Raspberry chocolate chip muffin. Gluten free but you couldn't tell! - A muffin topped with sugar crystals sits on a white plate on a weathered wooden table, with a beverage and a metal stand nearby.

What a great place! Saw it on the way to a hike and decided to stop for coffee. To my surprise almost half their baked goods were gluten free! Hard to choose but got the choc chip cookie. Got my husband the last chocolate peanut butter avocado brownie since it is gf and also dairy free (he's allergic to both). They were both so good and they said all their food is from scratch! We got almond milk lattes too which were tasty with the treats. The owners (husband and wife) we very friendly and gave me the low down on all the hiking and biking trails! After our hike we came back and had to stop again for a late lunch haha- we both got the Velo Rancheros which was amazing and tasty- the side salad was so simple and good. And I had to try another gf baked good so I got the raspberry chocolate muffin! Which was perfect! They definitely know how to bake gf. My husband also got a smoothie - chocolate peanut butter cold brew. Which is basically his favorite. So it was a great day for us For lunch we sat in the sun out back at one of their picnic tables which was nice! We will definitely be back! Can't say enough positive things!

Super friendly staff, nice outdoor seating and bocce ball court in the backyard. Would visit again!

The cutest espresso cups ever - A row of white coffee mugs with black bicycle illustrations is arranged on a counter at a cafe, with other cups, a kettle, and cafe decor in the background.

OMG. This place is EXACTLY what Cable needed!! I wasn't expecting much because they didn't have a menu on their website so I figured it was just coffee, smoothies and premade sandwiches. Boy was I pleasantly surprised to discover they had much more than that, including EXACTLY what I was looking for, the thing that I would eat for pretty much every meal if I couldn't get fish tacos: an egg muffin sandwich! And not only that, but I was blown away that they offered a VEGETARIAN substitute for the sausage patty, which turned out to be DELICIOUS. It comes with fresh spinach and your choice of four types of cheese (natch, it's Wisconsin, baby!), I got the pepper jack. I don't think my photos can possibly do this meal justice. I would give 10 stars if I could. The English muffin seemed like it might be homemade, it was much larger than store-bought English muffins, like 50% bigger. And the walnut vegetarian patty was equal to the size, so I think that was homemade as well. The people behind the counter (I believe were the owners) were so nice and accommodating. I was craving potatoes, so they made me a little side potato WAFFLE which isn't even on the menu, and it was AMAZING. Please put that on your menu, stat!! I want to order four more tomorrow, when I predict my husband will be having the huevos rancheros, which are also not on the menu but are a special this weekend, sounded amazing)! Will update my review then!

Cute little cafe tucked away in cable wisconsin. Serving UP coffee from Minneapolis was definitely a plus. Their blackberry muffin was out of this world with the blackberries being freshly picked from the owners own garden. The breakfast sandwich was also phenomenal. Definitely a must stop if you are in town!

Wow! So friendly and they make their syrups from scratch so you won't feel so basic getting their delicious pumpkin spice latte.

There's a lovely patio if the weather is nice. Things that I love about the Bierstube: *Moscow Mules available - properly served in copper mugs. Hell yes! *Great burgers. They're 1/2 lb, and never frozen. Above average fries too. *Cozy atmosphere - lots of warm wood and "lodge" decor. *Super friendly staffers. I've only ever had warm, pleasant service here. *Great fried cheese curds *Old timey slot machine that actually pays out quarters FYI - the Bierstube gets quite popular with boaters and vacationers so it might take a little time to get through a meal if you arrive after big groups. Also - the people watching is great. I saw a group of 8 middle aged peeps order giant Slippery Nipples (Baileys + Butterscotch Schnapps = baaarrrrff) and drink 'em down quite happily. Then a table of old guys played Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines on the jukebox. Good times. Good times.

People travel for several hours to get here, or hey, maybe they're just from a nearby golf course, but when they get here, they can be LOUD. That's OK though. It's entertaining to watch, and you CAN get good draft beer here (including German style beer) along with good wine, and some tasty appetizers and sandwiches. The lighting is warm and not too bright, and the walls are paneled in knotty pine. The staff generally works well together to make sure patrons are taken care of although during crowded times service can take a bit longer. The windows are large and look out onto the deck where seating is available, and just past that you have a great view of the lake. I dig it. And Joanna T is right, the slot machine is way cool.
