Great crew . They get it done. I seem to break lots of stuff but they got it all fixed thanks guys

This place is a complete scam. Juan hernandez is the biggest crook. He begged for payment upfront to put in a new engine into my vehicle. I waited for almost 3 weeks with nothing done to my cat. After picking up my car because this crook didn't do any work to it​, I asked for refund that he agreed to give me. I never received it so I contacted bank. To my surprise juan hernandez changed the business name to where a supposedly had my vehicle which caused my claim to be denied from bank. Well guess what Juan hernandez I kept proof of quote you gave me showing your real business name and our conversation. Bank re opened claim and I will get my money crook!!!

I arrived at Tire Man and explained the situation to Carey who is the manager and/or owner, and he said they would take care of it. I see people commenting on Yelp how great this business is and how they repair/patch tires often without charge. Well, they charged me $30. I paid $30 cash to owner/manager Carey, who did not provide or offer a receipt. Today, May 23, 2026 I was out driving and the tire warning light came on. I took it to the nearest tire shop, which was in Camarillo. They examined the tire and sprayed it with some solution and showed me that the tire/patch job that Tire Man had done was leaking air. Furthermore, they explained that 1) they would never charge for a patch and 2) a patched tire can't be re-patched for the same puncture. This was after 2pm on Saturday and Tire Man was closed. It's Saturday before a long weekend and lots of tire places are closed, closing or don't have the tire(s) I needed in stock. And I absolutely need the car for a weekend trip. So, the tire shop in Camarillo filled the tire up and called shops around T.O. and located another shop that had a replacement tire that would work. I drove to America's Tire in Thousand Oaks. They had a random one-off tire they could sell me, but explained that could and probably would set off the Audi Quattro traction control system. They strongly advised I buy two matching tires (albeit it not the original spec tires on the car, which neither they nor anyplace keeps in stock). So, I ended up buying two new tires from them for $1170. Because Tire Man performed a faulty repair/patch that failed (and evidently didn't check the quality of their own repair or they would have detected that it was still leaking air), I am now out $1170 and driving my car with mismatched front and back tires.

Mixed Experience but Great Service from Anthony…read more I came to Pep Boys for a quick Lyft inspection, which usually takes about ten minutes. I didn't realize an appointment was required, and when I first arrived an employee snapped at me about needing one. Not the warmest welcome, and it definitely caught me off guard. I went back to my car, scheduled an appointment online for 45 minutes later, and returned. This time, the experience was completely different. The woman at the front desk was kind, welcoming, and let me know the inspection would only take a few minutes. Anthony handled the actual inspection. He seemed quiet and introverted, but he was polite, efficient, and made the process smooth. The inspection was brief but thorough, and I appreciated his professionalism and kindness. Overall, the visit started off rocky but ended on a positive note thanks to the staff who helped me during my appointment, especially Anthony.

After that, they told me that two of the tires they installed were the wrong size and asked me to come back within three days to have them replaced. At that point, I was already frustrated with the wasted time and the need to return. I came back on Tuesday as instructed. The employee who helped me seemed unsure and told me it would take about an hour to confirm if they could fix the issue. After waiting 2 hours, I finally got my vehicle back. As soon as I got on the road, the car started shaking badly, so I had to return again. They rebalanced the wheels, which took another hour. By then, I had already spent around 6-8 hours dealing with this. A week later, I discovered that all four tires were losing air. On top of that, the TPMS system was not programmed correctly, and my dashboard showed incorrect tire positions. I tried going to other Pep Boys locations, but every time I was told the minimum wait time was 2 hours. Given how much time I had already lost, I couldn't afford to keep missing work. I called the company directly, explained the situation, and they scheduled me at a location near my home. I showed up at 8 AM for my appointment, only to be told the technician wouldn't be available for another 2 hours. At that point, I gave up and went to another tire shop, where they helped me immediately. Overall, I will go anywhere else for tire service but Pep Boys. I have never experienced such poor service from a chain. The staff were unprofessional, and their ability to fix their own mistakes was extremely disappointing.

Work Order: 221838 Initial Diagnostic: A/C blowing hot air due to a leak Recommended Resolution: Remove and replace A/C compressor, then recharge Outcome: Not resolved Despite four separate visits, the issue remains exactly the same as the A/C still blows hot air. After so many attempts, I asked if I could receive a refund, and I was given two options: 1) Bring the car back again 2) Submit a claim I chose to submit a claim because, after four unsuccessful attempts, I no longer felt confident returning to the same shop. The claim has been submitted, and I am now waiting for a call from the inspector. I also had to contact Firestone Customer Service myself to obtain the claim number, as it was not provided to me by the shop. I understand that mechanical issues can be complex, but customer service should never be compromised. This experience has left me frustrated, inconvenienced, and without a functioning A/C system despite the time and money invested.
