He let me know in advance how to prepare for shoot day, simple things like shaving in advance so you don't get red bumps or anything that would show up in the pictures, which I thought was a great touch. I was really nervous to do my first ever photographic shoot but he really put me at my ease, keeping a steady flow of chatter going and helping me relax. He gives brilliant direction so I was comfortable with every pose as he made it all so easy for me and I really could not be more thrilled with the photographs, even if they may not be something I want to show the grandkids in years to come, I will always have them for myself. You can bring items you have from home like corsets and lingere, but he also has a dress up box full of incredible outfits to peruse, so you don't have to worry about what to bring with you.

I have plenty of experience of being told that your picture is a cm too much resulting in you rushing to get it redone only to rush back to the particular embassy again, not fun. If on the other hand you are looking for other photography services than yes, they are industry standard prices. They also sell office and photography equipment. They are pleasant enough although the guy I dealt with for my photos got the size wrong, actually he got it wrong for a lot of people and he never apologised, he just acted like we were bothering him. The lady at the till is very pleasant, thankfully.

On one trip the ink was low, so the staff re-printed for me, no problem. Bummer that it costs 3 euro to print a quick 20 documents. That is higher than other places in town for bulk printing. The staff here is helpful and polite with helping to recover copies from flash drives and make separate jobs. The color prints are 80 cents each and turn out at fantastic quality. The photo finish paper and ink are professional and good by most standards I think. For other school/office/stationary needs the store is organized and staff there to help if you need it. I think their prices are standard to other office stores, but the selection here is more diverse and willing to special order for you if need be. This store is on the bus route or a bit of a trek from the Luas. You can also park on-site with your car or bike.

The room was clean and the beds weren't too bad. The bathroom had a shower/bath and some bar soap. The WiFi was free and worked good. You can get breakfast for a price, but there are so many food places nearby, there really is not need to have the hotel breakfast (try Flanagans on O'Connell). I would definitely stay here again, the location really is excellent and the price is right.

It's great to see it being used again as it was closed for many years following the economic slump, which was a shame as it should be an asset for a town like Celbridge. Beyond the hotel though, I would however love to see the guys here really try to get more of the local crowd in on the weekends. The food just isn't all that. Celbridge is crying out for a really top notch restaurant to go to - Maynooth has loads - but it seems that the Manor Hotel has unfortunately fallen short of the mark. It'd be great to see them re-look at their menu and do something a little special that would draw the non-residents crowd in and make it a hub in the town.
