we had a deep well drilled 6 months ago which we have had excessive sand come out of the well, causing issues throughout the water filtration system. Mr Ventura has tried fixing the issues by "putting bandaids" over them but not fixing the real issue of the sand. He's installed cheaper check valves that are not as sensitive to sand particles as the more expensive brass ones that our water system maintenance guy installed. He's installed a second pressure tank and pump to keep pressure in the check valves and prevent them from staying open when water is not being pumped out of the well. So now we have additional equipment installed that a normal well doesn't need. He also installed a sediment screen filter before the water softener because sand was clogging up the injector in the control valve. I now have to clean this screen filter every week otherwise it get's clogged with sand and filled with green algae. One other thing he installed, that now is completely nonfunctional, is a solenoid valve that's supposed to keep the aerator tank filled, but now it doesn't work at all so I have to manually open the valve to fill the tank multiple times a day, every time we start running out of water, when taking baths, washing dishes, etc, etc... It has been a nightmare. I've called Mr. Ventura and he said he would come and replace the solenoid valve but he's never come. And now the last two times that we've called him he is simply hanging up on us!!!! saying he will no longer be dealing with this and is now trying to blame the failure on the filtration system which is not functioning because of the sand from this bad well!! Sand should not be coming out of a well!! period!! I will be looking into filing small claims court because the well has a one year guarantee and he even said in past he would drill a new well if the sand problem did not go away. read more
