My mom used this place. She passed away in October so I brought my taxes to them also. She had a living trust and I wanted to make sure things were done right. The first time I went in I didn't have all the paperwork that I needed. Mrs. Venable gave me a list of what I needed to bring and I dropped it off 2 weeks later. I called them at the end of the month because I didn't hear anything from them. The woman I spoke to told me that they did the taxes of people who owed money first and that nothing was wrong. Even though I found that strange I said thank you and hung up. The first week of April someone called me and told me that I needed a cost sheet. I called my mothers financial advisor and he faxed them one the same day. The following week which was the week before April 15, I got a call telling me that I needed a Trust ID number and that Vickie filed for an extension and that she would contact me to make an appointment for me to get this number after tax season. This lady could have told me I need this number the first time I went. I freaked out I couldn't believe this. My mother was 87 and NEVER in her whole life was she late with her taxes.I guess they figured shes dead what the heck does she care. I had to call them 3 times to get an appointment. It took 5 minutes to get the tax ID number I didn't have to sign anything . I couldn't believe it! They called me 5 days later to tell me the taxes were ready. The bill for all this $761. I would have brought all the stuff earlier than February, but I didn't get anything until after the 31st of January.
