My experience was truly a DELIGHT! & dare I say...PAIN FREE!! When I first inquired about his office, I heard a lot of great feedback about him online, so I decided to get a consultation which was free. His wife, who is also a cosmetic surgeon, will probably be one of the first people you encounter upon inquiry. Not only is she extremely nice, she is very easy to talk to being that she is a woman, you can ask her anything and everything and she will be able to give you an honest answer. She does not beat around any bush and she clarifies a lot of the process, etc. Everything that was said in my consultation, throughout surgery, and after surgery has been consistent. His wife, Andrea even gave me her number in which I did find myself still texting about different things that came across my mind, and she always replies back. Till this day which is almost 6 months from my surgery, I can still text her and she will reply. My consultation was a great experience and very eye-opening. I felt like nothing was raising red flags for me, everything felt upfront and personal. I had a great lipo deal because of a social media sale that they were having, which they often have so keep a lookout!! The day of my surgery came and to say the least I was very impressed with the office, and the surgical team, and of course Dr. MVP. I underwent a full mommy makeover in November with this office and I truly wish I had looked deeper into post-operative complication management before choosing this surgeon. While the office is now attempting to frame my outcome as a normal healing process and unavoidable complication, my actual experience over the last several months tells a very different story. Following surgery, I experienced significant wound healing complications that required a wound vac, debridement surgery costing me over $1,000 out of pocket, antibiotics, Santyl, mupirocin, ongoing wound dressings/supplies, drainage issues, and prolonged healing complications beginning as early as December. At the same time, I repeatedly communicated concerns regarding increasing hardness, high-riding implants, asymmetry, discomfort, abnormal appearance, and progressive tightness. I sent numerous photos and messages over the course of months expressing that things did not feel or look right. Most of these concerns were repeatedly attributed to "drop and fluff," swelling, settling, massage, or needing more time to heal. Now that revision surgery is being recommended by other surgeons, it is extremely frustrating to look back at months of documented concerns that were continually minimized as normal healing. It is also frustrating to now receive lengthy explanations defending the management of my care rather than acknowledgment that perhaps more aggressive evaluation or intervention should have occurred earlier. The office has stated they offered in-person evaluations, but much of my follow-up care was intentionally managed virtually through photos and messaging, which I relied on heavily because I trusted their guidance. At no point was I made to feel the severity of my concerns warranted urgent intervention until things had progressed significantly. What has been most disappointing is not just the complications themselves, because complications can happen with any surgery, but the feeling of repeatedly advocating for myself while being reassured everything was normal despite worsening symptoms and mounting additional expenses. Between the wound vac, debridement, medications, wound care, time off work, emotional stress, and now revision surgery costs, this experience has been physically, emotionally, and financially exhausting. I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Vennemeyer and his entire team. From my very first appointment all the way through surgery and recovery, the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. To give some context I've only ever had C sections before this, so going into a completely elective surgery was honestly terrifying for me. But every single time I walked into their office, I immediately felt at ease. Dr. Vennemeyer is incredibly professional, supportive, and reassuring, and his staff are some of the warmest, most comforting people I've ever met. Even though I live out of state and had to travel for my procedure, the entire process was seamless. Their team was so accommodating with my schedule, and they truly went above and beyond leading up to surgery. They made sure I completed all of my pre-op testing on time and even reached out to other doctors on my behalf to ensure my results came in before my procedure. That level of care meant everything to me. On September 26 it was one year since my breast augmentation surgery with Dr. Michael. I came here because I knew some people who had their surgery done with him and everything went well, and also because on his Instagram the patients' photos looked good--so I trusted him without knowing it would be one of the worst decisions. Not only did he leave me with one breast smaller than the other (yes, I know it's natural for one breast to be slightly smaller, but if you undergo breast surgery it's supposed to make them look even and actually show the results), but in my case one breast was left noticeably smaller. The only way it even looks like I had surgery is if I wear a push-up bra. It's sad because I never said I wanted to look "natural" or like I didn't have surgery. The day of the surgery, they gave me a bra that was way too small, which left marks, hurt a lot, and was very uncomfortable. On top of that, they sutured the left breast with very few stitches, which left me with a deep open wound