We did have a broken oar which made for paddling much more complex but my son did a great job with the extra muscle it took to stay on course. The lagoon itself was pretty, houses along the water, a lot of scenery (including sadly, a deceased sea lion) There was a lot of area to travel for a kayak. Good experience overall.

When Sea-doo stopped making their jet boats, I couldn't find anyone other than where I bought the boat (2.5 hr drive from my home) to fix or maintain my Sea-doo 150 Speedster jet boat. Due to multiple circumstances, the boat unfortunately sat trailered and unused for the past 7 years, and definitely needed a refresh & couple of replacement parts before it was ready for the river again. So, no surprise I was SUPER excited and thankful to find Arteen and his shop, (especially only being a quick drive into Escondido)! He is very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. On the way home I stopped by Havasu Powersports to see if I could get some answers on the poor performance. Arteen, the owner asked me a few questions, then recommended, new plugs, air filter and to drain some excess oil from the engine. I did all that he recommended, and can now say it runs like a brand new machine! Without question I would recommend Havasu Powersports if you need your PWC running as it should. But this is the right way to do it, esp with these frequently rented vehicles that can easily sustain minor damages if handled carelessly. The dude at the dock is also very helpful in helping you ride away from and approach the dock, the latter of which can be a little tricky. Other jetski rental services in the area have been far less clear and professional in my experience. And why deal with the choppy waves and high traffic of the Coronado area. Mission Bay's where it's at yo! And that makes this the go-to for some of the best jetskiing you can experience in SD and I'd say SoCal in general. When we first arrived, most of us needed to use the restroom (since there isn't one on the boat), and the girl working at check-in seemed a bit annoyed by that. You can bring your own 21+ drinks as long as they're not in glass containers, and you'll need to bring your own ice. Once you're out on the water, it's pretty lively with lots of other boats and people. We played our own music and just hung out--it was a really fun, chill experience. The two hours definitely go by fast, so keep an eye on the time. They're strict about going over, even by a minute, so we set a timer and started heading back 30 minutes before our end time. Overall, a fun and unique experience we'd recommend!

They were prompt and responsive on the phone when I made the booking. I received confirmation via text and email. On the day of the tour, I texted with the guide to confirm the time and location. The guide responded and everything seemed in order. However, when we arrived at the meeting spot in Mission Bay I got a text saying they were delayed 15-30 minutes for a coast guard inspection. I responded and said that was fine and that we would wait. However, they never came, never responded further and just left us waiting at the launch ramp for 45 minutes before we finally gave up and left. I've called and texted and they don't respond at all. I'm writing this review 3 hours after the tour was supposed to start and still nothing. Really unbelievable.
