I would like to complete all my testing online before coming in. When the day comes for me to show up on site, I still have not received any links to my ProveIt! Testing. I call to reschedule, of course because this testing can take over an hour if not longer. The recruiters excuses as to why she has not sent it, or why I can come in multiple times and etc. have become tiresome and her rudeness at my request to reschedule because of this has made me not want to work with this company. It needs to be understood that not all applicants have the means, such as gas money, parking, reliable transport, etc. especially if they have graduated college and recently relocated to the area. I feel if you are already going to make a large profit by taking a percent of what I work hard to earn from my paycheck when I am hired on by an employer (as part of their policy) the least you could do is validate for parking or send the testing as stated so that it can be completed prior to arrival. That being said, I really hate that it has come to this, they seem to garnish really great leads with local companies, however these companies are most likely missing out on excellent candidates given the poor attitude, poor location, poor planning, and lack of enthusiasm held by this office and it's recruiter(s) Please consider validating, being more polite via email, understanding of people's desire to complete testing prior to arrival, not just for monetary reasons but because high testing scores can be discussed during the face to face meeting and add an additional positive to the candidate during the interview process. Honestly, I think more companies should just post with online job boards to find more professional and qualified applicants as opposed to using staffing agencies such as this one.
