Had them for years for termites. Sold my home and had to pay for tenting for termites. Did not kill them. ​

I have been a customer there for 15 years and have had many periods where I questioned whether they even showed up at my house when I was away in the summer season. They have very inconsistent practices about notification when they will be on site. I recently questioned this and they became very angry. In trying to resolve a billing issue, I dealt with a young lady in the office, Sadie, who has the worst Customer Service attitude I've ever seen. She absolutely refuses to allow anyone to speak to her supervisor. She canceled my service because she was unable to figure out the address of the service site. She was screaming into the phone and acting a fool. I feel really bad for the people that started this company 50 years ago. They need to see what is happening! These current managers are running their business into the ground!!! read more

We signed a year contract with them and had trouble getting the service we needed. When I called the office I was told my service guy contacted me and would not believe me when I said he never called! She said he will call you later today and that call never came. Our tech, Demitri was AWESOME, however, their office is such a train wreck on the accounting side I just couldn't deal with them. Rude phone reps cut you off and speaks over your. Checks mailed take 30-60 days to cash, but their online credit card system is often down and you get a 404 error message when you try and pay that way. The owner has a policy of suspending service for anyone who hasn't paid within 30 days even if their bill was received 14 days after service and there's no way a mailed check makes it on time. We tried to stick around because the service tech was so good, but their accounting system, payment system, web site and absolutely terrible office staff was just horrendous. Their price is competitive, their filed service is great, but their administration just can not handle their business volume and can not seem to act professionally. read more

This year however has been the worst in terms of service and the overall health and appearance of the lawn. I've been a homeowner for the last 50 years, never had a lawn as small as this and never spent so much money for such poor results. read more

Then my elderly mother gets a call saying they are turning her to collections over a charge from LAST year ? Very rude lady on phone. I will NEVER use them and will tell everyone not to use them. Red Ants...Black Ants...nasty little creatures! I contacted VPC and they came out right away! They were absolutely great to work with and they taught me so much about these darn ants (I'm new to FL). Ever since they left, I haven't seen one ant - very happy indeed! Plus I am super health-conscious and have 2 dogs so it was very important that the treatments not be toxic. I scheduled an appointment with someone in this company. Everything was fine. I got a call the next day from someone else in the company letting me know the person who made the appointment was fired. They had no documentation of my appointment. Also, they tried to tell me the price I was quoted was insufficient. I worked with them and set up the appointment for the same time I had originally set it up for. They never showed up. When I called to find out why they told me the appointment was for next week. This is a unreliable operation. I would not use them. read more

I was told to leave there office or the Hispanic guy in the pictures next to the older white guy who will not contact me. By told to leave he kicked open a door and screamed leave the office now. I said well let's talk about this out side. He then threaten my with bodily harm. He was to scared to actually come outside he hid behind his two office lady who where clues about the quests I was asking. I Have Hyper active disorder. I explained that the only reason I was here is because I just found bugs in my attic and I had been up in if for the past three hours. There a lazy company that doesn't hold try to there word. We had Venice Pest Control (VPC)in November 2018 for a problem with fire ants. A gentleman arrived promptly, gave us a price and scheduled the appointment. On the day of the treatment I referred my neighbor who also bought the treatment plan and I asked if there was any discount for the referral. I was told "nope." When you sign the authorization to treat, you're asked to initial a section that schedules you for "auto-renewal" but I was not told that was for auto-renewal. I do not like "auto-renew" so I called on 4/`12/19, spoke to Dawn, and stated that I did not want to conbtinue service. Nonetheless I still recived a letter on 9/12/19 stating that I needed to notify VPC if I wanted to cancel. I called and left a message to cancel on 9/14/19 at 4:08PM and called again today, 9/24/19 at 10:36AM, leaving a message to cancel. Dawn (who is very pleasant) returned my call from today and acknowledged the cancellation. I'm glad that she returnded my call as I have no intention of sending a letter via certified mail and fortunately, my phone service carrier has a record that I called the company several times. Bottom line, acceptable fire ant control treatment but lousy customer service. read more

These guys aren't the ones wearing the white hats in this business: I hired these folks because my tenant came home with a newborn baby and had roaches; I paid a PREMIUM, WAY MORE THAN COMPETITORS for them to get rid of the roaches, promising I would not have another problem --but the roaches outsmarted them, making my tenant understandably very upset when she found roaches on her baby. The biggest problem is that when I called for a retreatment I got a runaround the likes I have seldom seen before. And again, A NEWBORN BABY --just down the street from them.
