Went to the Circus earlier today. We had a great time. Everyone was super friendly. The acts were high quality and really amazing. The ticket process and concession purchases were cashless which made everything pretty easy. We highly recommend this circus for a really fun time.

Such a fun show! Performers were amazing, great music, bright and colorful set up, wonderful all around! Show was 90 minutes with a 10 minute intermission. Just right, as we were entertained the whole time. They don't do a ton of advertising yet the shows seem to sell out so if you have a chance, do it! We bought the premium seats,(all seats are good, there aren't any behind so not sure what other reviewer was talking about) not VIP, and seats were great, facing stage, and venue is small so you really get to so performers faces and smiles!! Highly recommend!

Was looking for something to do this weekend and saw the circus plug on the local news. Sounded fun so we bought the VIP tix. We sat edge of stage on a hot day. The tent was cooled and the temp stayed comfortable. The show was way better than expected. Don't let the local mall parking lot fool you. Great talent and a bit of Broadway. Comedy was fun for everyone. We do Vegas three times a year, and all the shows there, as well. This talent was as good. Lights and costumes are fine, but talent is what makes a show. Highly recommend.

There's something beautifully nostalgic about seeing a circus tent but walking into one, lights lit, is magical. It feels like walking into a story and will likely be a core memory for my son. My son, five years old, LOVED it! I found myself grinning cheek to cheek while impressed by the talented performers. All of the merchandise was reasonably priced but make sure to buy early otherwise you might get stuck waiting in a long line -same goes for face painting (cash/card). As for refreshments, they sell: popcorn, cotton candy, nachos, pretzels, candy, snow cones, water and pink lemonade. The seating is standard (non-stadium) -old school chairs on the lawn. Close to the front seating is best but really any spot is great since a lot of the acts are on stage or aerial. There's no animals, no traditional clowns and the seating is limited and intimate. The way everything is setup, it truly feels like being transported back in time. I loved it so much that I plan to attend another show and highly recommend anyone who's interested to visit while it's in town!

You want to know what makes this circus special? It's their HEART! Yes, the talent is incredible, but their integrity and message MAKE this show what it is!

Today was my 2nd time visiting the amazing Vernados family. I personally thanked Kevin Vernados, after hearing how he got to where he is. He has a very kind soul. Thank you sir. The clowns, the acrobats, and the costumes are a sight to see! I'm already looking forward to next year

Took the family to the circus last night. They were set up at Wright Park. My six-year-old daughter absolutely loved it! Everyone was so friendly and personable and the show was very entertaining! So much talent and a great story on how it began. We had popcorn, pretzels, and lemonade and my daughter got her face painted. Just a fantastic time! Can't wait to go again next year. Hope they come back!!

Just me and my husband went in Longmont, CO and we had a great time! Kevin Venardos was a great ring leader and it was obvious how passionate he was. It was clearly a small familial operation but impressive none the less. If you are looking for an authentic and touching experience, this is it! We will be back.

Had an amazing time at Vernardos Circus tonight with the family. The acts were phenomenal, the message was amazing, and it really exceeded our expectations. I also got to be part of the show which was unexpected, a little out of my comfort zone, but a really cool memory. Blown away 5 stars isn't really enough! Amazing job to the entire team!!!!!

Amazing truly American circus! We took two kids (ages 5 & 7) and they loved it!!! Truly great performances, talented individuals, and a wonderful heart warming message about diversity and seeking your dreams.

Holy cow. This was an amazing show. The performers were all so good! You can tell they love what they do and that they practice their tails off. Holy crap, what some of them make look easy!! It's worth getting there the hour before the show starts when they first open the doors. The performers are actually out, interacting with the audience, strolling the aisles and stopping for pictures. They had a bunch of activities for the kids to get up on stage and be involved in the beginning too! Hoopla hoops and a chance to hold a spinning basketball on a pen while parents snapped photos. There were a few hiccups tonight. The popcorn machine didn't have power for a while, the lighting didn't always cooperate or have the right cues, there were people trying to cheat the system and sit in the premium seats, ect. Typical opening night oopses that will get better with time, but everything, (from what I saw) was handled beautifully. Honestly? I loved this show so more than I ever loved the old "big" circus. This was so much smaller, so much more intimate. You feel like you're a part of the show. Heck, half the audience was!

I missed it so much. I heard TMP was casting for South Pacific so that was my intro to meeting Jon and Jeff. I played Bloody Mary in South Pacific, I was part of Wedding Singers ensemble plus I played Imelda Marcos, I played Madame Liang in the reboot version of Flower Drum Song. I also did shows with the Children's Theater at TMP. I played The Sour Kangaroo in Seussical, and Princess Lucille in Junie B Jones and a little monkey business. I did a couple shows outside of TmP, and also invited to audition on Broadway. But after a few deaths in my family I decided to take a hiatus from doing shows. I'm still on a long hiatus. Actually at my age I don't think I could keep up with the young ones. Like any theater it had some improvements needed. Which TMP has done over the years . I've tried to support when I could. It's not very close to where I live. It's about a 30 minute drive. After all these years I'm just now writing this review because I regret not auditioning or even performing at TMP. I always tell people life is too short don't wait. Well recently we lost Jon who was co-founder, director, and choreographer of TMP. He and his partner Jeff were a big part of the Tacoma area arts. I do hope his legacy lives on. RIPARADISE Jon!

I have driven by it enough times and some of their productions caught my eye more than once but what brought us here was for a production of Xanadu. Xanadu is a movie which stars Olivia Newton John and Fred Astaire makes an appearance in it as well. The movie was a real slog for me even though the movie is a cult classic and I love those types of movies... but "cult classic" is a very broad range and not all have the same appeal. The musical play is a spoof of the film and I knew it would have a brisker pace than the movie and I enjoyed it a lot! It was lots of fun and the songs sung served as a reminder of what's in the movie and had more of a positive earworm than a slog. The performers were great and they successfully cast a positive and feel good charm which was much needed. The Playhouse is also getting The Wedding Singer from the 80's inspired movie which I know would be a lot of fun and in this case I enjoyed the film much more!

How many studios have enough boys to do that?? This one! This is not a "competitive" studio. You compete against yourself to do your best. The Company (high schoolers) dancers are all different body types and even skill levels. They do it all together though. The older kids are serious about setting an example for the younger dancers. I started volunteering to Stage Manage (previous life for me) about 3 years ago, so I have a solid look at back stage behavior when other adults aren't looking. I have never heard a snide remark between any of them, only support and encouragement. I've written so much about the community and that probably isn't why someone is looking at these reviews! Instruction: the director is highly qualified and continues to take classes to grow. She understands the growing body and made it her focus to learn how to support highly mobile (flexible) bodies with muscle strengthening. Since my kids are hyper-mobile, this was critical to our decision. They are doing something right - I've yet to hear of a dancer getting hurt from dance. The performances are gorgeous. This is not a recital at the community center. This is full on lights, sound (sometimes live), tickets, and a story line. The youngest dancers are part of the compelling story, not a cute aside. Yes, they are cute, and the costumes scream, "Take a picture for graduation yearbook!" If you are interested or even curious, call the studio and ask to visit a class. We are looking for the next members of our community.

The owner Alyssa and the other instructor I've seen are both super encouraging and refused to let me give up/watch from the side lines and gave tips on how to adapt moves to my skill level. I especially appreciated it in a particular class where I didn't think I was physically capable of a particular move and was able to get it with some assistance. I'll definitely be back and I also love that the classes in a package don't expire, which is great since its hard for me to find classes that fit around my work schedule and other classes. The class sizes are great (8 max for most classes) and the students have all been supportive and friendly.