for more than 4 months. They didn't care about it and only tried to charge me more money for a "vacuum cleaner" treatment they claimed would close the wound "quickly." It cost around $500-$600, plus $50-$60 each time I went to change the dressing. When I told them I didn't have the money, their only solution was to tell me to go to a wound care center if I had insurance. You might ask, why wait a year to write this? Well, because their response was always: "Every body is different and you have to wait at least a year to see results." So I waited a year, and believe me, every single day I regret it and it makes me sad that I have to wear a bra for it to even look like I had surgery, and that one of my breasts is smaller than the other. When I brought this up, they told me they could "fix" my breasts and that I only had to pay $7,435 because there was a "VIP discount" of -$750 (I don't even know what kind of discount that is). Obviously, I didn't say anything else, because what experienced surgeon leaves you with one smaller breast, poorly sutures you, gives you a bra that injures you, and then wants to charge you more money? (By the way, I had already paid for two surgical bras. When I told them the first one they gave me was too small, they only exchanged one and I ended up losing the money for the first bra.) Also keep in mind, seeing the doctor is a whole process. After the surgery, I had to go three separate times just to be able to see him. He has a lot of positive reviews, but not everything is as perfect as it looks! Supposedly, they put in 485cc implants, but it doesn't look like it. My right breast is quite saggy and they don't even look like silicone implants. Honestly, without a bra they don't look operated at all, there's no shape or definition. They only gave me the implant card days later, and that was because I specifically asked for it. This was my experience, and it was not good at all. DO NOT GO HERE. I wasn't going to leave a bad review because I figured it's not worth my time or energy. HOWEVER, if by any chance I can prevent another woman from making the same mistake that I did by choosing this Dr, I will write a review for the sole purpose of that. I whole heartedly believe the day of my appointment I was just another body on his operating table with nothing but a quick, meaningless $ sign taped on me. Maybe I was the unlucky one and many others have had amazing experiences with beautiful results, who knows. August 31st of last year was the day of my surgery. I followed up with Dr V almost a year later August 14th 2019 concerning my results and how my breasts have settled. From what I've been told, it takes about 6 months to a year for implants to fully settle in their forever position so before over reacting I waited almost a full year to express my concerns, if by that point I had any. This is the best way I can explain my results: I have a left breast that completely DENTS inward when my pec muscle is barely flexed. Even if I gently lean down on my arm it dents inward on the entire side of my breast and you can see a flat pocket that seperates from where the implant actually is. It is awkwardly shaped and embarrasing. Overall, both of my breasts are far apart and oddly cone shaped. When I lay down it's almost as if I'm still completely flat chested and the implants travel towards my armpits. I was told this is to due with my anatomy and how my body/chest structure is. Why wasn't I explained all of this on my consultation? I'm not an expert but I know the results I have gotten are not because of my body composition. There are flat chested transgender men who get breast implants and their results look a million times better than mine. As stated before, I believe the morning of my appointment (arrived at 4 am) I was probably just another body and $ sign. Overall I believe my surgery was rushed and time and attention was NOT spent on me as it should have been. Besides the indentation on my breast, I have awful scars which I was also given a strange reason for that I can't recall. However Dr Vennemeyer admitted that my scars are larger than normal and stated that I would have to have a 'scar revision' surgery to fix them, or at least make them smaller. His solution for the dent in my breast was to possibly have a fat grafting procedure to fill in the space and add volume where the implants seperates OR remove the implants and place them over the muscle rather than under the muscle OR remove the implants and insert smaller implants. Either option I choose, he advised that it still wouldn't really help the fact that my implants would still be far apart because of my body composition. Basically any suggestion he had came with a BUT... after it. I can't recapture everything word for word because I was in tears by the end of the visit but I got the jist of what he was trying to say and that was that not only is there nothing he can do, there's nothing that he would WANT to do to resolve my concerns. If you have the same experience and get poor results PLEASE be prepared because he WILL somehow, someway, blame it on you and pull out his book of medical terms to confuse you and baffle you when you know deep down what he's saying isn't right. I hope & pray no other woman has to experience this when the only reason they decide to do these sort of things is to feel more beautiful and confident in themselves. read more

