I was attending a destination wedding and Teri Hurley of Endless Love Travel was the agent that the wedding couple chose to plan and book their wedding. The guests were not obligated to use Teri, but we were told that booking as a group would lower the costs for everyone. I'm not sure if it is inexperience or ineptitude on Ms. Hurley's part, but pretty much every guest that booked their travel with her had an issue and an Endless Headache. My problems was benign compared to most. When I use a travel agent, I expect full service, and that is not what occurred with Endless Headache. When I originally contacted Endless Headache, I let Teri know that I wanted to book my air soon, as that is the most volatile portion of the trip, price and schedule-wise and asked her to send me fares. Ms. Hurley made it abundantly clear that she prefers to communicate with via email. After my initial request, I was sent some generic documents and general pricing of rooms. She did not send me airfares. I emailed some questions and did not get a response for 3 days. Within these 3 days, Endless Headache apparently told the Bride that nobody had gotten back to her on booking. I certainly let the Bride know that I was waiting to hear back from Endless Love and was ready to book once my questions were answered. Ms. Hurley decided that she would make an exception to her email only rule and finally called to address my questions. I reiterated that I wanted to book my air soon and asked her to send me fares, as I was concerned about the fares going up. She did not send me airfares. Based on her many years of experience, I was strongly advised me against booking, as December is the busiest travel month, and therefore booking during December is more expensive. Let me point out that I wanted to book air in December for travel in April, not to travel in December. So that particular piece of advice based on her many years of experience doesn't even make sense. My gut tells me that Endless Headache was only interested in booking the portion of the trip for which she gets commission. She was unable to answer any questions about the travel insurance she was selling and sent me a lengthy fine-print document to read over instead. I went ahead and put down my deposit for the room and told her I wanted to book air soon. She said she would keep an eye out for good fares and let us know when prices went down. After a month, I hadn't heard from her and asked about air again. She was unresponsive and after several attempts it was clear that she was uninterested in booking air for us. She finally sent us some air options, but they were quite terrible-not only pricey, but had overnight connections. Cancun is 3 hours away, why the heck would I be okay with an overnight connection?!?! Her final email regarding air said. "go ahead and book it yourself." That is not professional or personalized service. By the time I ended up booking air myself (seriously, why even use an agent if I'm going to have to book everything piecemeal anyway?!?!), it had increased in cost by about 75%. Thanks for the great advice of waiting Endless Headache!!! I could go on for days about the problems I and others had, but I'd rather let them write their own reviews. I will however, point out the lowlights: 1. One couple cancelled the trip rather than deal any further with Endless Headache. 2. The Groom said that his sweet Bride had only cried twice during wedding planning, and both times were due to Endless Headache. 3. After one of the guests had put down his deposit, he arrived in Mexico with no room because Endless Headache forgot to book it. 4. One couple realized once in Mexico that their transfer documents had them leaving on the wrong date 5. Without exaggeration, every guest, with the exception of one couple, had an issue with Endless Headache.

I'd done a cruise before, but had never worked with a tour company---have always been an independent traveler abroad. But for this trip, since we were traveling with a kid to a place we'd never been and had limited knowledge of---and were traveling with another family too---it seemed like a good option. Silvia was lovely to work with, as was the rest of the PfL staff as we organized our trip. The trip had a lot of moving parts, and we had a lot of questions and edits and ideas, and everything came together beautifully. The trip itself (once we got there!---the airlines were problematic but that's not at all PfL's fault!) was absolutely seamless---I mean it. At the appointed times, we'd walk to our hotel lobbies and the tour vans were always either waiting or arriving a moment later, right on time. We never once had to wait or worry. Our private tour guides were outstanding---knowledgeable, friendly (I mean, to the point of buying us local snacks!), charming with our kids, and spoke English better than most Americans do. Special shout-outs to Fabricio (in the Sacred Valley and again in Cusco), Peter (at Machu Picchu) and David (for the food tour in Lima). (Also our guide to the water-light show in Lima, but I'm afraid I've lost his name.) Hiroshi at Inkaterra was also great. Airport transfers were a breeze, hotel check-ins were simple...
