DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM THIS OR ANY OTHER VENUS MEDSPA LOCATIONS. They used to have 3 Illinois locations until they suddenly shut all of them down. 2 weeks prior to their closing my boyfriend purchased a $500 gift card. I have called their Florida locations multiple times and they take messages and NOONE calls you back. Unethical and horrible business practices. Shame on you Venus Med Spa!!! I was a loyal customer for years. read more

I have been getting treatments done for over 10 years in various places and Venus is by far the best spa and injectors I have had! They are all so gentle, honest, and knowledgeable. I love that their dysport treatments are current and fresh. I can't wait to go back in a few months to try some fillers. read more

Something is truly wrong here. After 1 month of injection I can move my eyebrows. I think someone is diverting meds here.. just my thinking. I think it is watered down I always have had great results u til just last year. Now I had a filler that went really badly and Botox that has worn off after a month hmmmmmmm???? read more

All they want to do is up sell, they do not care about your time or money. They just want you to schedule and get you there to feel awkward. I book my appointment on 10/16 they did not have anyone available on the weekends which is odd. So I booked for the following week, Monday 10/19 they were already calling to reschedule. The fact the are not able to book your appointment correct should have been a sign. Next I specify told her on 10/16 I only want my forehead done for the deal of $189. Never once did she tell me there is a possibility if you do not do your frown lines you have a 50% change of forehead dropping. That is pretty huge. So I took time off work drove 1 hour with traffic to get there. I waited at the door the receptionist had her back turned and on her phone the women who was administering the Botox on her phone no one paying attention. Then I got taken back and that is when they turned the sales game on, also making me feel awkward about not wanting to drop $1000 on generic brand Botox for my husband and I. The thing that pissed me off was no communication if I had known I could not get just my forehead done I wouldn't have wasted my time. BEWARE IS AL I CAN SAY. read more

I've been to the Sarasota UTC and the one at the Brandon Mall. Both treatments went flawlessly and look amazing. The technicians were very knowledgeable and took their time to make sure the results I wanted were achieved. Highly recommend this Med Spa! read more

I've had such a great experience here so far. Stephanie is great at what she does and is very knowledgeable. She informs me without being pushy and makes sure I know what to expect every time. I've loved my results thus far and will keep coming back when necessary. read more

Tried this place a few times. Noticed their products seemed weak and watered down. I've been to some higher end spas and do know the difference in quality plus their Botox, juvaderm seems like it does not last nearly as long. The prices are much cheaper but you get what you pay for. I won't return as these treatments are suppose to make you look younger and I did not feel or notice much difference. I only like a natural look not the obvious over done look especially the ones where you can instantly tell and not in a good way, you can see overdone Botox etc all over social media with women who are always taking selfies usually narcissistic people obsessed with taking their photo and posting it everywhere and they think they look good ( not ) but I do expect to see a difference when I pay for treatments even if subtle. read more

I am so pleased with VMS-Brandon and their services; today was my second visit with injector Muriel, DNP, ARNP for Dysport to smooth my aging forehead and crows feet.. She's extremely knowledgeable with all aspects of skin rejuvenation and addressed all my concerns..A special thank-you to Tonia and Muriel for being extra supportive due to my needle phobia..You ladies rock read more

In 10+ years, I have NEVER had such a bad experience. WASTE OF MONEY. I had all three areas done before Christmas. I needed a touch-up and had one with zero change in results. I called and explained that the touch-up did absolutely nothing and was told they "were not going to inject any more product". I told the receptionist that I didn't feel it was fair that I paid for a full correction and did not receive one. She transferred me to a nurse who reiterated what the receptionist said. I felt they should try to make it right in some way which they did not. They said they would have a manager call me on Thursday 1/2 and today is 1/9 and I still have not received a call. I have been receiving Dysport and botox for over 10 years in two states and have never needed more that one correction and have NEVER been told: "...there's nothing we can do". So basically I wasted hundreds of dollars and look the same. I don't know if it's bad products or poor technique but one thing is for sure, terrible experience and will never go back. read more

