This is your toilet room next to your snack table and TV. The shower and sink are behind that wall. It's a small space, too.

Watch your wallet and check your billing invoice for errors. When I ate food from the in-room snacks, Venice V Hotel literally doubled that entire snack bill with snacks that I never ate. Untrustworthy. When I ate zero snacks, Venice V Hotel also literally added snacks that I never ate. Untrustworthy. When I made two reservations, Venice V Hotel meged my two reservations into one reservation, and said that my first reservation's substantial discount was voided because they changed it into a newly merged reservation. I never asked them to do that merger. I asked them to book a second reservation for additional days. Untrustworthy. The average room fits a bed, a single broom closet for your clothes and their refrigerator, and a snack table. The bathroom and shower area are small like closets. Uncomfortable. The money that Venice V Hotel spent on the lobby's eye-appeal should have been spent on training for the managerial and bookkeeping staff to make the customer's stay a pleasant and less time-consuming stay. Unprofessional and Stressful. The parking is conveniently behind the Venice V Hotel, and the parking staff were professional and pleasant to their customers. Relaxing. I preferred to stay at a less expensive hotel that is ultra clean, has friendly staff, keeps the billing invoice accurate every time, and has a better view of the beach just a few blocks north. I cannot say enough good things about our night here. We stayed here after an international flight and had a 16 hour layover. The check in was so easy, right next to the beach, easy to walk to things. They had bikes for rent and a well stocked mini bar. The boxed water was free and our room was lovely!! Exposed brick and a very cool step up into a balcony area. I wish we had thought to take photos. We walked down to Freddy's Tacos and then woke up the next morning and had a great cup of matcha at the place next door - Groundwork Coffee Co. I would come back and stay here again! It made us wish we had an even longer layover.

Arriving in Venice. Just down the street from the Venice V.

We had an amazing experience at the Venice Hotel. The staff was great. The room was spotless. This is exactly how you would want a hotel experience to be. The location was so perfect. Valet parking available with In and Out. Already planning my next trip back to the Venice V hotel. Can't wait. Thank you staff!

Nothing short of an amazing stay. The room was awesome, beautiful, clean, unique, and overall a wonderful stay. It was the perfect get away and I wish we stayed longer. I loved the location and the morning view was breathtaking. Service was amazing and staff was friendly. Felt safe and comfortable!

Pictures and real life hotel aren't the same -room is so tiny -no mini fridge -shower head water is so weak pressure -receptionist let us know housekeeper won't clean room everyday , ONLY per request. receptionist didn't mention we would be charged for " cleaning " which it was just get new clean towels and bed made. Sheets , pillow cases weren't new for cleaning. -Venice beach was beautiful but location wasn't so safe. Many homeless. For being a tourists , never been in the area , it's quite scary. If the price was $200 per night , we still wouldn't go back to stay. We did pay too much for very little We might expected too high but from website , it looks so good to be true

Hello Yelpers! I wanted to drop a quick note about Venice V Hotel. My boyfriend and I decided to have a quick getaway to the beach last month. We stayed one wonderful night with the Venice V Hotel and loved it! It's beautifully renovated, with a nod to the original design and architecture of the 1930s. It's amazing. The location couldn't be better, literally right on Venice Beach in the middle of everything. The staff was great as well. Since this was our first time away together, I called to specify that I really wanted the partial Oceanview room that was online, the manager told me he'd make a note to make sure we got the room. When we arrived and checked in, they upgraded us to the PH, which was so nice! My boyfriend and I went to lunch, came back, enjoyed the view then watched the sunset, changed and went for a walk before heading to dinner with his friend that was in LA visiting. The next morning we borrowed two bikes (that's included) in the stay, it's first come, first serve so reserve early! We biked to brunch and then checkout the murals, then did a little shopping, before coming back to LA. It was relaxing and fun! I can't wait to go back again. Thank you!

The staff here treated us so wonderfully and gave us the best room we've ever stayed in. The hotel was clean, beautiful and extremely well located. Our room had the best view of the ocean, it couldn't get better than that! The room was gorgeous, with an amazing hair and skin product brand. Also came equipped with an espresso machine and a smart TV. There was a great rooftop lounge area, and free bikes to ride too! It was so cute and cozy, I could honestly live here forever. We will definitely be back. HIGHLY recommend. I promise it's worth every penny!

This boutique hotel is a part of the Proper Hotel group (yes, Kelly Wearstler's domain!) and that high quality, unpretentious hospitality. Aesop bathing supplies, feather comforters, fluffy clean towels, Nespresso coffee, boxed water, skateboards, bikes, beach towels, but most remarkably the best ocean views for its price point and coastal location. Surprisingly, Venice boardwalk has cleaned up and this place is a true hidden gem. Lots of good food and live music steps away. My new go to when in town for work. Leave your fake lashes at home and bring your beach hat for some down to earth fun!

Super cozy, modern amenities and offerings. I stayed for a night and was impressed- I wasn't expecting a ton but there was attention to detail everywhere and 24 hour staff service is great. Easy to use access cards for hotel door. Great for dogs. Also the minibar and snack bar are $$ but worth it. They have bikes and stuff you can use but I didn't make avail of anything.

Something about this Ritz, that didn't feel like one. The view of the Marina was beautiful especially being able to watch the sunset from our balcony. I felt it lacked the warmth that I usually feel the moment I arrive at any Ritz from valet to the door attendant etc. Same amenities in the room with Diptyque products, water bottles were regular plastic, the gym didn't have headphones - just those little things - no umbrellas upfront. We did enjoy the hot cocoa set up in a little gingerbread house and the hallway holiday decor were nice. We collect the Ritz hat wherever we stay and we saw one displayed at the boutique but they don't sell it the boutique and instead you'd have to see the concierge and they only had two branded items: hat and mug! What? Oh and the mug was sold out. On the day of departure I had to ask the concierge once more and lucky for me Amanda was working and when I asked her about the mug and other merch, she said she had one more mug! She was wonderful and turned things around for us - the kind of Ritz service we had longed for this visit. The night before another staff member was covering to help us at concierge who said mug was sold out. Hmmmm. Anyway, as mentioned this one didn't feel like the usual Ritz. Also valet is steep and to be expected at $60 per day.

This was particularly disappointing given the fact that the weather was absolutely beautiful, with the nice breeze accommodating the 75 plus degree or so weather. It also did help that Sam's coffee call, another great spot inside this hotel was also closed. Apparently their hours are a little more stricter and based around the morning crowd. All in all, the ambience, location, and good vibe feeling still are going to dominate this particular location and hotel. You simply can't go wrong, even if the rooftop is closed. Our room had a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. We could even open the screen door to let some fresh air in. Towels were clean; the sheets were clean. The heating and cooling unit in the room worked well. You do have to insert your key card into the power switch to get electricity in the room. No real complaints about the room, except that they had some unfinished work in our bathroom on the ceiling... whatever work they were doing, they had a duct-tape situation going on and the tape would fall down when the shower got steamy... but no harm, no foul. They re-taped it back up the next day. Staff was pleasant. The front desk has little extra toiletries available if you forget to pack something. We had a nice stay in Marina del Rey overall. I can see this being a good hotel for an extended stay.
