I used Velvety for the first time to dry clean 5 suits and 1 silk tie. Worst mistake of my life. Out of the 13 items that were dry cleaned, 5 were badly damaged. The fabric had been pulled on multiple spots. I went back and Reza agreed to repair them. They did look better after the repair, but I still needed to spend an hour when I got back home to trim pieces of frayed & pulled fabric & use a bobble remover to get the suits back into a wearable condition. Reza refused to take accountability, making up excuses about this just being wear & tear (the worst affected suits were worn once for a wedding) or that I can't prove they weren't in this state before I handed them in. Out of the 12 years I've been using dry cleaners, I've never had my suits damaged in this way and the gaslighting was unreal.
If you choose to go here, I'd take photos of your clothes inside & out beforehand, pay with a credit card for buyer protection, and take your time to inspect the clothes at the shop when you pick them up. read more