I had a breast augmentation done by Dr Vennemyer in October of 2017. by January of 2018 my implants were noticeable bottomed out. when i went back to discuss the issue with Dr Vennemyer he told me it was my fault, although i took 6 weeks off of work and wore the post op bra the entire time. When I brought up options he basically told me there was nothing he could do accept go in and put a VERY dangerous mesh in that would possibly not even fix the problem. oh and for another couple thousand. there are wayyyy better surgeons that are a lot nicer and more affordable. $$ doesn't always equate to a better outcome. read more

I don't have enough words to express my happiness!!! I am 22 years old and I lost 150 pounds. Losing that amount of weight I was left with excess skin EVERYWHERE.... I could literally pick up my skin and move it around. When I went in for a consultation Ashely made me feel so comfortable. I kept insisting that I needed to lose more weight but she kept insisting that it was just skin and Dr.V could get rid of it... This was back in June and we pre booked my surgery for October.... the 4 months following my surgery date Ashley was on top of it making sure I was okay and prepared for surgery with weekly text encouraging me and telling me how proud she was of my weight loss... however because I had sooo much excess skin I was a candidate for the FDL tummy tuck, which would of meant I would of been cut down the middle of my stomach and hip to hip. I knew this from the first consultation and even though I didn't want the FDL tummy tuck scar I wanted the best results. I prayed to God for acceptance and peace of mind about having that type of scar. This was a big deal because I'm 22 and have been overweight my entire life and the chance I get to show my body I would have this big scar in the middle of my stomach.... fast forward to September. The entire team is amazing. From the first consultation all the way to post op. There was a point during the process where I thought it was way too seamless and easy. I thought surely something isn't ok because this process should feel way more difficult, but it was the complete opposite. Everything is so seamless because they are so well organized. They answer every single call/text. You get set up with an online chart that has everything you can possibly think of in clear detail. They even make charts for you to be able to keep track of all the important post op things like fluid, protein, medication intake. The key is to get into your portal and read all the info. I was even concerned because the medication list seemed slightly weak to me, but I never felt any discomfort from the moment I woke up on the surgery table. Literally that easy. I am so disappointed and completely unsatisfied with my mommy makeover that Dr. Vennemeyer performed last November. I've now spent over a year trying to get them to do the right thing and contact me after I voiced my concerns with how my body was left and complete botched, even sent a certified letter voicing my concerns and they will not get back to me. My lipo 360 and breast lift left me with unevenness, rippling, distorted figure, and so many problems. I've met with other surgeons trying to see what my options are to 'fix' what Dr. V did and left me with. So upsetting and so disappointed with Dr. V and Andrea! My hope is that by writing this review I can warn and educate others that they will be the next botched job for Dr. Vennemeyer. I cannot express how thankful I am to Dr. Vennemeyer and his entire staff! My first appointment with Dr. V was in 2016 and I immediately knew he was the right Surgeon for me. Dr. V is by far the best plastic surgeon I have had the pleasure to work with. This experience taught me the difference between a good surgeon and a great surgeon. I am almost 7 weeks post op and extremely happy with my results! A couple of years ago my daughter found Dr. V through her own research. I had taken my daughter to the day surgery center, as they took her to the OR, I was told by a nurse (the surgery facility and nurse were not affiliated with Dr. V) "don't worry, Dr. V is a perfectionist, he will not come out of there until he gets everything perfect, she is going to be really happy with the results." That struck me because I had never heard a nurse make such a confident statement about a surgeon. She went on to tell me that she had seen a lot of his work and he does an amazing job. Based on the nurse's statements and my daughter's experience, when asked by a relative for a referral, I relayed the information to her. She had the mommy makeover and was over the top happy with her results. Having a personal connection with two prior patients, I made the choice to have my surgery - best choice I ever made! I was very nervous because of multiple disappointing surgeries. I was able to schedule my surgery very quickly. The time allotted for my surgery was 3 1/2 hours, it ended up taking 5 1/2 hours. I had scars from prior surgeries that he was able to remove. Dr. V was able to achieve the desired results based on a photo I chose of a prior patient (the photo is displayed as a visual of desired results during surgery). I did not think it was truly possible to get the results I wanted, I had it in my mind if he got close, I would be very happy. Again - blown away! So many things set him apart from other surgeons such as discussing your desired results both verbal and visual and providing realistic expectations, discussing health concerns, reviewing your medical history, prescription history, obtaining clearance from current medical providers, providing nutritional requirements post-surgery, the importance of post-surgical garment use and how they affect the outcome, precautions taken to prevent infection before, during and after surgery, daily review of post-surgery photos each morning that are