I have been coming here for a little over a year now and couldn't be more pleased ! Muriel Ward is the best! She takes the time to explain what you're having done and also helps share insight to help you make the best decision for you. She has also been available to answer any follow up questions and help make your experience a positive and inviting one. I have heard of horror stories with other places and have colleagues who have had bad experiences elsewhere so I am extremely pleased to have found this gem in Brandon. read more

Muriel was amazing with my lip injections! She explained everything and was very sweet and made me feel comfortable. She left the numbing cream on longer to make sure my pain was controlled as well as iced the area before the injection. My pain NEVER went above a 3 on a 1-10 scale and my previous injection experience was very painful. Was very very satisfied! read more

I agree with Eeka B.'s review regarding the injector, Kristin. Not only does she not have good bedside manner, but she lacks experience and hygienic approaches. I asked for the "keyhole" style for my bottom lip--WELL before she gathered supplies for my injections--she said something to the effect of "oh yeah yeah I know exactly what you want, I got you," failing to mention that she didn't so much as have a single sterile piece of string to work with to achieve this look, despite telling me that she could do it. She started pulling random supplies out of cabinets in the makeshift "office" that they have thrown together and finally found a RUBBER BAND that she attempted to use after hesitating for 5 minutes and telling me that it "probably wasn't clean but we could try anyway." I was annoyed and honestly wanted to leave at this point but I gave her a chance. My results weren't terrible but they also were NOT what I asked for. She also bad-mouthed my previous work and other injectors for the entire duration that my lips were being numbed...this is one of my biggest pet peeves with people who provide services...it screams nothing but insecurity and unprofessionalism. I will not be doing business with them, or any Venus Med Spa again after this experience. Save your time and stick to professional aesthetic injectors who have legitimate workspace outside of malls. read more

Everything was smooth and wonderful until last december (Almost one year of being there), but things went downhill dramatically and drastically in just 45 days, still trying to digest the fact that an institution could be so unethical, unlawful and balantly fraudulent. i bought a package from them for $499, which was 3 part service, i used one part of it then they offered a free service for which they later deducted remaining of my package money. I was shocked and tried to have saint conversation with them which was not going anywhere then Alinia accepted to address this and refund me for the remaining 2 parts, she was then convinced by the other ladies that the free service was indeed chargeable. I couldn't believe the unethical practices these guys have there. why on earth does a customer who has spent more than thousand will want to debate about small items such as this. am anyway going to take them to court but wanted others to know whats going on. so here you go. These guys (Stephanie, Tania) are very good with you until you are giving them money the minute you either talk about results or not wanting to take another package you see their true behavior which is unprofessional to the core. read more

The Brandon location is great because of Tonia! My last visit went so well. Tonia is attentive, helpful and my injector Rebecca was excellent. Tonia has the ability to connect with her patients and be kind, understanding and still manage without being rude, or off putting. When I had an issue, she solved it with the utmost professionalism. It's important to remember this is a med spa. Clients like their privacy and she takes that seriously and to heart. I have been a client since 2013 and love it! Please don't lose Tonia. She's a keeper. read more

I love this place!! Muriel is so AMAZING! I LOVE HER She is sooo good at what she does. Takes her time and is a perfectionist. Tonia is a great manager at this location. What a great team. They are both so happy and positive all the time. Always eager to help and answer questions. I had the pleasure of getting a microneedeling and nano needling session with Stephanie today at their Love Your Skin Event. Stephanie is also amazing at what she does. I can already see a difference a few hours now that the redness is going away. Can't wait to see it by tomorrow I will be seeing more of her in the future. Thank you ladies. I'm so greatful to have you. Take advantage of their specials to save money. read more

I had a terrible experience with the Spa, I want my deposit back, called assured manager would get back to me. She never did. I felt they were not honest or reliable. I had been sick for over six months, they did not care... Will never use them, I have many friends in Tampa Bay! read more

Location is nice, spa is underwhelming, and the work is good... however heavy handed.
