Purchase 4 yards of 2" shadow rock in April 2021for some backyard pathways but when it was…read moredelivered the size of the rock was a little bigger that what was on their outside sample displays so it wouldn't work for what we needed. I went back and informed them about the problem and they agreed that the shadow rock that was delivered was a bit bigger than advertised. I was assisted by Chelsea Aguilar who was very understanding and informed me that she would talk to the general manager and get back with me. The following morning she called and when I went in she said that they were willing to work with me. Long story short, I ended up getting the smaller 1" shadow rock at a discount and on top of that she waived the delivery fee. She turned out what could have been a bad experience into a great experience. We will definitely keep supporting this business and will recommend it to our friends. Again, thank you Chelsea for being so helpful and professional in resolving this matter! H. F. San Antonio, TX

My wife and I were on a hunt for some landscape rock yesterday and found this gem of a business…read more The place was organized for easy access to the materials and they have a good selection to choose from, in pallets or by the piece. We had some questions so we visited the office and were helped immediately. They had some great ideas to share with us and suggested we walk the yard with one of their employees. And that's where we met Mateo, the yard manager. He was extremely helpful with great ideas about our project and took the time to walk us through some solid choices to consider. His smile and Texas style firm handshake sealed the deal for me. I'm going back with my pickup truck!

My idea of home improvement is painting my bedroom windows black and cutting up stray Nerf balls…read morethat land in my front yard*. My dad, however, is an amateur handyman and loves taking on little projects. When he heard that I needed a custom-built stand to house several vintage game consoles, he suggested I join him at the local Lowe's, so off we went. My experience today was limited to the plywood section, so I can offer no comment on the rest of the store. All I know is that the aisles were clear, the varieties of plywood were labeled clearly, and the employees were eager to offer assistance. One young employee even offered to cut the wood at no additional cost, a service I would not have expected. The dimensions I required were apparently a bit unorthodox, but the employee managed to cut every piece required out of a single sheet of plywood, minimizing waste and maximizing value. During checkout, the cashier noticed my dad's Marine Corps jacket and gave him a 10% military discount, bringing my total to a mere $31 for the wood, super glue, and a box of nails. I'm not sure what the competition charges, but I can't imagine a much better deal than that. I'm not sure why this particular Lowe's has such a low overall rating. Most commentary on this platform offends my grammarian sensibilities, so I can't be bothered to read the other reviews. The negative reviews are probably hastily written diatribes about "rude" employees and decapitations (amateur ceiling fan installations gone awry) . But I digress. I had a swell experience here this afternoon, so perhaps you will, too. *I might not know much about home improvement, but I am an authority on all things paranormal. I should improve my knowledge of the former and host a show on DIY in which I fix up houses of the damned. A few possible scenes... "Ok, so the guttural, disembodied voices are keeping you guys up at night, so here's what I can do. I can install sound absorption panels in your bedroom so that instead of hearing, "ABADDON, AZAZEL, BAPHOMET, BEELZEBUB, BELIAL, MAKE THESE INTERLOPERS YOUR VILE HOSTS!!!", you'll instead here a much quieter, more subdued, "Abaddon, Azazel, Baphomet, Beelzebub, Belial, make these interlopers your vile hosts." "Now, as for these walls, I think the problem is that you went with light blue wallpaper, which is both out of style and only makes the blood oozing out of the walls that much more apparent. What I can do is paint the walls a crimson red, which matches the Victorian style of the house and helps camouflage the blood."

I want to say that Will Barnett is an awesome associate at this store, I had a lot of questions…read morebeing that I am a novice, and not a handyman, and Will was able to help me with no problems, he gladly helped me, and made me feel important, these days it is hard to find anyone who actually cares anymore, but Will is an outstanding associate, I highly recommend him to anyone who might need help in this store. The store is very awesome too. Had just what I needed, and Will even left and found the items that I needed without me having to follow him around. Thank You Will!