reviewed by a nurse on a daily basis and assessing any areas of concern, evening appointments, exceptional wound care and communicating with staff 24/7 and receiving timely responses. This level of care is crucial to the surgical results, I can speak from experience because I did not have this level of care with prior surgeons and did not get great results. I found myself wondering why I did not receive this level of care from two other surgeons, one of which is a well-known surgeon in Dallas that came highly recommended. Why does Dr. V take these measures when other surgeons do not? I believe the difference is that Dr. V truly cares about how his patients feel about the results and their experience with him and his team. Do not have surgery with this dr! I had my boobs done May 2018 and loved them then went back for 360 lipo as well as lipo to my inner and outer thigh November 2018! I had my breast done first and loved them and loved the dr. I came back 6 months later for liposuction and ended up in the hospital! This happen a few days after my surgery due to meds that he put me on prior to surgery! Which hey that is a learning experience I think and every patient is different! But the part that makes me mad and upset is after I spent over a week in hospital and went to his office, I was in bad shape and I was badly depressed for everything I was going through from being in the hospital and dealing with seromas! His bedside manner was horrible the way he spoke to me and acted as if he didn't care! I screamed at him and told him he better leave the room I no longer wanted to see his face! He later came back in and said let's start over! But for a dr to treat you that bad and talk to you the way he did horrible. His wife is the one who came in and de-escalated the situation and made things better! But for him to treat anyone that way someone who just had surgery and feeling down and to act as if he did not care is crazy! In no way did he try to make me feel better! But you best believe the night before my first surgery when I was scared and didn't want to have surgery he stayed on the phone a whole hour to talk me into it! Also I scheduled a BBL with my surgery of lipo and few days before surgery changed my mind and did not do the BBL and was still charged 10,000 for just the lipo! The day I arrived for surgery I asked if I could go ahead with BBL and was told no!! Lastly I had surgery jitters and was super scared on my second surgery for my lipo! I actually texted his wife and said to cancel I was not coming because I was scared! The nurse called me and spoke to me so horrible and told me " I better get there and get there now, and she had a operating room to operate" instead of offering words of encouragement that maybe would have led me to going ahead and going that day she talked horrible to me! I ended up going to surgery that following Monday but ended up with the experience above! He treated me like a piece of dirt! I referred many patients to him who will also never be back to him since I told them what happen! My paperwork for missing work were all done in a timely manner. The nurse who helped me with my seromas every day I drove to the office for 2-3 weeks straight! His wife is a sweetheart! I love my results but the way he treated me along with the head nurse is unacceptable! So do not have surgery here becauseif anything happens you will get no compassion and be treated like dirt! read more

Dr. Vennemeyer sent me in for surgery without being completely cleared for surgery. I was directed by him to see a hemotologist because my mother has had a DVT before. After getting results back they said they we were good to go. On the day of surgery, I took the Valium I was prescribed and headed to the surgery center. When I checked in, they wanted me to pay more than what was initially agreed upon so I called Andrea (Dr. V's wife). She said don't pay anything, you actually haven't been cleared for surgery. They had found this out the night before and didn't even call me! On top of that they apologized and said if I ever get cleared they would basically give me a "free" surgery. Now that I've been off birth control (which caused a red flag in my blood and disappeared after 3 months of being off the pill), I am clear to have surgery by the hemotologist but they continue to deny me. I've heard great things about Dr. V but I definitely think they could have handled this situation better. I could have made it to work if I didn't eat all those happy pills on my "surgery day". I am very disappointed they won't work with me after being cleared. It has changed my whole perspective on getting a breast lift and the whole experience feels ruined for me. read more

Amazing doctor!! I had a "mommy makeover" done and could not be more happy with the results. I went in not knowing what I wanted and he and his team took a lot of time and showed me through a ton of options and he gave me his recommendation which ended up being PERFECT! My breast look natural and the perfect size for me. He also gives you his cell phone so you can call/text anytime and makes you feel like you're his only patient. Beautiful office, but the front door is directly on a busy road. So, if you are trying to be discrete about your cosmetic needs, then this isn't the place for you! However,, the staff is super friendly and attentive. The doctor spends time discussing the procedures and he does all injections himself. I've had injections before from other doctors but Dr Vs injections were by far the most painful and left me the most bruised! And the results were definitely not worth the process. read more
